Stampin’ Up! Field Of Flowers Sneak Peek for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Hope you had a productive one.  Is anyone doing anything this weekend?  A friend of mine was going to a nursery and I asked her to pick up a flat of flowers for me.  I’m hoping to get them planted around my gardens and in some of my flower pots.

For today’s card I have a fun fold that uses a whole sheet of cardstock along with giving you a sneak peek of a new bundle coming in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors were inspired by Paper Players Color Challenge #490.  Here are their colors.

My design is from the CAS Colours & Sketch Challenge #370.  Here is their sketch.

I also joined in with Just Add Ink Challenge #505. Their theme is ‘Thinking of You!’

I started with an 8 1/2″ X 11″ panel of Pool Party cardstock.  I scored it in half at 5 1/2″.  I turned the panel the long way and scored it at 2 1/8″ & 6 3/8″.  It should look like the photo below.

I cut the top right and left side panels off at the score lines, it will look like the photos below.  After cutting the side panels off, I cut another 1/16″ off the gate folds so that the top would fold down flat.  The bottom portion will be a gate fold card and the top portion will fold down.

The bottom portion will be a gate fold card and the top portion will fold down.

I adhered a panel of Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Pool Party mat using Snail.  On a Whisper White strip I stamped the foliage image from the Stampin’ Up! Field of Flowers Photopolymer Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green Ink.  I adhered the panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail.  On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the tiny flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink a couple times.  I cut the images out using the Confetti Flowers Border Punch.  I also cut some of the flowers out of a scrap of Melon Mambo cardstock.  I randomly adhered the flowers to the stems using tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On another small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the larger stem image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink over the sentiment.  I stamped the single flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink on the stems.  I stamped the dragonfly image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink  below the sentiment and a couple times on the DSP.  I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped circle out of Pool Party cardstock using the Layering Circles Dies that was a size larger than the stitched circle.  I adhered the stitched circle to the scalloped circle using Snail and then on top of the artwork strip using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Melon Mambo Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the artwork.

I adhered 2 panels of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to the 2 inside fold panels.  To keep with the colors, I colored the leaves and flowers on the DSP using my Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Write Markers.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the stem image from the Field of Flowers stamp set on the side and bottom of the panel in Granny Apple Green Ink.  I stamped the double flower image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink on top of the stems.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the flower images from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink on top of the stems.  I stamped the dragonfly image from the Field of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink near the flowers.  I adhered a panel of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The stamp set/bundle I used will be available for purchase June 3rd.  The DSP and Noble Peacock Rhinestones I used will be retiring June 2nd or while supplies last.  Happy Stamping.

Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s weekend been so far?  I had to work yesterday, which was supposed to be a partial day ended up being all day.  So much for people having to stay home.  It was just a crazy busy day.  I’m home today and hoping to finish up some of my spring cleaning.

Today’s card can be used for a lot of different occasions.  I left the sentiment pretty general so I can use it for whatever I need.  Here’s today’s card.

My design today is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #429.  Here is their sketch.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #587.  Here is their color pallet.

I started by adhering a panel of the Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base using Snail.  Using my Stitched Shapes Dies, I cut 3 circles, one in Mint Macaron, one in Rococo Rose and one in Smoky Slate.  I embossed the circles using my Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the circles to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue overlapping the DSP halfway.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Blossoms Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink.  I colored the image in using my Mint Macaron and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the matching Cherry Blossoms Dies.  Using Stampin’ Dimensionals, I adhered the floral image to the card front on top of the circles.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink to the left of the artwork.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink in the center of a  Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower, leaves and flower bud images from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the panel.  I colored the images in using my Mint Macaron and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Rococo Rose mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower, leaves and flower bud images from the Forever Blossoms stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Mint Macaron and Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Neutrals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug for Fun Fold Friday

Happy Friday the 13th my stamping friends.  I hope you’re not superstitious about the date, I’m not.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here, hope you are all ready for it, I know I am.  I get to work Saturday at the dog bakery.  We’re having a party for the owners dog for her 1st gotcha day.  They are making a big cake and dogs are invited to the party for some yummy cake (owners too).  Sunday  I’m looking forward to attending our quarterly Team Meeting.  It’s always so much fun to get together with fellow team members to enjoy lunch and stamping together.

