Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Shimmery Card

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. Happy Mother’s Day!!! I hope you all have a relaxing day and maybe get some ‘YOU’ time in with some stamping or whatever you enjoy doing. I’m hoping not to work and get some stamping time in.

Today’s card is another version of yesterday’s card. We made this card at my card class last week. I gave everyone the option of either using DSP or the embossing folder. Here’s the alternative card.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Photopolymer Stamp Set for this card along with the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder.

I started by embossing a panel of the Shimmer White paper using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder and adhering it to a Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a small panel of Sand & Sea DSP I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink on the bottom of the panel. Using my Delightful Tag Topper Punch, I cut the top of the panel. I stamped the starfish image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on either side of the sentiment. On a small panel of Blushing Bride cardstock I stamped the starfish and seashell images from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink. Using my Delightful Tag Topper Punch I cut the top of the Blushing Bride panel.

I threaded a length of Blushing Bride 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon through the 2 tags and tied a bow with a piece of Linen Thread around the ribbon. I adhered the tags to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Opal Rounds to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sand image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the shell images from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Sahara Sand mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I stamped the sand image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set along the bottom front of a Basic White Medium Envelope in Sahara Sand Ink. I stamped the seashell images on the envelope front in Blushing Bride Ink. I adhered a panel of the Sand & Sea DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Snailed It

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. How has your weekend started off? I have off today, YAY!! I’ll be doing a lot of cleaning at home though. We’re finally done with all the work in my house, so it’s time to start putting things back together. Yesterday was very productive for me. I filled multiple bags and boxes for good will with coats and clothes and many other items. I figured now is the best time to really clean things out since we had to move and empty so many things.

For today, I played with a set that I kind of pushed to the side. I really like it too, so I don’t know why I haven’t used it. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Snailed It Suite for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of the Snail Mail Designer Series Paper to a Real Red card base using Stampin’ Seal. From a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock I cut multiple envelopes using the Snail Dies. I adhered them to a Blushing Bride card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and cut the panel down to 3 5/8″ X 4 7/8″.

I adhered a panel of the Snail Mail DSP to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the stamp die from the Snail Dies. I embossed a panel of Real Red card stock using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder and adhered it to the Basic White stamp die using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the mushroom image from the Stampin’ Up! Snailed It Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image in using my Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using the Snail Die and adhered it to the Real Red panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a small panel of Real Red cardstock using the stitched rectangle from the Snail Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Snailed It stamp set in Versamark Ink on the bottom of the rectangle. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered it under the artwork using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Resin Hearts to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a panel of the Snail Mail DSP. I stamped the mushroom image on a panel of Basic White cardstock in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Snail Dies and adhered it to the bottom of the panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the DSP panel to a Bermuda Bay mat using Stampin’ Seal and the to the inside of the Real Red card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the mushroom image from the Snailed It stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Snail Mail DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches CAS

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and heading towards the weekend.

It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concept. For the next 2 weeks we have a Loads of Lavender challenge. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set . I was inspired by the colors in the photo along with the gingham bow (even though mine isn’t black) for my clean and layered card today.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concept and join us this week to play along with our challenge #153. How are you inspired by this photo?

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Gray Granite card base using Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pitcher image from the Stampin’ Up! Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. If this is a set that you like, it will be retiring as of May 3rd. I colored the image in using my Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the leafy image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink above the pitcher and colored the leaves in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the image out using my Scalloped Contours Dies. These are my absolute new favorite dies in case you can’t tell. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a small bow using the gingham ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it to the pitcher using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the leafy image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the corners of the panel and colored the leaves in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Succulent mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Gray Granite card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leafy image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the envelope front and colored the leaves in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles CAS

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s week started off? Hope you will be having a productive one.

For today I made a simple stamping card for you. My card uses Stamps, Ink and Paper. I used the Stampin’ Up! Very Versailles Cling Stamp Set for my card. I’ve been wanting to use it for a while, so here’s my card for today.

My colors are from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #360.

I started with a Basic White card front and stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in So Saffron Ink, stamping off once. I stamped the leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the card front overlapping the script.

I adhered a panel of Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card front to a Highland Heather mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Basic White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Highland Heather Ink and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the script image from the Very Versailles stamp set in So Saffron Ink, stamping off twice, in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the leaf from the Very Versailles stamp set image on the side of the panel in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set in Highland Heather Ink in the center of the panel over the script image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf image from the Very Versailles stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Hydrangea Hill DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts Dragonfly

Good Sunday morning my fellow stampers. How is everyone’s weekend going? Did you all remember to turn your clocks ahead? I made sure I did all of mine before retiring last night. I love this time of year, getting up in the daylight and it staying light out later at night. How about you, which time of year do you prefer?

I have a quick card for you today using the Stampin’ Up! Happy Thoughts Cling Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden. Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #633. These colors give me that summer feeling.

I played along with Just Us Girls Trend Week Challenge #575. Use and Embossing Folder.

I also played along with Stampin’ Up! Only Challenges #270. Their Theme is Sky High – anything That Flies.

