Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning and Happy New Year’s Eve my stamping friends, welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. Is everyone ready to say good-bye to 2020? I sure am. This will be a year to remember for sure, a different kind of year. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a theme challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects.
Here is our theme for this week.

Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Bundle for my card today along with the Ice Cream Corner Designer Series Paper.

I started by adhering a Pool Party card front to a Bermuda Bay card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a panel of the Ice Cream Corner DSP to a Bermuda Bay mat using Stampin’ Seal and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the ice cream cone image from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cinnamon Cider Ink, stamping off once. I stamped the waffle image on top of the cone image in Cinnamon Cider Ink and cut the cone out using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch. I stamped the ice cream image from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set 3 times on the panel of Whisper White cardstock, once in Petal Pink Ink, once in Bumblebee Ink stamped off once and once in Soft Seafoam Ink. I cut all the images out using the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch. I stamped the sprinkle image from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the Petal Pink ice cream.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the splatter image from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Pool Party Ink multiple times on the panel. I adhered the ice cream cone to the panel using Glue Dots. I adhered the Soft Seafoam ice cream on top of the cone using Glue Dots. I adhered the Bumblebee ice cream on top of the Soft Seafoam using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the Petal Pink on the top using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the sprinkle image from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set around the sentiment in Pool Party Ink. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Bermuda Bay card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the splatter image from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set in Pool Party Ink along the bottom front of the envelope. I adhered a panel of the Ice Cream Corner DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! A Touch Of Ink Sneak Peek CAS

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Happy New Year’s Eve Eve. Well, it’s almost time to say good bye to 2020. I have to admit, I’m not going to miss this year. There were a few highlights for me, one was after 14 years we finally went on a family vacation to Disney. I’m hoping 2021 will be a healthy year for all and we can get past this Covid and go back to our ‘normal’ lives. How about you, what are you all hoping for?

For today’s card I went out of my comfort zone a little bit, every once in a while I like to do that. Everyone knows I love my colors. Sometimes I use 2 or 3 and other times I used 5 or 6. Well, not today. Today is Black and White. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! A Touch of Ink Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today. This set is a free Sale-A-Bration item with a qualifying purchase. I also used the True Love Designer Series Paper, but didn’t add color this time.

I started by embossing a panel of Whisper White cardstock using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder. I adhered a panel of the True Love DSP to the right side of the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the humming bird, butterfly and sentiment from the A Touch of Ink stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the images out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I adhered the die cut images to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Matte Black Dots to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happiest of Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I adhered 2 strips of the True Love DSP to either side of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered The Whisper White panel to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the butterfly and humming bird images from the A Touch of Ink stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of True Love DSP to the envelope flap.

WHISPER WHITE CARDSTOCK PRODUCTS- AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!

Stampin’ Up! Hey Girlfriend Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Are you all ready for another short week? I know I am. I’m really looking forward to next week when I can get back to my ‘normal’ routine. I feel like I have been in overdrive for the past 3 weeks. I need some catch up time and re-organizing time. Anyone else with me on that one?

I have another sneak peek for you using a really cute set coming in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog on January 5th. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Hey Girlfriend Cling Stamp Set for my card today along with some Rainbow Glimmer Paper.

I started by embossing a Magenta Madness card front using the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Magenta Madness card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a panel of the Rainbow Glimmer Paper to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped one of the girl images, the dog image and the balloon image from the Hey Girlfriend stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the images in using my Blackberry Bliss, Bronze, Crumb Cake, Ivory, Magenta Madness and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers. On a small scrap of Rainbow Glimmer Paper I stamped the girl image from Hey Girlfriend stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink, making sure to get mainly the dress. I colored the belt of the dress in using my Magenta Madness Stampin’ Blends Marker, fussy cut the dress using my Paper Snips and adhered it to the stamped image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut the artwork out using the largest oval from the Layering Ovals Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Hey Girlfriend stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment into a banner using the Pick A Banner Punch. I made a banner from a thin strip of Mango Melody cardstock and adhered the sentiment to the top using Glue Dots. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Happiest of Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the balloon image from the Hey Girlfriend stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on either side of the sentiment and colored the balloons in using my Magenta Madness and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Mango Melody mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Magenta Madness card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped one of the girl images from the Hey Girlfriend stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image in using my Bronze, Ivory, Magenta Madness and Mango Melody Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Artistry Blooms DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. Stampin’ Up! Oh Snap Sneak Peek

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s Christmas? I had a very quiet one this year, it was just my husband, daughter and I at home. We usually have all the family over for Christmas Eve, but with everything going on right now, I felt better with no one coming over. I hope you were all able to spend some time with loved ones in one way or another. Was Santa good to all of you? Maybe some new stamp sets or DSP.

