We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Posted on by

Good Thursday morning and Merry Christmas Eve my stamping friends, welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. Is everyone ready for the big day? I’m as ready as I’m going to be this year. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a sketch challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects.
Here is our sketch for this week.

Here’s my card using the sketch.

I used the Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Bundle for my card today.

I started by coloring a panel of the new True Love Designer Series Paper (coming in the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog) using my Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the panel using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I adhered a panel of the True Love DSP to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the stitched rectangle panel to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Seal.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Sentimental Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut it out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered a piece of 1/4″ Old Olive Ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack with Glue Dots. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Cherry Cobbler Rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestones Basic Jewels.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Onate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the flower from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set on the bottom of the panel and colored them in using my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a strip of the True Love DSP to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I adhered a panel of the colored True Love DSP to the envelope front and the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s week starting out? The next 2 weeks will be short working weeks for most. I know I’m looking forward to having Thursday and Friday off this week. I’ve gotten most of my cookie trays done, so I’m going to deliver a few this morning before going in to work. I’ll deliver the rest tomorrow.

For today’s card I pulled out the Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets Bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and mixed it with the Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Bundle from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #466. Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Playful Pets Designer Series Paper to a Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a small panel of Playful Pets DSP using Stampin’ Seal over the 1st panel.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the dog bowl image from the Stampin’ Up! Pampered Pets Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I added a tiny amount of color around the edges of the bowl using my Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker then used the Color Lifter to remove most of the color. I embossed the panel using my Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the dog image from the Pampered Pets stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the dog in using my Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Pets Dies and adhered it to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the panel to a Real Red mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Messages Cling Stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Messages Die. This bundle is 1 stamp with many sentiments on it and 1 die that cuts out all the sentiments at once and will be available January 5, 2021. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple of the Playful Pets Trinkets, one to the sentiment and one on the dog.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Pampered Pets stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the dog and bowl images from the Pampered Pets stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored the image in using my Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Real Red card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the dog and bowl images from the Pampered Pets stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the front of the envelope. I colored the image in using my Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of the Playful Pets DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

WHISPER WHITE CARDSTOCK PRODUCTS- AVAILABLE WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

Stampin’ Up! announced this information related to the Whisper White paper products late last evening:

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. We love it and we know you love it, too. We are sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing our Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, we weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to us and we can no longer offer our Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of our other cardstocks, this only affects Whisper White.

We know Whisper White has a huge fan base; we’re big fans, too! And we are crushed that it’s going away. Even though this decision was out of our hands, rest assured that we jumped right into action to find the best replacement paper possible. We have dedicated many hours to source and test alternative cardstock options from several suppliers to find the perfect fit that still maintains the Stampin’ Up! quality you know and trust. We are happy to share that we have found a winner for our new cardstock, Basic White!

The quality of our new Basic White was thoroughly tested by our quality assurance and product teams. It also tested very well with demonstrators and concept artists who gave it a huge thumbs up. We believe in the quality of the new Basic White cardstock and we know it will become your new crafting staple!

What does this mean for you?

With Whisper White going out of production, this means a number of Whisper White products will be affected. Below is a list of all products that will be replaced with our new Basic White cardstock. These items are now available while supplies last with an order limit of 2 per item per order.

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Celebrate Sneak Peek

Posted on by

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers. How was everyone’s weekend? Did you get all your shopping done and everything wrapped? I finished my baking, I’ll be putting trays together tonight. I think I’ve picked up everything I have to gift wise, now I just have to wrap. I’ve got Christmas dinner all planned out. I’m as ready as I’m going to be.

For today’s card I played with a Product Medley from the upcoming January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Product Medley for my card today. I’m really loving this medley. It’s such a fun group of products.

I started by cutting a panel of the Flowering Cactus Designer Series Paper in to 3 strips and adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a panel of Highland Heather cardstock. I adhered the artwork to a Highland Heather mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I wrapped a piece of the Calypso Coral Twine around the panel and tied a small bow. I adhered a panel of Flowering Cactus DSP to a Highland Heather card base using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the sentiment and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Cactus Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the cactus image from the Flowering Cactus stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink, stamping off once, on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Highland Heather mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the cactus image from the Flowering Cactus stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Flowering Cactus DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you liked my card. This Product Medley will be available January 5, 2021. It’s such a great group of products, you might just want to grab it for your card making. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Cards

Posted on by
6

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? My cookies are all baked, next step is to make up trays that I will be delivering this week. I’ll get those done between tonight and tomorrow, I have to work all day today.

