Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven for Fun Fold Friday with Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends, welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Are you ready for the weekend? I am, it’s been a long week for me. I have to work on Saturday all day, but I’m off Sunday. Sunday I get to attend my quarterly meeting in person. I always look forward to getting together with my team members.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Bundle along with the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering 2 panels of In Good Taste DSP to the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the hydrangea image from the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped the top flower in Poppy Parade Ink and the bottom stem and leaves in Granny Apple Green Ink. I colored the leaves using my Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Hydrangea Dies. Using my Hydrangea Dies, I cut the tiny flowers die from panels of Blushing Bride, Petal Pink and Poppy Parade 2 times in each color. I adhered the tiny flowers to the large die cut flower using tiny amounts of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut the stem and leaves from a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock using the Hydrangea Dies and adhered it to the stem using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I added a few Pearl Basic Jewels to some of the Poppy Parade flowers. I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the 2nd largest Scalloped Contours Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel them embossed the panel using the dots from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folder. I adhered the flower to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Bumblebee Trinket to the panel.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the hydrangea image from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the hydrangea image from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good snowy Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. I woke up to another 6″ of snow on top of the 30 plus inches we got last week and this weekend. It’s not looking like spring here for sure. I’m starting to think this snow is not going away by spring for sure.

If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a color challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here is my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Bundle and the Hydrangea Hill Designer Series Paper. Here are out colors for this weeks Blog Hop.

I started by using the Hydrangea Dies and cutting the tiny flowers from panels of Highland Heather, Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray cardstock. I adhered a piece of Hydrangea Hill DSP to a panel of Night of Navy cardstock using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the tiny flowers to the flowers on the Hydrangea Hill DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a small panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Photopolymer Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Hydrangea Dies.

I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the card front twice, stringing it through the sentiment, and tied a bow. I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in the center of a Basic White panel in Misty Moonlight Ink. I adhered 2 strips of the Hydrangea Hill DSP on either side of the panel using Stampin’ Seal. I added a couple of the tiny flowers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Seaside Spray mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of Hydrangea Hill DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Hydrangea Haven CAS Encouragement Card

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. How has everyone’s week started off? Hope you are all having a productive one.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Bundle for today’s card. I’m a guest designer this week again for the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge. Here’s my card for today.

Here are the CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #403 colors for this week

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Hydrangea Haven Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Playing With Patterns 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper. I adhered the panel of Playing With Patterns DSP to a Crushed Curry mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I took a panel of Basic White cardstock and using my Blending Brushes, I added color to the panel using Melon Mambo on the top and Old Olive on the bottom. I then stamped the large hydrangea flower from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the colored panel. I cut the image out using my Hydrangea Dies and adhered it to the DSP card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of 1/2″ Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the card front and tied a bow on top of the stem. I adhered the card front to a Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added a few of the Opal Rounds to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Hydrangea Haven in the center of a Basic White panel in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the hydrangea image from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. Using my Blending Brushes I added Melon Mambo Ink on the bloom and Old Olive Ink on the leaves. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Crushed Curry mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Thick Basic White card base using Stampin’ Seal.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the large flower from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Ink. Using my Blending Brushes I added Melon Mambo Ink on the bloom and Old Olive Ink on the leaves. I adhered a panel of Playing With Patterns DSP to the envelope flap.