For today’s card I made a pretty easy fun fold for you using the Sale-A-Bration Host exclusive stamp set.  Take a look.

My colors were inspired by The Paper Players Challenge #481.  Their colors just screamed spring/summer to me.  Here are their colors.

I also joined in with Global Design Project Challenge #231.  Here is their theme.

I started by embossing a small panel of Bermuda Bay cardstock using the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder.  I adhered the panel to the front of the Z-Fold using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Cling Host Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the flying ladybug on the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the images in using my Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the ladybug image again and just colored in the left wing with my dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I fussy cut the wing and adhered it on top of the stamped ladybug using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the top of the panel.  I adhered the artwork to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the embossed card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels which I colored using my dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel which I colored using my dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Marker by the sentiment and a Coastal Cabana rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestones on the other side of the sentiment.

On the inside I adhered a panel of Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped another one of the ladybug images from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I colored the image in using my Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the panel to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue making sure it was hidden under the card front panel.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped another one of the ladybug images from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink next to the flower.  I colored the images in using my Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Birthday Bonanza DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Hello Sunshine Inspiring Iris

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers. We’re halfway through the week already. Hope you are having a productive week.

I have another card from our card class last night that we made.  The ladies were busy making all the cards.  It was another fun night stamping with friends.  Here’s my card.

My colors were inspired by Fab Friday Challenge #184.  Here are their colors.

My design is from Global Design Project Challenge #230.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock using the Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted panel to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the outlined flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Inspiring Iris Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink 3 times.  I stamped the stem fill image from the Inspiring Iris stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink on all 3 flower stems over the outlined image.  I stamped the flower fill image from the Inspiring Iris stamp set 2 times with Rococo Rose Ink and once with Petal Pink Ink over the outlined image.  I cut the flowers out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  Using the Layering Circle Dies, I cut the scallop circle that fit the stitched circle from a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP.  I adhered the artwork to the scalloped mat using Snail and I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I punched the sentiment out using the Classic Label Punch.  I punched out another label  from Mint Macaron cardstock using the Classic Label Punch.  I cut the Mint Macaron label in half and adhered it to the sentiment label on each side using Snail  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a small piece of Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic Edged Ribbon, which I tied into a knot, to the artwork using a Glue Dot.  I added a few Rococo Rose 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower fill images from the Inspiring Iris stamp set 3 times on the bottom of the panel, once in Petal Pink Ink and 2 times in Rococo Rose Ink.  I stamped the stem fill image from the Inspiring Iris stamp set 3 times in Mint Macaron Ink below the flower images.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower outline image from the Inspiring Iris stamp set 3 times on the card front using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the stem fill image from the Inspiring Iris stamps set over the outlined images in Mint Macaron Ink and stamped the flower fill image from the Inspiring Iris stamp set twice in Petal Pink Ink and once in Rococo Rose Ink over the outlined images.  I adhered a panel of Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Winds of Change

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started out?  We’re back to rain here.

For today’s card I used a set from the Annual Catalog.  Take a look.

My colors were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #333.  Here are their colors.

My design was from Paper Craft Crew #371.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the large windmill image from the Stampin’ Up! Winds Of Change Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the image out using my Layering Circle Dies.  I cut a scalloped mat from a panel of Lovely Lipstick cardstock using the Layering Circle Dies.  I adhered the artwork to the scalloped mat using Multipurpose Liquid glue.

