Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Tag Card

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. Hope your weekend is starting out good. I’ll be at work all day today. Is anyone making plans for Mother’s Day tomorrow? There’s a chance I may be working tomorrow also, I’m not sure yet.

I have Double Creative Stamping Designs Rewards going on until Tuesday May 11th!! For orders $50 or more before tax and shipping I will give you double rewards, but please don’t for get to use my Current Host Code QH7JDXHB. So that means $50 = 2 rewards, $100 = 4 rewards, $150 = 6 rewards etc. Click Here for details about my reward program.

Today’s card is another one we made at my last card class. I stepped it up for the last card we made just a bit. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Bundle along with the Sand & Sea Designer Series Paper for my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Sand & Sea DSP to a Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a small panel of Sand & Sea DSP I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Friends Are Like Seashells Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink on the bottom of the panel. Using my Delightful Tag Topper Punch, I cut the top of the panel. I stamped the starfish image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink above the sentiment. On a small panel of Blushing Bride cardstock I stamped the starfish image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink. Using my Delightful Tag Topper Punch I cut the top of the Blushing Bride panel.

I stamped the sand dollar image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on a small panel of Shimmery White cardstock and cut the image out using my Seaside Shells Dies.

I threaded a length of Blushing Bride 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon through the 2 tags and tied a bow with a piece of Linen Thread around the ribbon. I adhered the tags to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sand dollar to the side of the tags on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Opal Rounds to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the shell images from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink on either side of the sentiment . I stamped the sand image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Sahara Sand mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the sand image from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set along the bottom front of the envelope in Sahara Sand Ink. I stamped the seashell images on the envelope front in Blushing Bride Ink. I adhered a panel of the Sand & Sea DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
