Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug For Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. I’m continuing with my quick and easy cards for this week.  My card today is for my daughter who was just accepted to the Forensic Chemistry Program at Kean University.  I am so proud of her and I wanted to make a card to let her know and congratulate her.   Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

My colors were inspired by Inspire. Create Challenge #058.  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a panel of Cherry Cobbler Regals 6″ X 6″ Designer Series Paper to a Whisper White card base.

I stamped the flower and butterfly image from the Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Host Cling Stamp Set In Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the ladybug image in using my Light Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the leaves and stem of the flower in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the flower in using my Aqua Painter and Blushing Bride Ink.  On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the same ladybug image from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I only colored in the left wing using my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend Markers. I fussy cut the wing out using my Paper Snips. I adhered the wing to the artwork using a Stampin’ Dimensional to give a little extra dimension to the ladybug.  I added a little Clear Wink of Stella to the flower center to give a little sparkle.  I adhered the artwork to a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock using Snail.

On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I sponged the edges of the strip using my Cherry Cobbler Ink and a Sponge Dauber.  I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Cherry Cobbler Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Blushing Bride Ink, stamping off once, to the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the ladybug image from the Little Ladybug stamp set on the bottom of the panel  in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored it in using my Light Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Strong & Beautiful Cling Stamp Set over the flower image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blushing Bride mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Snail.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower and ladybug images from the Little Ladybug stamp set on the envelope front and colored them in using my Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Cherry Cobbler Regals 6″ X 6″ DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Breathtaking Bouquet Sneak Peek

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How has everyone’s week been?  The weekend is almost upon us, is anyone making plans.  By the time you read this I will probably be elbow deep in butter, sugar and flour.  I’m starting my cookie mixing today.  I’ll be mixing all day and tomorrow and Friday I’ll be baking all day.  I will actually be getting a little bit of help this year.  My daughter doesn’t have as many in person finals, so she will be by my side for part of the time helping with the mixing and shaping of cookie dough.

If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for taking the time to stop by. This week we had a Color Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  I have another sneak peek for you today using another new stamp set from the New Mini Catalog.  This is the set I won with Prize Patrol at OnStage in November.  I’ve made a Triple Time Card for you using it.   Here’s my card using our colors.

Here are the colors we had for this week.  I chose Gorgeous Grape for my choice color.

I started by layering the 3 Whisper White panels on top of one another making sure to center them with one another.  Using my Stamparatus I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! Breathtaking Bouquet Cling Stamp Set (available Jan 3, 2020) in Smoky Slate Ink on all 3 panels at once.

I adhered each of the pieces of artwork to their matching Gorgeous Grape mats using Snail.  I adhered the smallest matted piece to the top of the medium matted piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a piece of the Silver 3/8″ Metallic Edged Ribbon around the artwork and tied a bow.  I adhered the largest artwork panel to the Gorgeous Grape card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the other panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Vellum Cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the soon to retire Stampin’ Up! Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gorgeous Grape Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Glue in the corners of the rectangle.  I added a few Gorgeous Grape Noble Peacock Rhinestones to the sentiment and the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the new Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set (available Jan 3, 2020), in Gorgeous Grape Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the top part of the Breathtaking Bouquet stamp on the bottom of the panel in Smoky Slate Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Smoky Slate mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Gorgeous Grape card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I adhered a thin strip of the Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the bottom front of the envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month and you know what that means, Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Celebrate”. We can interpret this any way that we’d like.

For today’s card I’m giving you a little sneak peek of an upcoming Sale-A-Bration stamp set.  I knew I wanted this set the first time I saw it at OnStage.

My colors were inspired by Fab Friday Challenge #178.  Here are their colors.

I played along with Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #329 for my design.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Birthday To You Cling Stamp Set, (new Sale-A-Bration item starting January 3, 2020), in Mossy Meadow Ink on the bottom of a Pear Pizzazz card front.  I embossed the Pear Pizzazz card front using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.

I wrapped a piece of the Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon around the card front then adhered the card front to a Merry Merlot mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted card front to a Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the cake image from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink .  I colored the cake in using my Mossy Meadow and Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Merry Merlot and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.  I fussy cut the cake using my Paper Snips and adhered the cake to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the flower centers on the cake.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the top of the cake image from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set on the bottom corner of the panel and colored it in the same as I did on the card front.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the cake image from the Happy Birthday To You stamp set on the front of the envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning and Happy Thanksgiving my fellow stampers.  Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  By the time you read this I will have my turkey on the grill (yes we barbeque our turkey) and will be doing the 2nd step of my homemade pumpkin crescent rolls (a lot of rising with them) and the Macy’s Day Parade will be on in the background.  The Christmas season doesn’t officially start in my house until Santa arrives in the parade.  Cranberry sauce made , stuffing made √, pies made √, sweet potatoes prepared and ready to go in the oven √.  Things are moving along in a timely matter and we will have a nice family dinner with my nieces and nephews over.   Unfortunately we are missing a lot of our family members that have passed on, but I am SO thankful for the family that I have.  I could never imagine not having them in my life.

If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for taking the time to stop by. This week we had a Color Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s my card using our colors.

Here are our colors for this week.

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #249.

I also joined in with the Always Fun Challenge #138.  There theme is ‘Anything Goes’.

