Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Black and White

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. Hope you have a fun weekend planned. I’ll be at work both days this weekend.

Today’s card is another one that we made at my class last week. Everyone’s card came out a little different. Here’s my card for today.

We used the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set for our card along with some of the retiring True Love Designer Series Paper.

I started by embossing a Basic White card front using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered a panel of the True Love DSP to the side using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the flower, sentiment and feather images from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I cut the images out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I adhered the rectangles to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Matte Black Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the True Love DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches CAS

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and heading towards the weekend.

It’s time for another inspiration challenge for The Card Concept. For the next 2 weeks we have a Loads of Lavender challenge. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set . I was inspired by the colors in the photo along with the gingham bow (even though mine isn’t black) for my clean and layered card today.

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Gray Granite card base using Stampin’ Seal.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pitcher image from the Stampin’ Up! Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. If this is a set that you like, it will be retiring as of May 3rd. I colored the image in using my Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the leafy image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink above the pitcher and colored the leaves in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the image out using my Scalloped Contours Dies. These are my absolute new favorite dies in case you can’t tell. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a small bow using the gingham ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it to the pitcher using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the leafy image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the corners of the panel and colored the leaves in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Soft Succulent mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Gray Granite card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the leafy image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on the envelope front and colored the leaves in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches CAS

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. Hope your weekend is starting out great. I’m working the whole weekend between my 2 jobs. My husband went to pick out our tree yesterday, he had to go to a couple different places. I can’t believe how many places are sold out of trees already. He unboxed all the ornaments last night and is planning on decorating it today. I can’t touch the tree, I’m allergic to it, lucky me. We do not put up traditional ornaments, our tree is filled with Disney ornaments and others similar toy type ornaments.

For today I have a Clean and Simple card for you where I made my own DSP. I went to the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and used the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set. Here’s my card for today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #465. Here is their sketch.

My colors are from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #354. Here are their colors.

I started by stamping the images from the Tasteful Touches stamp set randomly on a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Misty Moonlight. Some are stamped in full strength and some are stamped off once.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink in the center. I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink, stamped off 3 times, over the sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to a panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the card front to a Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a piece of Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In-Color 1/4″ Ribbon to the top of the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the images from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Misty Moonlight Ink around the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I stamped the images from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Misty Moonlight Inks on the envelope front and flap.

WHISPER WHITE CARDSTOCK PRODUCTS- AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  We’re halfway through our week already and on our way to the weekend.  You just have to love these 4 day work weeks.

It’s been taking my a while to make this decision, but I have finally decided to start doing Facebook Live videos.  I’ve done a couple before, but I thought I would give it a shot.  I will be going live today at 4pm.  I’d love feedback from everyone letting me know if this is a good time.  I’ve tried to pick a time that my team members don’t go live, since I like to watch them, and boy was that hard.  If you able to watch that would be awesome, if not, I will be posting the videos with the card on my blog and on my YouTube channel.  You can click on the Facebook icon above and it will take you to my Facebook page.  Fingers crossed all goes well.

For today’s card I have a Clean and Simple one for you.  This is actually the design I am making today live, just a little different.  So if you want to stamp along, the measurements are below.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by stamping a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set randomly around in Misty Moonlight Ink.

I stamped the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set in Just Jade Ink around the flowers.  I adhered the artwork to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In-Color Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in the top and bottom corner of the panel in Misty Moonlight Ink.  I stamped the splatter image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Just Jade Ink around the flowers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the envelope front and the splatter image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Just Jade Ink around the flower.  I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Just Saying Hello

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  Hope you are all having a wonderful week.    For today’s card my colors were inspired by some of my beautiful Hydrangea’s in one of my gardens.  I have so many beautiful blooms this year and multiple colors on one plant.  I think this is the best year ever with them. When I saw them blooming I immediately thought Balmy Blue and Purple Posy.

Here is my card for today.

My design is from Global Design Project Challenge #246.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping a Very Vanilla card front with the flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set with Balmy Blue Ink.  I stamped 2 of the flowers full strength and 2 stamped off once.  I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set 3 times colored with my Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker.

