Stampin’ Up Blue Wild Rose for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is upon us, have you made any plans yet?  Today we’re off to Epcot after a quick stop at Hollywood Studios again. The new Star Wars – Rise of the Resistance ride broke right when we got on yesterday (after waiting 9 hours for our que and over an hour on line).  We were rushed on to a ship, flown into space and taken by the Storm Troopers and it broke 😦   They gave us a ticket to go back to Hollywood Studios today and Fast Pass to go back on that ride.  I thought it was going to be a laid back day walking around Epcot, but plans have changed.  I’m sure I’ll be getting another 10 miles+ of walking in again.  My son wants to bring my daughter drinking around the world at Epcot,  guess I’m going to be the designated one to get everyone back to the hotel safely.  My daughter turned 21 last May and does not drink, this should be interesting.  I know we have Mission Space and Test Track on the agenda at Epcot for today.  My husband hasn’t mentioned Soaring yet.  That one got me a little nauseous last time we were here.  We’ll see what happens, just give me the Dramamine.

I have another new to me Overlay Fun Fold for you today using the beautiful Stampin’ Up To A Wild Rose Bundle.  I saw this card done by Lisa Curcio and thought I would CASE it. Here’s my card.

I started by scoring and folding a Seaside Spray card base.  The card base is 5 1/4″ X 5 1/2″  You need to score it so that you have a 4 1/4″ X 5 1/2″ card base.  I embossed a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the 4″ X 4″ Seaside Spray panel under the fold of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, lining up the bottom edges.  I adhered the embossed Crumb Cake panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a 5″ X 4 1/2″ panel of Shimmery White cardstock I stamped the outlined rose image once and the outlined leaf image3 times from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the rose image in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the leaf images in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Wild Rose Dies.

I adhered the rose to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the leaves under the rose using Glue Dots.  I wrapped a piece of Seaside Spray 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon around the top of the card front and tied a square knot.  I’m not sure if I am going to use this card for Birthday, Mother’s Day, or any other occasion, so I didn’t put a sentiment on the front panel yet.  Once I decide I will stamp and punch a sentiment and adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the outlined rose image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once, to the center of a Shimmery White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the rose image.  I adhered the Shimmery White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Seaside Spray card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the outlined rose image from the To A Wild Rose stamp set on the envelope front.  I stamped the fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set over the outlined image in Seaside Spray Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the detail fill image from To A Wild Rose stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink over the other image.  I adhered a panel of the Seaside Spray 2019-2021 In-Color Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my fun fold card and will give it a try.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  we’ll be spending it at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios again.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  By the time you read this we will be at Hollywood Studios, first stop is Star Tours.  My husband got the fast pass for that at 8:15am, I’m not sure how I’m going to be on that one first thing in the morning.  We’ll be ending our day watching Fantasmic, one of my favorite shows.  Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  Here are the colors for this week.

Here is my card using these colors.

I started by stamping the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set 3 times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I masked the large flowers and stamped the medium flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and the small stemmed flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  To mask the large flowers, I stamped the image on a Post-It note and fussy cut them out.  I covered the stamped image with the Post-It and stamped the other images over it.

I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I then stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the Flirty Flamingo flowers and Real Red Ink on the Real Red flowers. Since the Painted Poppies stamp set doesn’t come with any sentiments I had to pick one from another stamp set.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to the right of the flowers.

I took a thin strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink all down the strip.  I adhered the strip of Flirty Flamingo cardstock to the right side of the Whisper White panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail.  I adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the large flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set on the top and bottom corner of a Whisper White panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I masked the flower and stamped the medium flower from the Painted Poppies stamp set on either side of the large flower in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the splotch image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the Flirty Flamingo flowers and Real Red Ink in the Real Red flowers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Accented Blooms Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I masked the flower and stamped the medium flower image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on either side of the flower.  I colored the flowers in using my Flirty Flamingo and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Hello

Good Wednesday morning from Disney World my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  We made it here safely and we’re out and running already.  Yesterday we had a pretty laid back day, only a little over 14,000 steps and 6 1/2 miles walked.  We’re heading over to Magic Kingdom today, so I’m sure there will be more miles covered.  My 24 year old son is so excited to go on the Buzz Light Year Space Ranger Spin (so he can beat all of us), Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion.  There’s something about Disney that brings the child back out of you.

