Stampin’ Up! Power of Hope

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend?  It ended up being a beautiful weekend here. Did  anyone do anything fun?

For today’s card I used one of the Sale-A-Bration bundle that you can earn  with a $100 order.  I wasn’t sure I was gong to like it, but once I started playing with it I love it.  Here’s my card.

I played along with Fab Friday Color Challenge #182.   Here are their colors.

I also joined in with Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #421.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Coastal Cabana card front using the Stone 3D Embossing Folder.  This folder is only available with the stamp set as a bundle FREE with a qualifying order of $100 from Sale-A-Bration.  Using my Stamping Sponges I sponged Bermuda Bay Ink over the embossed panel to add some darker shading.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the image from the Stampin’ Up! Power Of Hope Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the image out using the Stitched Shapes Dies.  Using the Layering Squares Dies, I cut the scallop square that fit the stitched square in Merry Merlot cardstock.  I adhered the stitched square to the Merry Merlot scalloped square using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the same panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Power of Hope stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the Layering Ovals Dies.  I stamped the lantern image from the Power of Hope stamp set in Melon Mambo Ink, stamping off 3 times, over the sentiment.  Using my Layering Ovals Dies, I cut the scallop oval that matched the sentiment oval out of Merry Merlot cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment oval to the scallop oval using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Melon Mambo Glitter Enamel Dot to the sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Power of Hope stamp set in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tree image from the Power of Hope stamp set over the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, stamping off 4 times.  I stamped the bottom image from the Power of Hope stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored the image in using my Melon Mambo and Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the images from the Power of Hope stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front and colored the one image in using my Melon Mambo and Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Markers.  I stamped the lantern image from the Power of Hope stamp set across the envelope flap in Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo Ink stamping twice before reinking the stamp.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card.  Don’t forget, this Power of Hope Bundle is available as a Sale-A-Bration item FREE with a qualifying order of $100 or more.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Poppy Moments

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is your week starting off?  Tonight is my Stamp Camp Class so I have another pretty easy card since I’m not sure what kind of stampers the new ladies are.  Here’s my card.

I started by using the splatter image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set and stamped the Pool Party card front using Pool Party Ink.  I stamped the 2 poppy images and the leaf image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using my Painted Labels Dies.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies making sure that the sentiment was near the top of the circle.  I cut the swirly circle  out of Sahara Sand cardstock using the Painted Labels Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the center of the swirly circle using Snail.  I adhered the flowers and leaves to the bottom of the sentiment using Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and I adhered the card front to the Sahara Sand card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Love What You Do Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the poppy  and leaf image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Pool Party Ink all around the edges of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pool Party mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the splatter image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Pool Party Ink all around the front of the envelope.  I stamped the poppy and leaf images from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope flap.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! The Gang’s All Meer Birthday

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has everyone’s week started out?  Can you believe we are at the end of January already?  It’s hard to believe that we’re almost a third of the way through Sale-A-Bration already.

I needed a card for a 9 year old boys birthday.  Anyone that has boys knows that it’s not easy.  9 is one of the ages that they are not quite old enough, yet they are not babies anymore.  You can’t make them a card that’s too childish or too grown up.  So, with that being said, I used some of the goodies from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog for today’s card.  Here’s my card.

My colors were inspired by Just Add Ink Challenge #489.  Here are their colors.

I got the idea for my background from my Team Leader Amy Koenders.  You can see her card here.

I started with a panel of Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper and colored the stripes using my Call Me Clover, Daffodil Delight and Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the colored DSP to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to a Call Me Clover card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the meercat image from the Stampin’ Up! The Gang’s All Meer Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  If you look at the stamp, there are 5 meercats, but there are only 4 of us in my family, so I only wanted the first 4.  To get this, I used some washi tape and taped over the end meercat.  I inked up the stamp with the washi tape on, then removed the washi tape before stamping on my paper.  I stamped the cute little gecko image from The Gang’s All Meer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink next to the meercats.  That is suppose to represent my dog.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Call Me Clover Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the cactus image from The Gang’s All Meer stamp set in Call Me Clover Ink on the same piece of cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Light Call Me Clover and Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

