Stampin’ Up Path of Petals for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  The weekend is upon us already.  Has anyone made any plans for the weekend?  I’m really hoping to get in a few hours of craft time, I’m in desperate need of it.  I spent all day yesterday at the shore, it was simply gorgeous.  The air temp was perfect, not too hot, the water was a beautiful 76 degrees and I was able to relax listening to the waves crashing and the seagulls squawking.  It was high tide most of the day so it was a bit difficult finding shells and sea glass.  The ocean was actually very rough, it knocked my daughter right off her feet and she went tumbling in the waves.  She’s fine, just a little bruised up and it knocked the wind out of her.

Onto today’s card.  I have another Z-Fold card for you, but this time it’s turned around.  Here’s my card.

I started by scoring an Old Olive card base at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″ to make the Z-Fold.  I adhered a panel of the gorgeous Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper the front of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Path of Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set on a Very Vanilla Panel in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the leafy image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Old Olive Ink, stamping off once, around the sentiment.

I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Rococo Rose mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to the folded card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left side of the panel.

I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the inside right of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  This is the panel that you see when the card is closed.  On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Path of Petals stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the leafy image from the Path of Petals stamp set around the sentiment in Old Olive Ink stamping off once.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside left of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the leafy image from the Path of Petals stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Laser-Cut Thinking of You

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  We’re around the bend to the weekend now, hope you are starting to make some fun plans.  I’m on my way to the beach for the day.  It’s suppose to be beautiful today, hopefully the sand won’t be blistering hot that we can’t even walk on it.  The beach is my ‘Happy Place’ where I can sit back and relax.  It’s one of the few places that I can actually relax just listening to the waves and seagulls.  I also get inspiration there walking along the water and searching for shells and sea glass.

So onto today’s card.  For those of you that know me, you know that I do not like fussy cutting.  It’s just something I am not good at.  I am determined to conquer this fussy cutting problem.  I did a lot of fussy cutting for my card today, right down to the tiny bee on the sentiment strip.   Here’s my card.

I used the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut Cards & Tin for my card base today and the Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper for all my artwork.  These cards are so delicate and beautiful.  I adhered a panel of Garden Green cardstock behind the laser cut panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to make the laser-cutting stand out more.

I cut the largest stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies out of Terracotta Tile cardstock.  I adhered the flowers that I had fussy cut from the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP to the stitched circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the butterfly that I fussy cut from the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Woven Heirlooms Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede In on a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I sponged the edges of the strip with my Garden Green Ink to soften them a little.  I adhered the bee I fussy cut from the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP to the corner of the sentiment strip with a tiny piece of a
Stampin’ Dimensional.  I adhered the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I stamped the bottom with the grudge image from the Woven Heirloom stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Terracotta Tile mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the bottom front of the envelope that comes with the Bird Ballad Laser-Cut cards with the grudge image from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink.  I adhered a panel of the Mosaic Mood Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Bloom and Grow Quick and Easy Card

For today’s card I have a Quick and Easy card for you.  I used just the basics for my card, Stamp, Ink and Paper.  Here’s my card.

I started with a Thick Whisper White card base and adhered a panel of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Bloom & Grow Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I edged the strip using my Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker.

I adhered the sentiment strip to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the floral image from the Bloom & Grow stamp set in Pretty Peacock, stamping off 3 times, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Bloom & Grow stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink over the floral image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral image from the Bloom & Grow stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the envelope front stamping off once.  I adhered a panel of Perennial Essence DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Lovely Is The Day Thank You Card

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started off.

For today I have a super simple card that is out of my comfort zone.  I wanted to do something different than my normal cards.  Here’s my card.

I started with a small panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the single flower image from the Stampin’ Up Lovely Is The Day Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the watermark flower image from the Lovely is the Day stamp set on top of the flower in Terracotta Tile Ink.  I stamped the watermark leaf image from the Lovely is the Day stamp set on top of the leaves in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I adhered the artwork to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail.

I adhered the matted artwork to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a stitched rectangle frame using the 3rd and 5th Stitched Rectangle Dies in Terracotta Tile cardstock.  I adhered the frame on an angle over the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added 2 Pretty Peacock and 2 Terracotta Tile 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the single flower image from the Lovely is the Day stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink stamping off once in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Lovely is the Day stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink over the top of the flower image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Terracotta Tile mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the vine image from the Lovely is the Day stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the watermark image of the leaves from the Lovely is the Day stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink.  I stamped the single flower image from the Lovely is the Day stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink 3 times across the envelope flap and stamped the watermarks the same as I did for the card.

Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Birthday Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was your weekend?  Did anyone do anything exciting?

For today’s card I used a few different stamp sets, a couple punches and dies.  Take a look.

The colors for my card were inspired by The Color Throwdown Challenge #552.  Here are their colors.

I also joined in with the Flower Challenge #34.  Here is their theme.

I started by adhering a panel of Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper in Smoky Slate to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped 6 of the flower images from the Stampin’ Up Floral Essence Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink on a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock.  I punched the flowers out using my Perennial Flower Punch and adhered 2 of the punched flowers together to make a total of 3 flowers.  I added a little Wink of Stella in the center of each flower.  I punched 3 leaves out of Silver Foil Sheet using my Leaf Punch.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Stampin’ Up New Wonders Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate in on the largest circle I cut from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the circle to the largest scalloped circle which I cut from the Layering Circles Dies in Smoky Slate cardstock.  I arranged the flowers the way I wanted them on the circle and adhered the 2 end ones using Glue Dots and the center one using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the Silver Foil Leaves under the flowers using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few Pearls Basic Jewels.

On the inside I stamped another one of the flower images from the Floral Essence stamp set on a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Smoky Slate Ink.  I stamped one of the flowers off once and the other 2 full strength.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blushing Bride mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Floral Essence stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Neutrals 6X6 DSP in Smoky Slate to the envelope front.

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone doing today?  I got to spend a couple hours in my craft room last night during the storm we had.  I love when I get some quality time stamping and what better time than when it’s storming outside.

For today’s card I did very little stamping and mostly die cutting.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with a couple challenges today.  First off is CAS(E) This Sketch challenge #330.  Here is their sketch.

Next I played along with Color My Heart Color Dare #351  Theirs is a TicTacToe challenge. I went diagonally from the bottom left up to top right. Here is their challenge.

I also joined in with Just Us Girls Challenge #496.  Their challenge is a Trend Week.  Here is their challenge.

I started by die cutting the Thank You Die out of Whisper White cardstock and Basic Black cardstock.  I adhered the Whisper White to the top of the Basic Black off setting it a little for a shadow effect.  I die cut a piece of Pacific Point cardstock using the Petal Labels Dies and then using my Paper Snips I cut the die cut pieces off. I embossed the Pacific Point cardstock using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  Using the Petal Labels Dies again, I cut another out of a piece of Silver Foil Sheet.   I adhered the Pacific Point panel to the top of the Silver Foil panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a Highland Heather card base I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Pocketful of Happiness Cling Stamp Set in VersaMark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Shimmer White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the layered card front to the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the die cut Thank You to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the floral image from the Pocketful of Happiness stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the top and bottom corners of a Whisper White panel.  I colored the image in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I chose not to add a sentiment on the inside so that I could write my own note.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pacific Point mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral images from the Pocketful of Happiness stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and flap.  I colored the flowers in using my Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin’ Up Abstract Impressions Thank You Card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  Hope you are all doing well today and your are having a good week.

Sometimes we get so hung up on the new items in the new 2019-2020 catalog that we forget about carry over sets.  For today’s card I used one of the carry over sets,  the Stampin’ Up Abstract Impressions Photopolymer Stamp Set.  Take a look.

I started by adhering a panel of Flirty Flamingo Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series to a Granny Apple Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a strip of Soft Sea Foam cardstock across the center of the card.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the stem images from the Abstract Impressions stamp set in Granny Apple Green and Soft Sea Foam Inks.  I stamped the first part of the flower image from the Abstract Impressions stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink stamping off once.  I stamped the second step of the flower image from the Abstract Impressions stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink.  I cut the artwork out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