I stamped the windmill image from Winds of Change stamp set again on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock in Soft Suede Ink.  I cut a small circle out of the image using the Layering Circle Dies.  I colored the small circle image in using my Lovely Lipstick and Mint macaron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the small circle to the artwork using a Stampin’ Dimensional lining the images up.  On a Thick Whisper White card base I stamped the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape, Lovely Lipstick and Mint Macaron all around the front of the card base.

I adhered the artwork to the center of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Winds of Change stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Lovely Lipstick mat using Snail.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Winds of Change stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tulip image from the Winds of Change stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Lovely Lipstick mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Day Pressed Petals CAS

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone’s week going?  This Friday is Valentine’s Day, is anyone doing anything fun?  It’ll be a stay at home night for me.  Maybe make a nice dinner, but I definitely will not be going out to dinner.  I did make cute little valentines for all my cashiers and co-workers.  I love giving them little treats every now and then just to let them know how much I appreciate them.

I made a really quick and easy card for you today.  I used one of my favorite 2018-2020 In-Colors, Blueberry Bushel.  This is one of my favorite shades of blue, it’s such a rich color.  The 2018-2020 In-Colors will be retiring at the beginning of June.  If there is one or all the colors that you like, don’t wait to get them.  The paper and ink are the first things to sell out.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by cutting a band for the card front in Blueberry Bushel cardstock using the Detailed Bands Dies.  I adhered it to a Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper card front using Glue Dots.  I folded the ends of the band around the back of the DSP and adhered them with Glue Dots.  I just love when the Designer Series Paper does most of the work for you.  This paper is so gorgeous and realistic looking.

I adhered the card front to a Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a scrap of Shimmer White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.

I cut the sentiment out using the oval die from the Detailed Bands Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the center of the band on the card front using Snail.

On the inside I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the top left of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the cascading leaves image from the Very Versailles stamp set on top of the script image in Pear Pizzazz Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the cascading leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on top of the script.  I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Poppy Moments

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is your week starting off?  Tonight is my Stamp Camp Class so I have another pretty easy card since I’m not sure what kind of stampers the new ladies are.  Here’s my card.

I started by using the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set and stamped the Pool Party card front using Pool Party Ink.  I stamped the 2 poppy images and the leaf image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Painted Labels Dies.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies making sure that the sentiment was near the top of the circle.  I cut the swirly circle  out of Sahara Sand cardstock using the Painted Labels Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the center of the swirly circle using Snail.  I adhered the flowers and leaves to the bottom of the sentiment using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and I adhered the card front to the Sahara Sand card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the poppy  and leaf image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Pool Party Ink all around the edges of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Pool Party Ink all around the front of the envelope.  I stamped the poppy and leaf images from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Bird Ballad Pinwheel for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge, here are the colors we got to work with.

Here is my card using these beautiful colors.  I just love Petal Pink and Pool Party together.

I thought I would pull out some scraps of DSP from the Annual Catalog.  I’ve been wanting to try this card and it’s a perfect way to use up some of your scraps.  I started by embossing a Petal Pink card front using the Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.  I adhered the  embossed panel to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I took 2 Whisper White panels and adhered them to 2 Pool Party mats using Snail.  Using my Grid Paper for a guide, I adhered one on top of the other so that all sides and points were equal, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue so I had a little wiggle room.

I started at the top and only putting Snail on one side of the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper square, I adhered it to the Whisper White panel making sure there was an equal edge around the top.  I continued around the squares adhering every other design of DSP overlapping the left corner of the square on the previous piece and making sure there was an equal edge around the tops.  Each square I put Snail on 2 of the sides.  When I got to the last piece I adhered the left side on the previous piece and tucked the right side under the 1st piece I put down (that is why you only put Snail on one side of the 1st piece).  I then added a little Snail to the 1st piece on the edge overlapping.  I hope this makes sense.  I adhered my pinwheel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a small bow using the Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon and adhered it to the center of the pinwheel using a Glue Dot.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set in Pool Party Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock using the next size Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Petal Pink Frosted Flower Embellishment to the side of the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pool Party Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the large and small flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the sides of the sentiment.  I colored the flowers in using my Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped a cluster of flowers from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the flowers in using my Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  As always, if you have any questions or can’t understand my directions, drop me a message and I will try to explain it better.  Now that you’ve seen my card you can hit the next button to hop over to Amy Koenders blog or you can just click on the names below. Happy Hopping!!