I have an adorable card for you today, at least I think it is.  I used the new Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Bundle from page 30 of the new 2020 January-June Mini Catalog with the coordinating Designer Series Paper from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog.  I actually CASEd the card from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Snail.  Using the Detailed Bee Dies I cut the honeycomb out of a Gold Foil Sheet.  I adhered some of the honey pieces to the card front using Glue Dots.

On a small strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped 3 large bees from the Stampin’ Up! Honey Bee Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the bees out using the Detailed Bee Dies.  I colored the stripes on the bees in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I went over the wings of the bees using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  I adhered the honeycomb to a Very Vanilla panel, which I embossed using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the top and bottom bee to the panel using Glue Dots and the bee on the honeycomb using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a very thin strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to the very vanilla panel using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the honey pieces to the end of the strip using a Glue Dot.

I adhered a piece of 3/8″ Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon to the card front using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the bee hive from the Honey Bee stamp set in So Saffron Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the smaller bee image from the Honey Bee stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink next to the hive.  I stamped the sentiment from the Honey Bee stamp set above the hive in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the stripes on the bee in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I used my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush on the bees wings.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the large bee image from the Honey Bee stamp set twice in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the stripes on the bees in using my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker and the wings on the bee using my Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  I adhered a panel of Golden Honey Specialty DSP to the envelope flap

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Peaceful Painted Poppies

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  By the time you read this I will probably have landed in Orlando, Florida starting my vacation in Disney World.  My husband so nicely booked us on a 5am flight so that we would get a full day in our first day here.  I’m sure we will all be exhausted by tonight since we had to leave our house at 2am, so we didn’t even bother going to sleep last night.  Since I am away, I may not respond as quickly as normal to you, but I will be signing in before we leave for the parks in the morning and when we get back in the afternoon/evening.

For today’s card I have a very quick and easy card for you letting the Designer Series Paper do all the work for me.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the new Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail.

I wrapped a piece of the 3/8″ Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon around the panel and tied a bow having the Old Olive side out.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Cling Host Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Box Dies.  I tied a small piece of the Blackberry Bliss Natures Twine through the cut out sentiment and tied it around the Old Olive bow.

I added an Old Olive Noble Peacock Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the sentiment.  I adhered the card front to an Old Olive card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Forever Lovely Photopolymer Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the poppy image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink 3 times on the bottom of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the poppy image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the front of the envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Poppies DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Thinking of You Sneak Peek

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE!!  Does anyone have any fun plans for this evening?  What does everyone do?  Go out or stay in?  I’m a stay in person.  I grew up having New Year’s Eve parties at our house and inviting family and friends over.  Tonight will be the 1st time, since I’ve gotten married 31 years ago, that we are having people over.  My husband never did anything on New Years, so he never wanted to after we were married.  Now I just have to make sure I can stay awake, that’s always a challenge for me lately.

For my last card of 2019 I made you a Clean and Simple one.  I used one of my favorite sets from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog, which by the way starts in just 3 short days.  I love stamping large images that I can color with my Stampin’ Blends Markers.   Here’s my last card of the year for you.

My colors were inspired by Global Design Project Challenge #221.   Here are their colors.

I played along with Inspire. Create. Challenge # 059 for my design with today’s card.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Cherry Cobbler card front using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I took my Stamping Sponge and lightly sponged over the card front using Early Espresso Ink to give it a little shading.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Little Lady Bug Host Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a small panel of Whisper White Cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Early Espresso Ink below the flower.

I adhered the artwork to the embossed card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, letting it hang off the left side just a smidge and cut it even with the card front.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few of the Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the large flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off 5 times to get a real light image, on both sides of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid glue.  I added a couple more Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels on either side of the sentiment to give a little extra bling.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set once on the front of the envelope and twice on the envelope flap in Early Espresso Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping and have a Happy, Happy New Year!!!!  Stay safe tonight with whatever plans you have and I will see you in 2020!!

Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Ballad

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  I had my family over again for an after Christmas dinner.  It was much more relaxed and unplanned.   Well, 2019 is coming to an end tomorrow and I don’t know about you, but I sure am happy this year is ending.  This has not been the best year for me other than meeting up with my team members at OnStage twice, so I’m ready for 2020.  Is anyone  a  New Year’s resolution person of do you just go with the flow?  I’m coming up with some new ideas for the new year, but I stopped making resolutions since they never happen and I would just get angry with myself.  My moto is what will be, will be and I go with the flow.

For today’s card I used some items from the Annual Catalog.  Sometimes we get so caught up in the new catalogs starting that we forget about our Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper to a Calypso Coral card front using Snail.  I stamped the large bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I cut the image out using the Stitched Nested Labels Dies.  I cut a mat out using the larger Stitched Nested Labels Dies from a panel of Calypso Coral cardstock  I adhered the artwork to the mat using Snail.

I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Calypso Coral card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I chose not to put a sentiment on the front of my card today.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from Free As A Bird stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the small and medium flower image and the leaf image from the Free As A Bird stamp set multiple times in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the corners of the Whisper White panel.  I colored the flowers and leaves in using my Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Calypso Coral mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large bird image from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s short week?  We’ve got another short week coming up after this weekend.  Other than a tiny bit of running around yesterday, I was able to have a relaxing day off.  My main work place told me not to come in since there really wasn’t going to be any work and the dog bakery that I work at was closed for the day.  I can’t complain about a couple days off since I have been working 7 days a week for the past month or so.

For today’s fun fold card I used some of the new DSP in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog available on January 3, 2020.  Sale-A-Bration is where you get free merchandise with a qualifying order.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in the center of a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Garden Green Ink.  On either side of the sentiment I stamped the 1st rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the 2nd rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Lovely Lipstick Ink over the 1st image.  I stamped the 3rd rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the colored rose image.  I adhered the artwork to a Granny Apple Green Mat using Snail.

I folded a Granny Apple Green card base in half and then the front piece back and adhered a panel of the Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper (Sale-A-Bration item) to the top panel using Snail.  I wrapped a piece of the 3/8″ Linen Ribbon w/ White Edge from the Magnolia Lane Ribbon Combo Pack around the left side and tied a knot.  I adhered matted artwork to the card front half way across using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Glitter Enamel Dots to the artwork.

I adhered a panel of the Lily Impressions DSP to the inside of the card base using Snail.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from To a Wild Rose stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Garden Green Ink.  I stamped the rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set on either side of the sentiment the same as I did for the artwork on the front of the card.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the rose image from To a Wild Rose stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of Lily Impressions DSP to the envelope flap

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Winter Woods Friendly Silhouette Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s wee been going?  We’re already halfway through.  Did you all have a chance to hop around yesterday with Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop and see all the beautiful projects my team members made? If not, you can still go back to yesterday’s blog and hop around.

For today’s card I did a technique that I haven’t done before (at least I don’t think I have.  I used my Sponge Brayer to make the background on my card.  I usually do the sponging technique using my Stamping Sponges, but I thought I’d try something new.  Here’s my card.

My card played along with a couple challenges today.  1st off I joined in with As You See It Challenge #208.  Their challenge is a Night Glow Color Challenge.  Here are their colors.

Nest I played along with Fab Friday Challenge #171.  Here is their sketch

I also played along with Always Fun Challenge #127.  They have a Theme challenge this week.  Their theme is “Create a Scene”.

I started by using my Sponge Brayer and adding color slowly to a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I started with the bottom and added Mango Melody Ink.  I worked my way up and next used Coastal Cabana Ink.  On the top of the panel I used my Sponge Brayer with Pretty Peacock Ink.  After I was done adding the amount of color that I wanted, I stamped the multiple tree image from the Stampin’ Up Winter Woods Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the panel.

I cut 2 of the trees out from the In The Woods Dies from Basic Black cardstock and adhered them to either side of my card front using my Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I then cut the grassy cat tail die from the Friendly Silhouettes Dies out of Basic Black cardstock and adhered it to my card front using my Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I adhered the card front to a Coastal Cabana mat using Snail

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a thin Mango Melody strip of cardstock using Snail.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Coastal Cabana Glimmer Enamel Dot to the sentiment.  I made a tiny bow from the Pretty Peacock/Old Olive 3/8″ Reversible Ribbon and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the card front to a Pretty Peacock card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the tree image from the Winter Woods stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on either side of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Friend Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set in the center of the panel in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the tree image from the Winter Woods stamp set on either side of the envelope front and on the envelope flap in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Beauty and Joy Birthday Card

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week started off?  We have had beautiful weather here.  I hate going into work when it’s this nice.