I curved the sentiment from the Abstract Impressions stamp set on one of my blocks and stamped it in Granny Apple Green Ink on the top of the circle.  One of the great things about Photopolymer stamps is that you can change the shape of them very easily.  I stamped the small butterfly from the Stampin’ Up Butterfly Gala Photopolymer Stamp Set in Granny Apple Green Ink on a scrap of Soft Sea Foam card stock and punched it out using the Butterfly Duet Punch.  I stamped the butterfly body from the Butterfly Gala stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the punched butterfly. I stamped the butterfly antenna from the Butterfly Gala stamp set on the artwork in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink then adhered the butterfly to the artwork using a Glue Dot.   I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the stems and flowers from the Abstract Impressions stamp set, across the bottom of a Whisper White panel, the same as I did for the artwork on the card front.  I stamped the sentiment from the Abstract Impressions stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink above the flowers on the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Soft Sea Foam mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Granny Apple Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stems and flowers from the Abstract Impressions stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of Granny Apple Green Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Free As A Bird Thank You Card

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started off?  Before I get started, don’t forget to check out my ordering special down below.  There’s less than a week to take advantage of it.

For today’s card I used a few different techniques, Embossing, Masking, Layering, Coloring, you get the drift.  Here’s my card.

I started by stamping the larger bird from the Stampin’ Up Free As A Bird Cling Stamp Set on a Whisper White panel in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the flowers and the leaves from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on top of the panel using the Masking Technique.  I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on an angle on the top of the Whisper White panel.  I colored the bird, flowers and leaves in using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork to a Pool Party mat using Snail.

I adhered 2 panels of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper onto Pool Party Mats using Snail.  I embossed my Pool Party card front using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder to give a little background texture.

I adhered the 2 matted DSP panels to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted artwork on top of the DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the bird from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel stamping off 4 times.  I stamped the sentiment from the Free As A Bird stamp set over the top of the bird.  I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Free As A Bird stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the corners of the Whisper White panel.  I colored the flowers and leaves in using my Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the bird, flowers and leaves from the Free As A Bird stamp set on the envelope front in Early Espresso Ink and colored them in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of  Bird Ballad DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin Up Beautiful You Birthday Card

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  I had to work all weekend, but Saturday night we went to a Somerset Patriots baseball game and had a bonus since it was a fireworks night.  I haven’t been to a game in a while and it was a lot of fun.  The ball field is only about 10 minutes from my house.  The fireworks afterwards were a lot better than I expected

For today’s card I made a pretty quick one for you using one of my all time favorite sets.  Here’s my card.

I absolutely love these colors together.  These are the colors from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #318 which I played along with.

My design came from the Fab Friday Challenge #167 which I also played along with.  Here is their sketch.

I started with a Petal Pink card front and embossed it using my Eyelet Lace Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up Beautiful You Cling Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the water mark image from the Beautiful You stamp set on top of the image of the woman in Mint Macaron Ink.  I took a strip of Calypso Coral cardstock and cut it out using my Stitched Lace Dies and then adhered it to the back of the Whisper White panel using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the embossed card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue

On a panel of Calypso Coral cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful You stamp set in VersaMark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the
Stitched Nested Label Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 3 Pearl Basic Jewels to the top of the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the dancing woman image from the Beautiful You stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off twice, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful You stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on top of the dancing woman image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a  Mint Macaron mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the woman image from the Beautiful You stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped over the woman image with the water mark image from the Beautiful You stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink.  I adhered a panel of petal pink Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper in petal pink to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Everything Amazing Birthday Card

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How are you doing today?  The weekend is almost here again, hope you are starting to make some fun plans.

For today’s card a friend of mine asked me to make a card for a 50th birthday.  Here’s what I came up with.

I joined in with Sunday Stamps Challenge #208.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with TGIF Challenge #219.  Here are their colors.

I started by embossing a panel of Purple Posy card stock using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder.  I then took a piece of the Seaside Spray Scalloped Lined Ribbon and cut it in half length wise.  I adhered a piece to the top and bottom of the embossed panel using Snail.  I adhered the embossed panel to a 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper Rococo Rose card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered the DSP card front to a Rococo Rose card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Everything Amazing Photopolymer Stamp Set in VersaMark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I stamped the 2 smaller sentiment from the Everything Amazing stamp set in Rococo Rose Ink on the lines from the large sentiment.  I stamped the floral image from Stampin’ Up Pocketful of Happiness Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the top corner of the rectangle.  I colored the floral image in using my Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added 3 gold Metallic Pearls.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in VersaMark Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I immediately sprinkled it with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I stamped the floral images from the Pocketful of Happiness stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the top and bottom 2 corners and colored them in using my Purple Posy,  Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Rococo Rose card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card, I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the floral image from the Pocketful of Happiness stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a panel of the 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.