Stampin’ Up Blue Wild Rose for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is upon us, have you made any plans yet?  Today we’re off to Epcot after a quick stop at Hollywood Studios again. The new Star Wars – Rise of the Resistance ride broke right when we got on yesterday (after waiting 9 hours for our que and over an hour on line).  We were rushed on to a ship, flown into space and taken by the Storm Troopers and it broke 😦   They gave us a ticket to go back to Hollywood Studios today and Fast Pass to go back on that ride.  I thought it was going to be a laid back day walking around Epcot, but plans have changed.  I’m sure I’ll be getting another 10 miles+ of walking in again.  My son wants to bring my daughter drinking around the world at Epcot,  guess I’m going to be the designated one to get everyone back to the hotel safely.  My daughter turned 21 last May and does not drink, this should be interesting.  I know we have Mission Space and Test Track on the agenda at Epcot for today.  My husband hasn’t mentioned Soaring yet.  That one got me a little nauseous last time we were here.  We’ll see what happens, just give me the Dramamine.

I have another new to me Overlay Fun Fold for you today using the beautiful Stampin’ Up To A Wild Rose Bundle.  I saw this card done by Lisa Curcio and thought I would CASE it. Here’s my card.

I started by scoring and folding a Seaside Spray card base.  The card base is 5 1/4″ X 5 1/2″  You need to score it so that you have a 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ card base.  I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the 4″ X 4″ Seaside Spray panel under the fold of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, lining up the bottom edges.  I adhered the embossed Crumb Cake panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a 5″ X 4 1/2″ panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the outlined rose image once and the outlined leaf image3 times from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the rose image in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the leaf images in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Wild Rose Dies.

I adhered the rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the leaves under the rose using Glue Dots.  I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon around the top of the card front and tied a square knot.  I’m not sure if I am going to use this card for Birthday, Mother’s Day, or any other occasion, so I didn’t put a sentiment on the front panel yet.  Once I decide I will stamp and punch a sentiment and adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the outlined rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once, to the center of a Shimmery White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the rose image.  I adhered the Shimmery White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outlined rose image from the To A Wild Rose stamp set on the envelope front.  I stamped the fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the detail fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink over the other image.  I adhered a panel of the Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In-Color Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my fun fold card and will give it a try.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  we’ll be spending it at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios again.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  By the time you read this we will be at Hollywood Studios, first stop is Star Tours.  My husband got the fast pass for that at 8:15am, I’m not sure how I’m going to be on that one first thing in the morning.  We’ll be ending our day watching Fantasmic, one of my favorite shows.  Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  Here are the colors for this week.

Here is my card using these colors.

I started by stamping the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set 3 times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I masked the large flowers and stamped the medium flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the small stemmed flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  To mask the large flowers, I stamped the image on a Post-It note and fussy cut them out.  I covered the stamped image with the Post-It and stamped the other images over it.

I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the Flirty Flamingo flowers and Real Red Ink on the Real Red flowers. Since the Painted Poppies stamp set doesn’t come with any sentiments I had to pick one from another stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to the right of the flowers.

I took a thin strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink all down the strip.  I adhered the strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock to the right side of the Whisper White panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the large flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set on the top and bottom corner of a Whisper White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I masked the flower and stamped the medium flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set on either side of the large flower in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the Flirty Flamingo flowers and Real Red Ink in the Real Red flowers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Accented Blooms Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I masked the flower and stamped the medium flower image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on either side of the flower.  I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.
