Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? I got out of work early yesterday and was able to enjoy a beautiful day until the thunderstorms rolled in around 6:30pm. This was Coraline’s first thunderstorm, and she did much better than I expected. She only barked a little at the thunder. I’ll be at the dog bakery all day today, which is ok since it’s supposed to be much cooler than yesterday.

Today’s card uses a bundle that will be carrying over to the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. The stamp set and dies will be available separately not as a bundle. If this is one of the bundles that you’ve been undecided about getting, now’s a great time to grab it while you can still get the bundle price. Here’d my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Prints 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Bundle along with the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Prints 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of Sun Prints DSP to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a smaller panel of Sun Prints DSP to the top of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Prints 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Cling Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the fern image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Night of Navy cardstock twice. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the sentiment and images out using the Natural Prints Dies. I cut the sprig die cut pieces from a panel of Brushstroke Specialty Paper using the Natural Prints Dies.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Prints 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the fern and floral images to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the sentiment on top of the fern using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sprigs under the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Solid Faceted Gems to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Prints 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the floral/fern images from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Gray Granite and Night of Navy Inks on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Night of Navy mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

Stampin' Up! Nature's Prints 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the floral/fern images from the Nature’s Prints stamp set on the envelope front in Gray Granite and Night of Navy Inks. I adhered a panel of Sun Prints DSP to the envelope flap

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog or the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

I colored the image using my Highland Heather and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the butterfly out using the Brilliant Wings Dies. I adhered the butterfly to the layered panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a large bow using Linen Thread and adhered it to the layered panel using a Glue Dot. I adhered the sentiment over the bow using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added 3 black Classic Matte Dots to the butterfly body. I added a couple Solid Faceted Gems to the sentiment.

Stampin’ Up! Botanical Layers Paneled Card

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope you are all doing well this weekend and doing something fun. I’m off to the races to watch my husband drive. I’m sure it’s going to be a blast.

Today and tomorrow’s cards are similar with a twist. I just love this design. My upline Jaimie had us make this a year ago at a mystery stamping. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Layers Paneled 1 creativestampingdesign.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Layers Cling Stamp Set along with the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Layers Paneled 2 creativestampingdesign.com

I started by adhering a panel of Sun Prints DSP to a Basic White mat. I adhered the layered panel to a Starry Sky card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Layers Paneled 3 creativestampingdesign.com

On the 3″ X 4″ panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the images from the Botanical Layers stamp set in Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot and Starry Sky Inks randomly. I embossed the panel using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I then cut the panel into 4 – 1″ strips. I adhered the strips to the 3 1/8″ X 4 1/4″ panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the layered panel to a Merry Merlot mat and then to the Starry Sky card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Layers Paneled 4 creativestampingdesign.com

I adhered a piece of Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon to the layered panel using Stampin’ Seal. On a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Layers stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder from the Basic Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using my Natural Prints Dies. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Heart Pearls to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Layers Paneled 5 creativestampingdesign.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Layers stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the images from the Botanical Layers stamp set on the panel in Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot and Starry Sky Inks. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Merry Merlot mat and then to the inside of the Starry Sky card base.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Layers Paneled 6 creativestampingdesign.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the images from the Botanical Layers stamp set on the envelope front, the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Sun Prints DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin' Up! Botanical Layers Paneled 7 creativestampingdesign.com

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give this design a try. I hope you will stop back at my blog tomorrow to see a similar card with a bit of a twist. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Fun Fold Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. 14 years ago today we brought home my little fur baby Jasmine. She was so small, loved to be held and would curl up in my lap. She’s much bigger now and can’t do that, but she still loves to lay her head on my lap. She has brought us so much joy over the past 14 years, I can’t imagine not having her around. She has been the most loyal companion I’ve ever had, sticking by my side if I’m inside making cards, blogging or outside gardening. She was my Mother’s Day gift 14 years ago. Happy Gotch Day Jasmine.

Are you ready for the weekend? I hope you are making some fun plans. I’ll be working Sunday this weekend. Yes, I have to work on Mother’s Day. I make up the schedule for all the cashiers a month in advance. For some reason I thought next Sunday was Mother’s Day. It’s ok though, I’m working with a friend of mine and we always have a lot of fun together.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sun Prints Suite Collection for my card today.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Cling Stamp Set in VersaMark Ink on a panel of Night of Navy cardstock. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder from the Basic Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using the Natural Prints Dies. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the wheat grass image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink. I cut the images out using my Natural Prints Dies. Using my Natural Prints Dies, I cut 4 of the larger sprigs from a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock and 2 of the small sprigs from a panel of Pacific Point cardstock.

Here is my template of how to score and fold the card base. I suggest not using Basic White Thick cardstock like I did. It’s harder to fold on the score lines properly. When I tried this on regular cardstock, all my score lines folded perfectly. I scored and folded my Basic White Thick cardstock as listed in the above photo.

For the front Sun Prints DSP panel, I measured down from the top right 1 7/8″. I cut from the 1 7/8″ mark to the top left corner using my Paper Trimmer. I adhered the panels to the front of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. For the back Sun Prints DSP panel, I measured up from the bottom left 1 7/8″. I cut from the 1 7/8″ mark to the bottom right corner using my Paper Trimmer. I adhered the panels to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. For the center Basic White panel, I measured down from the top left 1 7/8″ and made a small mark. I measured up from the bottom right 1 7/8″ and made a little mark. I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set below where I would be cutting the panel in Pacific Point Ink. I stamped the floral images from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Pacific Point Ink, stamping off twice on scrap paper, on the top and bottom of the panel. I stamped the wheat grass image from the Nature’s Print stamp set in Saraha Sand Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the side and bottom of the panel. I cut from the pencil marks on the Basic White panel to the opposite corners using my Paper Trimmer. I adhered the 3 pieces of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the Basic Whtie Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the belly band, I embossed the strip of Basic White cardstock using the Fern 3E Embossing Folder. To do this, I put the strip in the folder on an angle and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I loosely wrapped the belly band around the card base and adhered it using Tear & Tape. I arranged the die cut pieces the way I wanted them and adhered them together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the sentiment over the top of the small collage using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the collage to the belly band, over the seam where I adhered it together, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment panel.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the floral image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Pacific Point Ink, stamping off twice on scrap paper, on the envelope front. I stamped the wheat grass image from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, next to the floral image. I adhered a panel of the Sun Prints DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. The items used for today’s card will be available May 3rd. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.
