Good Thursday morning my stamping friends! Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Sketch Challenge. I’ve been using Sale-a-bration items all this week since it’s the last week to earn them. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here’s our sketch for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Flowering Fields DSP to a Thick Basic White card base.

I adhered 2 strips of the Flowering Fields DSP to the right side of the panel, overlapping. I cut a panel of Poppy Parade cardstock using the lattice die from the Rain Boot Dies and adhered it over the layered strips of DSP. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Layering Circles Dies. I cut a coordinating scalloped circle from a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock using my Layering Circles Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the scalloped circle and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the tulip stems and leaves from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped the medium tulip heads from the Flowering Tulips stamp set on the stems in Highland Heather and Mango Melody Inks. The larger image I stamped full strength and the smaller fill image I stamped off once in the same colors.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the tulip stems and leaves from the Flowering Tulips stamp set on the envelope front in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped the medium tulip heads from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Mango Melody, Highland Heather and Poppy Parade Inks on the stems. I stamped the larger images in full strength ink and the smaller fill images in the same color inks stamped off once. I adhere a panel of the Flowering Fields DSP to the envelope flap.

Paper Pumpkin Price Increases Beginning March 1

On March 1, 2022, Paper Pumpkin kits will see a slight increase in price for both month-to-month orders and prepaid subscriptions. Despite Covid’s continued strain on the global economy, Stampin’ Up! has been working diligently to maintain the lowest possible price for our Paper Pumpkin kits–including absorbing costs to prevent price increases. However, as we continue to see greater cost increases to raw materials, shipping, and overhead, we have made the decision to increase pricing in order to maintain the high quality and value of the monthly kit.