I stamped the top part of the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the ‘hello’ from the sentiment on a strip of Very Vanilla card stock in Early Espresso Ink.  I adhered the ‘hello’ below the stamped sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a strip of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to the edge of a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the card front to the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set, colored with my Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker, on either side of the sentiment.  I stamped the flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set, colored with my Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker, on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Special Tasteful Touches Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  It ended up being a beautiful day here yesterday.  I took my fur baby and went for a nice walk and enjoyed the sunshine.

For today’s card I mixed a little retiring DSP with some new DSP.  Some of the new DSP coming is so realistic looking, it’s beautiful.  Here’s my card for today.

My colors were inspired by Just Add Ink Colour Challenge #504.  Here are their colors.

My design is from Fab Friday Sketch Challenge #189.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the beautiful In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Smoky Slate card base using Snail.

I adhered a panel of Rococo Rose 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Basic Gray mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted DSP to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Smoky Slate cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the new Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set in Basic Gray Ink.  I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink above and below the sentiment.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I made a small bow from the Silver 3/8″ Metallic Edge Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment with a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Basic Gray Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set on the left side of the panel in Rococo Rose Ink, stamping in full strength and then continuing to stamp until the stamp ran out of ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Gray mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Smoky Slate card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches in Rococo Rose Ink on both sides of the envelope front.  I stamped in full strength and continued stamping until the ink ran out.  I adhered a panel of the Rococo Rose 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Sneak Peek for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Hope it was a productive one.  Is anyone doing anything for the weekend?  Sunday is Mother’s Day and I’m hoping to enjoy some crafting time.  It’s suppose to be cold here this weekend.  They are talking about getting snow tonight (which I’m actually not happy about).  I have to make some kind of tents tonight to try to protect my plants.  The last frost we had damaged a couple of them so I want to be prepared.

I’ve have a sneak peek for you today on some items from the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  I’ve made a peek-a-boo slider card for you using a new stamp set and the beautiful Just Jade cardstock.  I’m not a green fan, but I absolutely love this color.  Items for my card will be available June 3rd.  If you want to get the items early, you might want to consider joining as a demonstrator.  I’d be happy to help you do that, just drop me a line and I will help you.  We have an awesome team and I’d love to have you join us.   Here’s my card for today.

I started with the card front by stamping the leafy image from the Stampin’ Up! Tasteful Touches Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the Just Jade panel.  I stamped some in full strength ink and some stamped off twice. I set the panel aside.

I then worked on the inside of the card.  I folded the card center and cut a circle using the 4th from largest (2 1/4″) from the Layering Circles Dies and cut through both front and back.  I adhered a panel of the gorgeous new In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to the inside of the center card using Snail.  I opened the card center and lined up the 2 1/4″ circle die from the Layering Circles Dies with the already cut circle and cut through the DSP.  I scored and folded the card back and  adhered the card center using Tear &Tape Adhesive on the 1/4″ scored piece.  It should look like the photo below.

I adhered the card front to the card center using Snail on the front of the card center (hope this makes sense).  It will look like the photo below.

I opened all the panels so that I could cut the circle out of the card front.  I lined up the 2 1/4″ circle die from the Layering Circles Dies, with the circle from the card center and cut through the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the top of the card front. I added a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels on either side of the sentiment.

I cut a scallop circle from a panel of Rococo Rose cardstock using the 3rd largest (2 1/2″) scallop circle from the Layering Circles Dies.  I cut the center out using the same circle (2 1/4″) I used to cut the card panels.  I adhered the scalloped circle frame to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I tied a small bow using the new Just Jade Gingham Ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack and adhered it to the card front using a Glue Dot.

I stamped the beautiful flower image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I colored the image in using my Rococo Rose Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the 3rd largest circle (2 1/2″) from the Layering Circles Dies.  I added some Snail to the back of the image and lined it up behind the center card so that you could see it is centered in the circle.  I closed the card back onto the circle so that it was adhered to the card back.  You see the flower when the card is closed.

When you open the card you see a sentiment.  I stamped the sentiment  from the new Stampin’ Up! Celebrate Sunflowers Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of the circle (which is actually on the small folded panel from the card front).  I stamped the feather image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink around the sentiment, stamping off once.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the leafy image from the Tasteful Touches stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink on the envelope front.  Some are stamped in full strength and some are stamped off twice.  I adhered a panel of the In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.