I started by cutting a scalloped circle in the center of a Night of Navy card front using the largest scallop from the Layering Circles Dies.  I embossed the Night of Navy panel using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Copper Foil mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then I adhered it to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the 2nd from the largest star out of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Stitched Stars Dies.  I cut a small detailed star and the flourish pieces out of Copper Foil Sheets using the Stitched Stars Dies.  To make the star look 3D I scored from each point to the opposite indent using my Paper Trimmer score blade.  I then folded on each of the score lines and that made it pop up.  I adhered the small copper star in the center of the Very Vanilla star using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the star to the center of a Night of Navy circle, which I cut using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the copper flourish pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue at every indent of the star onto the Night of Navy circle.  I adhered the layered circle in the center of the scallop circle on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I made the strip into a banner and adhered it to a Copper Foil banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink, stamping off once, on either side of the sentiment and on the bottom corners of the panel.  I added a couple of the stars cut out of Copper Foil from the Stitched Stars Dies on either side of the sentiment.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the small cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the bottom of the envelope front.  I stamped a larger cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink all over the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty and Joy for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by embossing Cherry Cobbler card front using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I sponged the top with Whisper White Craft Ink to give it a little shading.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flowerpot image from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the flowerpot.  I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the tree trunk in Shaded Spruce Ink.  I cut the artwork out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set again in Shaded Spruce Ink and fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  My upline made a similar card last week and she inspired me to stamp the holly separate and fussy cut it.  I adhered the fussy cut holly to the stamped image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the holly and a Star Design Element to the top of the tree.

On a strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Cling Host Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a strip of a Copper Foil Sheet using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment over the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink over the tree trunk.  I stamped the berry image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink over the holly.  I stamped the star image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on the top of the tree.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the holly tree image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card.  It’s hard to see, but I embossed the envelope flap using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Color Challenge and the colors screamed rustic to me.  Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s my card using our colors.

Here are our colors for this week.

My design was inspired by the Paper Craft Cres Challenge #358.  Here is their sketch.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Rustic Retreat Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on the top of the Crumb Cake card front.  I embossed the  Crumb Cake card front using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped a small panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the Stampin’ Up Buffalo Check Cling Background Stamp in Early Espresso Ink.  I cut the panel out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I stamped the cabin image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a small Crumb Cake panel.  I cut the image out using a smaller Stitched Rectangle Die.  I adhered the artwork to the Buffalo Check stamped Cherry Cobbler panel using Snail.  I stamped the bear image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock and fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the bear to the corner of the artwork using a Glue Dot.

I adhered a strip of Early Espresso cardstock to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a piece of the 3/8″ Magnolia Lane Linen Ribbon with White Edge on the Early Espresso strip using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals, making sure to add a couple Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the bear to secure it.

On the inside I stamped the cabin image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel stamping off 3 times.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Boughs Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink over the cabin image.  I stamped the bear and deer image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the tree image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink along the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the cabin and bear image from the Rustic Retreat stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

If you’ve hopped over from Mary Deatherage’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays”. We can interpret this any way that we’d like.

For today’s card I used the Stampin’ Up So Many Stars Bundle.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a Whisper White card front to my Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a star out of the center of both pieces of cardstock using the Stitched Stars Dies.

On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merry Merlot Ink.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Merry Merlot  mat using Snail.

I adhered the matted sentiment to the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the inside on a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped a large star image and a small star image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink.  I cut both stars out using the Stitched Stars Dies.  I also cut out a medium and small star from Champagne Foil Sheet using the Stitched Stars Dies.  I adhered the medium foil star to the large Whisper White star using a Glue Dot, not lining up the points.  I adhered the small foil and Whisper White stars together using a Glue Dot, not lining up the points.  I adhered the small stars to the medium stars using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of a Merry Merlot panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the stars to the center of the Merry Merlot panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large and small star images from the So Many Stars stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink on the envelope front and envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now be sure to hit Previous to hop back to Mary Deatherage’s blog or hit Next to head over to Karen Finkle’s blog. You can also click on each of the names and hop around that way. Happy Hopping!!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week was a fun Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects.  Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Silver Foil Sheet card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Night of Navy cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Silver Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a Silver Foil Sheet banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the scroll stars using the Stitched Stars Dies out of Silver Glimmer Paper.  I snipped the scroll in half so that I could arrange it with the banner so that some was on top and some on the bottom.

I adhered the scroll to the card front using Glue Dots where the banner would cover.  I adhered the sentiment banner over the scroll using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the stars from the scroll, scattered around on the card front, using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink around the sentiment, stamping off once.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the star cluster image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Basic Gray Ink along the bottom of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Wrapped In Plaid Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Happy Halloween my fellow stampers!  It’s time for our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  This week we have a color challenge.  I can’t wait to see what everyone created with these colors.  Here is what I came up with.

Here are our colors for this week.

My card played along with the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge #175.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the snowman image from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set.  I stamped the main part of the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, the tree and pompom on his hat I colored with my Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Marker and the tree trunk I colored with my Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Marker.  I colored the snowman’s nose, hat and scarf in using my Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the stitched circle to a scalloped circle cut from my Layering Circles Dies in Real Red Glimmer Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and a Glue Dot.  I adhered a strip of Real Red Glimmer Paper under the sentiment using Snail.  I added a few Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Snowman Season stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Coastal Cabana Ink and once over the sentiment in Coastal Cabana Ink stamping off once.  I added 2 thin strips of the Let It Snow Specialty DSP to either side of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the snowman image from the Snowman Season stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored it in the same as I did for the artwork.  I adhered a panel of the Let It Snow Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.