Today’s card is another one that we made at my last Stamp Camp.  I just wasn’t ready to make any fall cards, but I wanted to share one of my new stamp sets with the ladies.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper on a Smoky Slate mat using Snail.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flower pot image from the  Stampin’ Up Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set (available Sept 4th)in Smoky Slate Ink.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink above the flower pot.  I stamped the leaves from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the tree trunk.  I randomly stamped the tiny flower image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink  on the leaves.

Using my Banner Triple Punch, I punched the bottom of the cardstock to make a banner.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the top of the card front twice and tied a bow.  I adhered the card front to a Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tiny flower image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink around the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower pot with tree images from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the envelope front the same way that I did on the card front.  I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The stamp set I used will be available for purchase September 4th.                        Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Beauty and Joy for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  Is everyone ready for the weekend?  Are you making any fun plans?  I’m going to be heading to the shore for the day today.  I’m really looking forward to going and just relaxing for a few hours.  I’m hoping that the water won’t be as rough as it was last time I was there.

I have a sneak peek for you today along with a Fun Fold.  I received my Pre–Order on Tuesday.  I heard the UPS truck coming down my street and I just knew it was for me.  I ran to the door to meet him and got my package and just tore into it.  I was so excited to see my new items and the new Holiday Catalog.  If you’re on my mailing list you will be receiving one soon. This fun fold is another new one that I’ve never done before.  I really had a lot of fun making this one.  This actually might be my new favorite fun fold.  Here’s my card.

Aren’t these colors gorgeous together.  I was inspired by the Global Design Project #201.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #233.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of the new Come To Gather Designer Series Paper to the side card front panel using Snail.

I stamped the wicker pot image from the new Stampin’ Up Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the leaves image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink above the tree trunk.  I stamped the tiny flowers from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink on top of the leaves.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail and then to the side panel of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center.  I stamped the tiny flowers from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink in the corners of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted sentiment to the inside card front right behind the card front artwork using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a few Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the bottom of the inside card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set in the center of the inside of the Whisper White card base in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I stamped the tiny flowers from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink in the corners.  I adhered the Whisper White card base inside the Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the tree trunk from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the leaves from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink above the tree trunk on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Come To Gather DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

What’s the old saying? Variety is the spice of life? At Paper Pumpkin, we like to mix things up and keep our customer’s crafting experience fresh and fun. We plan each kit carefully, allowing them to check as many creative boxes as possible while keeping our projects simple—so they can explore the world of paper crafting with confidence. With this in mind, we are bringing an elegant fall gift packaging kit to Paper Pumpkin fans this August.
Now, it’s no secret that our subscribers love cardmaking. So when we offer treat or gift packaging, you generally like to make a few card alternates with the kit. That’s why THIS month we decided to bring you the best of both worlds with the Gift of Fall Add-On Bundle. This coordinating product will allow you to turn your Gift of Fall gift packaging into cards in an easy and inexpensive way.

  • The August kit includes 6 gift bags and 12 gift tags. To receive this kit you must subscribe by August 10.
  • The Gift of Fall Add-On Bundle is a separate purchase for those who would like to convert their August Paper Pumpkin kit into cards.
  • The Gift of Fall Add-On Bundle card designs offer a great sneak of the designs and elements to come in the August kit.
  • Once you have completed the August kit, you will have extra kit components so you can easily combine them with the add-on without having to purchase additional kits.
  • Just as you would with any other Stampin’ Up! product, you will need to purchase the add-on bundle via OEX or the online store. You will not be able to add it to a Paper Pumpkin subscription purchase.
  • The price for the add-on bundle is $10.00 usd/$13.00 cad and is available for Paper Pumpkin subscribers only. This add-on is available beginning August 1, while supplies last!