I have a sneak peek for you of an upcoming set from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I saw this set and my little nephew loves alligators and crocodiles so I just had to get it. It’s the Stampin’ Up! Oh Snap Photopolymer Stamp Set. Here’s my card for today.

My colors are from the Fab Friday Challenge #204. Here are their colors.

I played along with Crazy 4 Challenges #565 using sketch #518. Here is their challenge.

I started by stamping the crocodile, fish and frog images from the Oh Snap stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock. I stamped the leaf image from the Oh Snap stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the images in using my Poppy Parade & Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers and my Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Markers.

I stamped the sentiments from the Oh Snap stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on the panel on top and center of the crocodile.

I adhered a panel of Pear Pizzazz Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut the smallest circle from the Layering Circles Dies out of a scrap of Poppy Parade cardstock and adhered it in the top corner of the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a piece of the Seaside Spray 1/4″ Metallic Ribbon to the right side using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the crocodile and fish images from the Oh Snap stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White panel. I stamped the sentiments from the Oh Snap stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink on the panel. I colored the images in using my Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Poppy Parade mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. Since I am hand delivering the card I stamped the whole crocodile image from the Oh Snap stamp set on the front of the envelope along with the fish image. I colored the images in using my Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Subtle DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s week starting out? The next 2 weeks will be short working weeks for most. I know I’m looking forward to having Thursday and Friday off this week. I’ve gotten most of my cookie trays done, so I’m going to deliver a few this morning before going in to work. I’ll deliver the rest tomorrow.

For today’s card I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets Bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and mixed it with the Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Bundle from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #466. Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Playful Pets Designer Series Paper to a Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a small panel of Playful Pets DSP using Stampin’ Seal over the 1st panel.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the dog bowl image from the Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I added a tiny amount of color around the edges of the bowl using my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker then used the Color Lifter to remove most of the color. I embossed the panel using my Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the dog image from the Pampered Pets stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the dog in using my Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Pets Dies and adhered it to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the panel to a Real Red mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Cling Stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Messages Die. This bundle is 1 stamp with many sentiments on it and 1 die that cuts out all the sentiments at once and will be available January 5, 2021. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple of the Playful Pets Trinkets, one to the sentiment and one on the dog.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Pampered Pets stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the dog and bowl images from the Pampered Pets stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored the image in using my Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the dog and bowl images from the Pampered Pets stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the front of the envelope. I colored the image in using my Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Playful Pets DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!

What does this mean for you?

With Whisper White going out of production, this means a number of Whisper White products will be affected. Below is a list of all products that will be replaced with our new Basic White cardstock. These items are now available while supplies last with an order limit of 2 per item per order.

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Celebrate Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers. How was everyone’s weekend? Did you get all your shopping done and everything wrapped? I finished my baking, I’ll be putting trays together tonight. I think I’ve picked up everything I have to gift wise, now I just have to wrap. I’ve got Christmas dinner all planned out. I’m as ready as I’m going to be.

For today’s card I played with a Product Medley from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Product Medley for my card today. I’m really loving this medley. It’s such a fun group of products.

I started by cutting a panel of the Flowering Cactus Designer Series Paper in to 3 strips and adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a panel of Highland Heather cardstock. I adhered the artwork to a Highland Heather mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I wrapped a piece of the Calypso Coral Twine around the panel and tied a small bow. I adhered a panel of Flowering Cactus DSP to a Highland Heather card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the sentiment and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the cactus image from the Flowering Cactus stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink, stamping off once, on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the cactus image from the Flowering Cactus stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Flowering Cactus DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season Birthday for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? I can’t believe that Christmas is just 1 week away. I’ve mailed my cards and I’ve got my cookie batters mixed and by the time you read this I will have probably baked off a few of them. Shopping and wrapping is another story. I’ll get it done, I hope.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you very much. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card that I made.

I used the Stampin’ Up Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and the Stampin’ Up! Approaching Perfection Cling Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog coming January 5, 2021. I played along with Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #260. The theme is ‘Snowman/Men’.

