Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Hello for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop.  How is everyone doing today?  We have a couple new hoppers with our group. Welcome Julie Johnson and Nicole Bloxom, so excited that you joined us.  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have sketch challenge. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects .
Here is the fun sketch we had to work from.

Here is my card using this sketch.

I played along with the Paper Players Tic Tac Toe Challenge #506.  I went across the top. Here is their board.

I also joined in with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #129. Their theme is ‘Just Saying Hello’.

I started by cutting 5 each of the smallest square from the Layering Squares Dies in Cajun Craze Cardstock, Crumb Cake Cardstock and Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I embossed the Cajun Craze squares using the Meadow Moments Embossing Folder and I embossed the Crumb Cake squares using the Wrapped In Texture Embossing Folder.

I arranged the squares on a panel of Copper Brushed Metallic Paper and adhered them using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped 3 of the outline maple leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink and the fill image of the maple leaf in Cajun Craze Ink, stamped off once, over the outline image.  I stamped 2 of the outline oak leaf image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Bumblebee Ink and the fill image of the oak leaf in Bumblebee Ink, stamped off once, over the outlined image.  I stamped 3 of the acorn outline image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the fill images of the acorn in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off once, for the top and Crumb Cake Ink, stamped off once, for the bottom.  I stamped 2 of the pinecone outline image from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off once, and the fill image from the pinecone image in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off twice, over the outlined image.  Using the Autumn Punch Pack I punched out the acorns, maple leaves and oak leaves, I fussy cut the pinecones using my Paper Snips.

I adhered the acorns, leaves and pinecones on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals in each cardstock square.  I wrapped a piece of Mint Macaron Basket Weave Ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack, around the metallic card front adhering it in the back using Stampin’ Seal.  I wrapped a piece of the Metallic ribbon from the Basket Weave & Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack around the basket weave ribbon and tied a bow.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using my Tasteful Labels Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Very Vanilla card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the sentiment and card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the acorn, leaves and pinecone images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set around the sentiment the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Very Vanilla card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the acorn, leaves and pinecone images from the Beautiful Autumn stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope the same as I did for the card front.  I adhered a panel of the Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Hello Harvest

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends.  TODAY IS THE DAY!!! The August-December 2020 Mini Catalog is now live.  Hope you have your shopping lists ready and you are ready to use those Bonus Coupons you earned last month.  I know I’ll be placing my order 1st thing this morning!!  I’m so excited, I get to order the new Stampin’ Cut & Embossing Machine today.  This is one of the perks of being a demonstrator.

I have another fall card for you today.  It might be 90+ degrees outside, but I’m thinking cool.  Here’s my card for today.

My design is from the Fab Friday Sketch Challenge #195.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #127.  Their theme is ‘Stamp on Kraft’.

I started by stamping a Crumb Cake card front with the images from the Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set randomly in Crumb Cake Ink.

I cut a panel of Gilded Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to a Brushed Metallic Gold sheet using Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the matted panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Life Is Beautiful Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink on a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I adhered a piece of the 3/8″ Embroidered Ribbon to the DSP using  a small amount of Stampin’ Seal.  I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment form the Life is Beautiful stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel.  I stamped the images from the Harvest Hellos stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Crumb Cake Ink and colored the leaves in using my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the images from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom front of the envelope and colored them in using my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Thank You

Good Monday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s weekend?  It was a hot one here yesterday.  The sun was shining and the temperatures were high.  We hit the real feel of 105.

For today I have something a little different for you.  I have the same card one for Beginner Stampers and one for the Casual Stamper.  For those of you that know me, you know that one of my favorite things to do is walk the beach and collect shells.  I have a big curio cabinet full of them, all kinds all shape.  I don’t like just perfect shells, I like all the pieces that I can find too.  Here are the cards.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #602.  Here are their colors.

I played along with Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #126.  Their theme is ‘Sea Shells’

I also played along with Double “D” Challenges.  Here’s Their theme.

With both cards I started by stamping Whisper White card fronts starting with the sand image from the Stampin’ Up! Seaside Notions Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once, multiple times across the bottom of the panels.  Using the masking technique, I stamped the shell images from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the panels.  To do the masking technique I stamped the shell images on a Post-It note and fussy cut them using my Paper Snips.  I stamped the first shell, covered it with the post-it note and stamped the other shell over the top of the first.  I continued doing this until I got the image that I wanted.

I colored all the shells in using my Balmy Blue, Ivory, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Best Year Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink next to the shell images.  For the Beginner Stamper, I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  For the Casual Stamper. I adhered the card front to a Brass Brushed Metallic mat (available Aug. 4th), using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Petal Pink card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of both I stamped the sentiment from the Best Year stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of Whisper White panels.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set across the bottom of the panels in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the larger shell from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panels and colored them in using my Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers.

To finish my card I decorated Medium Whisper White Envelopes.  I only have the Casual Stamper card in the above photos since the envelopes were identical.  I stamped the sand image from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, stamping off once, across the bottom of the envelope front and envelope flap multiple times.  I stamped the shell images from the Seaside Notions stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the envelope front and flap and colored them in using my Balmy Blue, Petal Pink and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my 2 different, but the same, cards and will give it a try.  Everyone has to start somewhere and that is usually the beginning.  I have trouble doing simple stamping since it’s been so long, but most of my cards start off that way and they continue from there.  Happy Stamping!!