From a panel of Basic Black cardstock I cut a mat using the largest oval from the Layering Ovals Dies.  I adhered the stitched oval artwork to the Basic Black oval using Snail.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the cactus image to the right of the artwork using a Stampin’ Dimensional and a Glue Dot.  On a small panel of Call Me Clover cardstock I stamped the sentiment from The Gang’s All Meer stamp set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Die.  I adhered the sentiment to the left of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the cactus image from The Gang’s All Meer stamp set in Call Me Clover Ink and colored it in using my Light Call Me Clover and Light Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the meercat popping out of the hole image from The Gang’s All Meer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink next to the cactus.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Call Me Clover Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Black mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Call Me Clover card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the meercat and gecko images from The Gang’s All Meer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I colored the images in using my Call Me Clover, Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Golden Honey Specialty DSP, which I colored in using my Call Me Clover, Daffodil Delight and Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends Markers, to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Purple Painted Poppies

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Did anyone do anything fun?  We spent Saturday at Hollywood Studios again and Sunday we went to Animal Kingdom.  Today we are heading to Magic Kingdom once again and will be leaving for home late tonight.  My husband booked an early morning flight coming so that we would get a full day in and a late night flight leaving so we would get another full day in.  I have gone on more rides this past week than I’ve gone on my entire life.  I don’t normally go on rides, but we were all having such a great time, I figured why not.  Like my niece told me “You only live once”.   I’m gong to need a vacation after this.  We will be arriving home early tomorrow morning (2am early) and 3 of the 4 of us have gotten sick.  I know where we’ll be heading tomorrow 😦  I don’t know about you, but the last place I want to be when I’m sick is on a plane.

I have a Clean and Simple card for you today,  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Snail.  I just love the color variations in this paper.  I adhered the matted DSP to a Blackberry Bliss card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the small poppy image from the Stampin’ Up! Painted Poppies Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Blackberry Bliss, Purple Posy and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the dragonfly image from the Stampin’ Up! Friend Like You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink above the poppies.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

I cut a strip of Purple Posy cardstock using the Banner Triple Punch. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the bottom of the banner.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the top of the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Purple Posy 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dot to the artwork.  I tied a small bow using the Blackberry Bliss Nature’s Twine and adhered it to the card front using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the stemmed flower image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink to the left side of the panel.  I colored the image in using my Old Olive and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Purple Posy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Blackberry Bliss card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the small poppy image from the Painted Poppies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink 3 times across the bottom of the envelope front.  I colored the image in using my Blackberry Bliss, Purple Posy and Rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Peaceful Poppies DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Thinking of You Sneak Peek

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers and HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE!!  Does anyone have any fun plans for this evening?  What does everyone do?  Go out or stay in?  I’m a stay in person.  I grew up having New Year’s Eve parties at our house and inviting family and friends over.  Tonight will be the 1st time, since I’ve gotten married 31 years ago, that we are having people over.  My husband never did anything on New Years, so he never wanted to after we were married.  Now I just have to make sure I can stay awake, that’s always a challenge for me lately.

For my last card of 2019 I made you a Clean and Simple one.  I used one of my favorite sets from the Sale-A-Bration Catalog, which by the way starts in just 3 short days.  I love stamping large images that I can color with my Stampin’ Blends Markers.   Here’s my last card of the year for you.

My colors were inspired by Global Design Project Challenge #221.   Here are their colors.

I played along with Inspire. Create. Challenge # 059 for my design with today’s card.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Cherry Cobbler card front using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I took my Stamping Sponge and lightly sponged over the card front using Early Espresso Ink to give it a little shading.

I stamped the large flower from the Stampin’ Up! Little Lady Bug Host Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a small panel of Whisper White Cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Early Espresso Ink below the flower.

I adhered the artwork to the embossed card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, letting it hang off the left side just a smidge and cut it even with the card front.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few of the Shaded Spruce Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the large flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off 5 times to get a real light image, on both sides of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid glue.  I added a couple more Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels on either side of the sentiment to give a little extra bling.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set once on the front of the envelope and twice on the envelope flap in Early Espresso Ink.  I colored the flowers in using my Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping and have a Happy, Happy New Year!!!!  Stay safe tonight with whatever plans you have and I will see you in 2020!!

Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning and Happy Thanksgiving my fellow stampers.  Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  By the time you read this I will have my turkey on the grill (yes we barbeque our turkey) and will be doing the 2nd step of my homemade pumpkin crescent rolls (a lot of rising with them) and the Macy’s Day Parade will be on in the background.  The Christmas season doesn’t officially start in my house until Santa arrives in the parade.  Cranberry sauce made , stuffing made √, pies made √, sweet potatoes prepared and ready to go in the oven √.  Things are moving along in a timely matter and we will have a nice family dinner with my nieces and nephews over.   Unfortunately we are missing a lot of our family members that have passed on, but I am SO thankful for the family that I have.  I could never imagine not having them in my life.

If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for taking the time to stop by. This week we had a Color Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s my card using our colors.

Here are our colors for this week.

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #249.

I also joined in with the Always Fun Challenge #138.  There theme is ‘Anything Goes’.

I started by cutting a scalloped circle in the center of a Night of Navy card front using the largest scallop from the Layering Circles Dies.  I embossed the Night of Navy panel using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed panel to a Copper Foil mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then I adhered it to a Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut the 2nd from the largest star out of Very Vanilla cardstock using the Stitched Stars Dies.  I cut a small detailed star and the flourish pieces out of Copper Foil Sheets using the Stitched Stars Dies.  To make the star look 3D I scored from each point to the opposite indent using my Paper Trimmer score blade.  I then folded on each of the score lines and that made it pop up.  I adhered the small copper star in the center of the Very Vanilla star using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the star to the center of a Night of Navy circle, which I cut using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the copper flourish pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue at every indent of the star onto the Night of Navy circle.  I adhered the layered circle in the center of the scallop circle on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! So Many Stars Photopolymer Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with Copper Stampin’ Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I made the strip into a banner and adhered it to a Copper Foil banner using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink, stamping off once, on either side of the sentiment and on the bottom corners of the panel.  I added a couple of the stars cut out of Copper Foil from the Stitched Stars Dies on either side of the sentiment.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Thick Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the small cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the bottom of the envelope front.  I stamped a larger cluster of stars image from the So Many Stars stamp set in Night of Navy Ink all over the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Christmas Wishes

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  Is everyone ready for a long weekend?  I’ll be baking apple and pumpkin pies today and making a pumpkin swirl cheesecake.  I’ll make my homemade cranberry sauce and make sure the turkey is  cleaned and ready for the grill in the morning.  How about all of you, what do you have to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner?

For today’s card I used some DSP and embossing folder and some dies.  Take a look.

My design was inspired by Try Stamping on Tuesday Challenge #436.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a Poppy Parade card front using the Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the card front to a Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I adhered 2 panels of Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut a stitched circle using the Stitched Shapes Dies from a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I cut a circle a little smaller than the stitched circle using the Layering Circle Dies out of Pretty Peacock cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Cup of Christmas Photopolymer Stamp Set in Poppy Parade Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using a smaller circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.

I adhered the sentiment to the Pretty Peacock mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted sentiment to the stitched Crumb Cake circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Pretty Peacock mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a candy cane which I cut and put together using the Cup of Cheer Dies.  I cut the base in Very Vanilla and the top in Poppy Parade.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the cup image from the Cup of Christmas stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink on the front of the envelope.  I stamped the sentiment from the Cup of Christmas stamp set inside the cup in Poppy Parade Ink.  I adhered a panel of the Night Before Christmas DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for  visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Wonderful Time of the Year CAS Card

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  Is anyone starting to prepare for Thanksgiving?  I picked up my turkey this weekend and some of the ingredients for the trimmings.  I can’t believe we’re at the end of November already.  This month has really flown by.