I started by adhering a panel of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of the Misty Moonlight 1/4″ 2020-2022 In-Color Ribbon around the card front and tied a knot. I added a Glue Dot to hold the knot in place.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the snowman image from the Snowman Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink. I colored the nose, scarf and hat in using my Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Approaching Perfection stamp set on the top of the panel in Misty Moonlight Ink. I adhered the artwork to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the overlapping card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added some Adhesive-
Backed Snowflakes where the stamped snowflakes are. I adhered the small card front to the back of the card base, centering in, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Approaching Perfection stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped another one of the snowman images from the Snowman Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, over the small card base tab.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the small snowman image from the Snowman Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Snowflake Splendor DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Posted For You for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today? It’s very cold here. We got quite a bit of snow yesterday and it’s continuing into today. Perfect day for me to be baking. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a color challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects.
Here are our colors for this week

Here’s my card using these colors.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Posted For You Cling Stamp Set for my card today. My design is from Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #486. Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a panel of Pool Party cardstock using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the floral image from the Posted For You stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock. I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the round sentiment from the Posted For You stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the same panel of Whisper White cardstock. I cut the images out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. Using the Layering Circles Die, I cut 2 circles from a panel of Flowers For Every Season 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper. I cut 4 scalloped circles from a panel of Early Espresso cardstock matching the sizes of the circles, using the Layering Circles Dies. I adhered the circles to the scalloped circles using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Posted For You stamp set in Versamark Ink on a strip of Misty Moonlight cardstock. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a small piece of 1/4″ Old Olive Ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack using a small amount of Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the 2 stamped circles to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 2 DSP circles to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the floral image from the Posted For You stamp set in Pool Party Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment. I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the floral image from the Posted For You stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the front of the envelope. I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Flowers For Every Season DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Birthday Sneak Peek

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers. How was everyone’s weekend? I finally had time to sit down with write out all my Christmas cards. I was doing it at 1am, but I got them done. Who needs sleep this time of year anyway?

I have a sneak peek for you today from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Here’s my cardl

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set and the new Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper.

I started by adhering a panel of the new Fine Art Floral DSP to a Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I embossed a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock using the new Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered a panel of Fine Art Floral DSP to the embossed panel on an angle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a piece of Fine Art 3/8″ Ribbon to the angled DSP using a little Stampin’ Seal.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the 2-step flower image from the Art Gallery stamp set in Bumblebee Ink. I stamped the detailed image full strength and the fill image stamped off once. I stamped the sentiment from the Art Gallery stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink over the flower image then cut the image out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I cut the larger die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies from a panel of Bumblebee cardstock. I adhered the stamped image to the top of the Bumblebee die using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Gilded Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow Photopolymer Stamp Set in Merry Merlot Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the 2-step flower image from the Art Gallery stamp set in Bumblebee Ink. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Bumblebee mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Merry Merlot card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I adhered a strip of Fine Art Floral DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Darling Donkey Sneak Peek

Good Sunday morning my fellow stampers. How is everyone’s weekend going? I have to work again today, but at least I don’t go in until noon.

I have a sneak peek for you today of a Sale-A-Bration item that will be available January 5, 2021. I used the adorable Stampin’ Up! Darling Donkey Cling Stamp Set. Here is my card for today.

My design is from the Fab Friday Challenge #203. Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Terracotta Tile card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I embossed a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock using the new Painted Texture 3 D Embossing Folder (available January 5, 2021). On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the donkey image from the Darling Donkey stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I colored the image in using my Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Ivory and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the star image around the donkey in Pretty Peacock Ink and cut the image out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiments from the Darling Donkey stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.

I adhered the circle to the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a piece of the Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon to the bottom of the artwork using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday Cling Stamp Set in the center of a Whisper White panel in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the stars on either side of the sentiment in Pretty Peacock Ink. I adhered a strip of the 2019-2021 In-Color DSP to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I stamped another one of the donkey images from the Darling Donkey stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored it in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Terracotta Tile card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the donkey image from the Darling Donkey stamp set on the envelope front in Early Espresso Ink. I colored the image in using my Cajun Craze, Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Ivory and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of 2019-2021 In-Color DSP to the envelope flap.

WHISPER WHITE CARDSTOCK PRODUCTS- AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!

What does this mean for you?