Today I’d like to share some gorgeous cards I received from some fellow team members and friends. I am honored to be a part of a very talented team and I love to share their creations in place of my own.

I received this adorable card from my Upline and team member Jaimie Babarczy. I just love the snowy house scene and her coloring is always so perfect.
I received this stunning easel card from my team member Rosie Kean. I love the colors she used and the shining stars.
I received this gorgeous card from my team member Lori Callies. I just love all the swirls of stars leading to the beautiful center star.
I received this beauty from my fellow team member Terry Lynn Bright. I just love the holly and the traditional Christmas Colors.
This beautiful card is from my team member Clara Shore. I just love this traditional tree, it reminds me of the tree we had growing up.
This beautiful card is from a former Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and friend Charlene Tackvic. I used to attend classes with Charlene and she taught me a lot of what I know today. I just love her design and layering.
This adorable card is from my good friend Barbara Dalessio. We used to attend classes at Charlene’s together and she comes to my classes (when I had them). These stockings are just too cute.
This pretty card is from my team member Paula Vincent. Love the bold sentiment on the front edged with the candy cane border.
My team had an ornament exchange and along with Paula’s card I received this gorgeous hand made ornament. She used the Stampin’ Up! Snow Front stamp set and stamped & colored on one side of the wooden ornament.
On the other side of the wooden ornament Paula stamped using the Stampin’ Up! Waterfront stamp set. I fell in love with this ornament the minute I opened it. I love the snow and snowmen, but I also really love the beach. It was a perfect fit for me and she didn’t really know my taste.

I hope you enjoyed my sharing of the Christmas cards with you. I think homemade cards are my absolute favorite. I know how much time and effort goes into making one so I really appreciate them and save everyone. If you would like to know how to make your own cards and project, please feel free to contact me. I’d be more than happy to help you out. If you are interested in joining this awesome team that I’m on, I’d be happy to help you get started with that too. Just send me an email at creativestampingdesigns@gmail.com.

Enjoy the rest of you weekend. Happy Stamping!!

  • Whisper White 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Cardstock (124302)
  • Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (149710)

  • Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Cardstock (140272)

Our new Basic White products will become available to purchase as soon as we have them in stock. This means that some Whisper White and Basic White products may be available at the same time. Additionally, due to the nature of sourcing, some Basic White products may not be available before the Whisper White products sell out. Please know that we are working on getting these products available to you as fast as possible.

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s weekend started off? Who still has to run out shopping for Christmas? This is the last shopping weekend before the big day. I’m still baking, baking, baking!!! I’ll be at it all day today. I have to work tomorrow through Wednesday. I’m hoping to have a little energy after work to get things done. I’ll be making up my cookie trays on Monday and then it’ll be time to deliver them before Christmas, YIKES!! I’m sorry, I don’t have a card for you today, since I’ve been in the kitchen the past few days and haven’t had a chance to even look at my craft table. Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season Birthday for Fun Fold Friday

Posted on by
12

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? I can’t believe that Christmas is just 1 week away. I’ve mailed my cards and I’ve got my cookie batters mixed and by the time you read this I will have probably baked off a few of them. Shopping and wrapping is another story. I’ll get it done, I hope.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you very much. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card that I made.

I used the Stampin’ Up Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog and the Stampin’ Up! Approaching Perfection Cling Stamp Set from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog coming January 5, 2021. I played along with Cardz 4 Guyz Challenge #260. The theme is ‘Snowman/Men’.

I started by adhering a panel of the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of the Misty Moonlight 1/4″ 2020-2022 In-Color Ribbon around the card front and tied a knot. I added a Glue Dot to hold the knot in place.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the snowman image from the Snowman Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink. I colored the nose, scarf and hat in using my Just Jade, Misty Moonlight and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the sentiment from the Approaching Perfection stamp set on the top of the panel in Misty Moonlight Ink. I adhered the artwork to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the overlapping card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added some Adhesive-
Backed Snowflakes where the stamped snowflakes are. I adhered the small card front to the back of the card base, centering in, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Approaching Perfection stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped another one of the snowman images from the Snowman Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Misty Moonlight mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, over the small card base tab.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the small snowman image from the Snowman Season stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Snowflake Splendor DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Posted For You for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Posted on by
16