For today I have a quick and easy card for you again.  Once again I let the beautiful designer series paper do most of the work for me.  Ok, so yellow is not my favorite color, but I do love the holly in this paper and I was pretty happy with how it came out. Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Night Before Christmas Designer Series Paper to an Old Olive mat using Snail.  I adhered a Cherry Cobbler strip near the bottom of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Free Skate Cling Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the stitched oval to an Old Olive scallop oval which I cut using the Layering Ovals Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set.  I colored the holly in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers and I colored the berries in using my Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the holly out using my Detailed Skates Dies and adhered it to the sentiment oval using a Glue Dot.  I added a couple Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals under the holly leaves to support them.

On the inside I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set in all 4 corners of a Whisper White panel.  I colored them in using my Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Host Cling Stamp Set in the center of the Whisper White panel using Old Olive Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to an Old Olive mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the holly image from the Free Skate stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope.  I colored them in using my Cherry Cobbler and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Night Before Christmas DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Beauty and Joy for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by. This week we had a Sketch Challenge. Be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here’s what I came up with for the sketch.

Here is our sketch for this week.

I started by embossing Cherry Cobbler card front using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.  I sponged the top with Whisper White Craft Ink to give it a little shading.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the flowerpot image from the Stampin’ Up! Beauty & Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the flowerpot.  I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the tree trunk in Shaded Spruce Ink.  I cut the artwork out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set again in Shaded Spruce Ink and fussy cut the image out using my Paper Snips.  My upline made a similar card last week and she inspired me to stamp the holly separate and fussy cut it.  I adhered the fussy cut holly to the stamped image using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the holly and a Star Design Element to the top of the tree.

On a strip of Shaded Spruce cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Greatest Part of Christmas Cling Host Stamp Set in Versamark Ink.  I immediately sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the sentiment strip to a strip of a Copper Foil Sheet using Snail.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the sentiment over the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Greatest Part of Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tree trunk image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the holly image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink over the tree trunk.  I stamped the berry image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink over the holly.  I stamped the star image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on the top of the tree.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the holly tree image from the Beauty & Joy stamp set on the envelope front the same as I did for the card.  It’s hard to see, but I embossed the envelope flap using the Brick & Mortar 3D Embossing Folder.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season Let Snow For Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Does anyone have any plans for the weekend, since it’s here already?  I’m leaving today for Hartford, CT for OnStage.  If you follow me on Facebook, I will be posting some new sneak peaks.  I can’t wait to meet up with my fellow team members and to get my hands on the new Occasions Catalog.  I will be sharing all that I am allowed with you next week and on my Facebook page.

For today’s card I’ve made a double triangle fun fold.  Here’s my card.

The colors of my card were inspired by Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge #327.  Here are their colors.

I started with a full sheet of Shaded Spruce cardstock.  I scored it at 4 1/4″ along the 8 1/2″ side and 5 1/2″ along the 11″ side.  I lined the cardstock up in my Paper Trimmer on a diagonal and cut.  You are now able to make 2 cards with this panel.  I folded on the 2 fold lines having the 2 triangles meeting in the center of the card.  I adhered a panel of Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper to each of the Real Red mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted DSP panels to each of the triangles of the Shaded Spruce card base.

I adhered a panel of the Let It Snow Specialty DSP, which I cut using the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies, to a scallop oval cut from the Layering Ovals Dies in Real Red Glimmer Paper using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a panel of Sparkle Glimmer Paper I stamped the snowman image from the Stampin’ Up! Snowman Season Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I punched the snowman out using the Snowman Builder Punch.  I punched the snowman’s arms out of Soft Suede cardstock using the Snowman Builder Punch.  I adhered the arms to the back of the snowman using Glue Dots.  I adhered the snowman to the center of the oval using Stampin’ Dimensionals.   Using the Snowman Builder Punch again, I punched out a hat from the Let It Snow Specialty DSP and adhered it to the top of the snowman using a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I adhered the oval to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the left side of the oval.

On the top right side of the card front I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink and immediately sprinkled it with my Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and set it using my Heat Tool.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Snowman Season stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped another one of the snowman images from the Snowman Season stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail and then adhered it to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the snowman image from the Snowman Season stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Let It Snow Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