I started by embossing a Crumb Cake card front using the Dandelion 3D Embossing Folder. On an panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in Basic Gray Ink. I punched the sentiment out using my Label Me Fancy Punch. I punched both sides of the sentiment using the Label Me Fancy Punch again and threaded a length of Seaside Spray 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon through.

I wrapped the ribbon around the card front securing it on the back of the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card front to a Seaside Spray card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the dragonfly image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Basic Gray Ink twice. I punched both dragonflies out using my Dragonfly Punch. I colored one of the dragonfly’s wings using my Clear Wink of Stella brush and Seaside Spray Ink (which I put on a clear block). Using my Bone Folder, I fluffed the wings of the colored dragonfly and adhered just the bodies of the dragonflies together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the dragonfly to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to my card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts stamp set in Basic Gray Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the dragonfly image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set on the panel in Basic Gray Ink, stamping off once. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the dragonfly image from the Dragonfly Garden stamp set in Basic Gray Ink on the envelope front and the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my CAS card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Friendship Card

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s week started off? Before I get to my card for today, I want to wish my very special fur baby a Happy 13th Birthday. I ordered her a special birthday cupcake from the Hungry Hound (one of my other jobs). She’ll be getting that later tonight after she eats her dinner 😉

This was 2008 when we first got Jasmine. Little girl with big paws.
She used to love laying on the last step watching everything/everyone go by
One of her favorite places to lay during the spring/summer
Her most recent picture in her new bed. She never liked beds till this year

Ok, on to my card for today. I used one of my favorite sets from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog for today’s card the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Product Medley. I don’t usually purchase the kits, but when I saw this one I just knew I needed it. Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from Fab Friday Challenge #208.

My design is from Just Add Ink Challenge #543.

I also joined in with Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Challenge #358.

I started by cutting 9 rectangles from 2 different panels of the Flowering Cactus Designer Series Paper using my Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhering them to a Mossy Meadow card front using Multipurpose Liquid glue. I adhered the card front to a Mint Macaron card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

In the Flowering Cactus DSP there is a panel that has all of the cactus and flowers to match up with the Flowering Cactus Dies. I cut everything out since I wasn’t sure what I was planning on using . I cut a panel of Vellum using my Stitched Shapes Dies and adhered it to the center of the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered one of the die cut cactus to the Vellum using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the Highland Heather cactus flowers to the cactus using Glue Dots.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the cactus using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a double bow using the Calypso Coral Linen Thread, that comes in the Flowering Cactus Product Medley, and adhered it using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Cactus stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the smallest cactus from the Flowering Cactus stamp set next to the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Ink and the flowers in Calypso Coral Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Mossy Meadow mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic white Medium Envelope. I stamped the smallest cactus from the Flowering Cactus stamp set across the bottom front of the envelope in Mossy Meadow and Calypso Coral Inks. I adhered a panel of the Flowering Cactus DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance CAS Note Card

Good rainy Monday morning my stamping friends, Happy March!! How was everyone’s weekend? It was and still is a bit rainy here, most of our snow has disappeared except for a few piles. It’s suppose to be a little warmer here this week so I’m sure it will all be gone before the end of the week.

Tomorrow is the day a lot of you have been waiting for. The new Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Bouquet will be available to order. Don’t forget the DSP’s are while supplies last. For my card today I used the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Bundle. Here’s my card for today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches #474.

My colors are from CAS on Friday Challenge #199.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Enjoy The Moment Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper card front. I adhered the card front to a panel of Bermuda Bay cardstock (to give a little more stability). I wrapped a piece of 1/2″ White Faux Linen Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the card front and adhered it in the back using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card front to a Bermuda Bay card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the butterfly from the Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Cling Stamp in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the butterfly out using the Brilliant Wings Dies and colored the image in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I curved the butterfly wings using my Bone Folder and adhered the butterfly to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the butterfly image from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp in Tuxedo Black Ink on the side of the panel and colored it in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basie White panel to a Calypso Coral mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Bermuda Bay card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped a butterfly from the Butterfly Brilliance stamp in Tuxedo Black Ink on the front or the envelope and colored it in using my Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Butterfly Bijou DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Quick and Easy Card Pack

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s weekend started off? I’ll be at work all day today and tomorrow. Last I heard, we will not be getting snow this weekend, but it’s still early to tell.

Today I have something a little different for you. I don’t have step by step instructions for you since I made a pack of cards. This would make a great gift for someone tied up with some ribbon or put in one of our Acetate Card Boxes and decorated. If you have any questions about any of the cards, please message me and I will explain how I made them. Here are the cards.

I used 1 sheet of the Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper and 1 sheet of the Golden Garden Designer Series Acetate to make all 6 cards. I placed the acetate over the DSP, tacked it in a couple places using Glue Dots and cut 4″ X 5 1/4″ panels.

This card I used So Saffron and Poppy Parade cardstock and just did a simple layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink and cut it our with the Messages Dies. Adhered it to Hippo and Friends die cut mat and adhered it to the card front.

This card I used Petal Pink and Terracotta Tile cardstock and just did a simple layering. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink and cut it our with the Label Me Fancy Punch and adhered it to the card front. Stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set in Petal Pink & Terracotta Tile, stem in Old Olive and cut images out with Floral Gallery Dies.