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today? It’s very cold here. We got quite a bit of snow yesterday and it’s continuing into today. Perfect day for me to be baking. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a color challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s awesome projects.
Here are our colors for this week

Here’s my card using these colors.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Posted For You Cling Stamp Set for my card today. My design is from Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #486. Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a panel of Pool Party cardstock using the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the floral image from the Posted For You stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock. I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the round sentiment from the Posted For You stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the same panel of Whisper White cardstock. I cut the images out using the Stitched Shapes Dies. Using the Layering Circles Die, I cut 2 circles from a panel of Flowers For Every Season 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper. I cut 4 scalloped circles from a panel of Early Espresso cardstock matching the sizes of the circles, using the Layering Circles Dies. I adhered the circles to the scalloped circles using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the Posted For You stamp set in Versamark Ink on a strip of Misty Moonlight cardstock. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the panel of Misty Moonlight cardstock to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a small piece of 1/4″ Old Olive Ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack using a small amount of Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the 2 stamped circles to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 2 DSP circles to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the floral image from the Posted For You stamp set in Pool Party Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment. I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the floral image from the Posted For You stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the front of the envelope. I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Flowers For Every Season DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today.

  • Whisper White 12″ x 12″ (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Cardstock (124302)
  • Assorted Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (149710)
  • Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes (131527)
  • Whisper White 3″ x 3″ (7.6 x 7.6 cm) Envelopes (145829)
  • Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Cardstock (100730)
  • Whisper White 8-1/2″ x 11″ Thick Cardstock (140272)
  • Whisper White Medium Envelopes (107301)

Our new Basic White products will become available to purchase as soon as we have them in stock. This means that some Whisper White and Basic White products may be available at the same time. Additionally, due to the nature of sourcing, some Basic White products may not be available before the Whisper White products sell out. Please know that we are working on getting these products available to you as fast as possible.

Updates and Christmas Decor

Posted on by

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers. We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend. This is the last weekend before Christmas. Not sure if I should scream or not. I’m running out of time once again, UGH!!! Tonight I will start prepping for my marathon cookie baking. I’ll post pictures of before I start and all the cookies when I’m done. I will be spending 3 straight days mixing and baking starting from around 8am and not stopping until around 8pm. I think the hardest part is putting all my trays together and then having to pack up all the cookies. The good thing is I’ll be stuck inside during the storm. Our latest update was 12″-20″, can’t wait to see what we get.

I don’t have a card for you today, but I do have a few pictures. As promised, I have just a few pictures of my decorations. This is only a few of them, my whole house has turned into Christmasville, but I didn’t take all the rooms.

Original Elf on the Shelf. This is well over 60 years old. I know it’s older than me. I grew up with this elf as a decoration.
My daughter says this elf is creepy.
Another antique Elf. These were all part of my childhood. It wasn’t Christmas until my mom decorated the chandelier with the elf.
My cabinet full of Santa’s and Window ornaments
Nightmare Before Christmas, Snow Globes and Studio Pieces
Lighthouses on the top, More Studio Pieces and Winnie The Pooh
We decorate with a lot of books too. These are Children Christmas Books.
More Christmas novels
I also have all the Hallmark dancing snowmen all around my living room floor
My husband has been buying me Christmas Legos for the past few years. I’ve never built Legos when I was younger and he has me building them now.
More story telling Santa’s that all interact
Our tree filled with Disney and Snoopy ornaments with a new Lego train set under it. The Lego train is Harry Potter along with all the buildings. My husband and daughter like building with Legos. The shelves are filled with tiny Christmas books and more collectable ornaments. I line all 3 flights of stairs with stuffed animals Most of these talk, dance, light up or play music.
My kitchen shelves have more interacting toys and some old ceramic Christmas mice I made when I was very young. That house actually plugs into our phones and plays music from the phone and lights flash to the music.

We also decorate our downstairs room where my craft area is too. We have a tree, more interacting toys and a lot of collectibles. My daughter has her room all decorated with a tree and shelves of Christmas animals and ornaments. My bathroom is also all decorated with. I forgot about taking a picture of outside. We have a tree in our front yard that is taller than our house and my husband gets almost to the top of it with lights. He also decorates the house and another tree in the front and back.
