Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month so that means Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Amy Koenders blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “Halloween Fun”.  We can interpret this however we want.  I’m not a big Halloween fan, but I had a lot of fun creating this card.  Here’s my card.

My colors are from Fab Friday Challenge #196.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with ‘Just Us Girls’ Challenge #552.  They have a ‘Word Week’.  Here’s their theme.

I started by cutting the ‘BOO!’ out of a panel of Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper using the Playful Alphabet Dies.  I adhered the DSP panel to a Cinnamon Cider card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using a Foam Adhesive sheet with a panel of Basic Black cardstock, I cut the ‘BOO!’ out again using the Playful Alphabet Dies and adhered it to the card front where I cut the letters out.  I adhered the DSP letters on top of the Basic Black foam pieces using Multipurpose Liquid Glue making sure the plaid lines lined up.  I cut the leaves from the Stitched Leaves Dies out of panels of Bumblebee, Cajun Craze and Cinnamon Cider cardstock.  I ran each of the leaves through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine again adding the stitching to them from the Stitched Leaves Dies.  I stamped the pumpkin image from the Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Cajun Craze cardstock.  I stamped the Jack-O-Lantern face from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in the center of the pumpkin using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I punched the pumpkin out using my Apple Builder Punch.  I cut the stem for the pumpkin out of a scrap of Cinnamon Cider cardstock using the Apple Builder Punch and adhered it to the back of the pumpkin using a Glue Dot.

I arranged the leaves and pumpkin on the card front the way I wanted and adhered the leaves using Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the pumpkin using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the spider image from the Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a scrap of the Plaid Tidings DSP.  I cut the spider out using the Celebration Labels Dies and adhered it to the card front using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, matching up the lines on the plaid.  Using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker, I drew a line down the paper like he was coming down from his web.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the web image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the top of the panel.  I stamped the spider image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink 3 times on the panel and drew lines from the web down to the spiders using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Bumblebee mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Cinnamon Cider card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the spider web from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the top of the envelope front.  I stamped the spider image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set twice on the envelope front and drew lines from the web to the spiders using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.  I adhered a panel of Plaid Tidings DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Haunted Birthday

Good Sunday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s weekend going?  It was a gorgeous 55 degrees when I awoke this morning, but it was still dark out 😦  I have the windows open, the attic fan on and it is absolutely beautiful sunny day outside.   Yesterday I went to the farm to pick sunflowers, they neglected to tell us that there were no more to pick when we asked.  Instead I picked some Cockscomb, Zinnias and tomatoes.  I also came home with  a big bag full of basil that I spent a couple hours making pesto and freezing the containers.  I think I’m set for just a little while now.  Whatever basil grows now in my pots I will make pesto and use it, seems my family really likes it.

For today’s card it might look like a Halloween card, but it’s actually a birthday card.  My nieces husband loves Halloween and she wanted me to make him a birthday card.  They go all out with decorating for Halloween like I do for Christmas.  Here’s today’s card.

I had a lot of scraps of my Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper so I decided to put it on a card.  I cut 1/2″ strips of the DSP, Blackberry Bliss cardstock and Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  I adhered the strips to a Basic Black panel using Stamp[in’ Seal.  Once all the strips were adhered, I cut the panel down to a 3 3/4″ X 5″ panel.

I stamped the large pumpkin image from the Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Pumpkin Pie cardstock.  I stamped the face in the center of the pumpkin and punched it out using my Apple Builder Punch.  I cut the stem out of a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the spider web image from the Stampn’ Up! Celebration Tidings Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I cut the image out using the Celebration Labels Dies.  On the same panel, I stamped multiple of the spider image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and cut them out using the Celebration Labels Dies.  I drew lines coming down from the spider web using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker then adhered the label to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the pumpkin to the label using Stampin’ Dimensionals and all the spiders using Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I embossed a panel of the Copper Brushed Metallic cardstock using the  Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue on an angle.  I adhered the card front to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Iridescent Pearls to the card front and brushed the spiders with some Clear Wink of Stella.

On the inside, in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, I stamped  the spider web from the Celebration Tidings stamp set on the top of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in the center of the panel and the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Well Said Cling Stamp Set below the 1st sentiment.  I stamped the spider image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set around the sentiment and drew lines using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker from the web to the spiders.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Blackberry Bliss mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Basic Black card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  In Tuxedo Black Memento Ink, I stamped the spider web and spiders from the Celebration Tidings stamp set on the envelope front and drew lines from the web to the spiders using my Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.  I adhered the leftover scraps of Plaid Tidings DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Smile

Good Monday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s weekend? Did anyone do anything fun?  Was anyone able to watch the SpaceX Splashdown yesterday?  I was sitting on the edge of my seat watching and waiting for it to land.

I had off yesterday and my daughter got her room painted without my help and only a little help from my husband.  She did such an awesome job!!  I don’t know about you, but I seem to put every color with a Stampin’ Up! color.  She painted 3 of her walls a little lighter shade of the Light Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Marker and one wall is painted the retired Perfect Plum.  It looks so nice.  I have off today and tomorrow, YAY!!  We’re hoping to put all her furniture back in place today once she checks to see if she has to touch up anywhere. Tomorrow isn’t looking too promising weather wise here.  The hurricane is suppose to hit, so it will be a great crafting day for me since I don’t have to leave the house.

I have a another clean and simple card for you today using a set from last year.  Here’s my card for today.

My design is from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge #381.  Here is their sketch.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #604.  Here are their colors.

I started by stamping the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a Whisper White card front.  I adhered 2 pieces of Terracotta Tile 1/2″ Scalloped Linen Ribbon above and below the sentiment using a small amount of Stampin’ Seal.

On a small panel of Terracotta Tile cardstock I stamped the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink.  I punched the pumpkin out using the Apple Builder Punch.  I stamped the face image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the pumpkin.  I adhered the pumpkin to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered the Whisper White card front to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to a Whisper White card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Iridescent Pearls to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink, stamping off 3 times, in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Autumn Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the pumpkin.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Terracotta Tile mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set on the envelope front in Terracotta Tile Ink twice.  I colored the images in using my Terracotta Tile Stampin’ Write Marker.  I adhered a panel of Terracotta Tile 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Fall Birthday Card for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday blog.  It’s Friday the 13th, there’s a full moon and it’s a harvest moon tonight.  I love watching the full moon rise at night, I’m hoping it will be a nice clear night to see it.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here already, I hope you have some fun plans.  We’re at apple picking season here, that’s always a lot of fun.

For today’s card I made a Dutch Door Card using multiple fall related stamp sets.  Here’s my card.

I played along with the Paper Players Color Challenge #458.  Here are their colors.

I started by putting together my card base.  I scored the 4 1/8″ X 8 3/4″ panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock at 5 1/2″ and folded it.  I scored the 8 1/2″ X 2 1/4″ panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″ and folded it on the score lines.  I adhered the larger card base to the smaller card base so that the 2 folded  sides would close over the bottom of the larger card base using Tear & Tape Adhesive.  I adhered a panel of Come To Gather Designer Series Paper to the top portion of the card base using Snail.  I then adhered the 2 smaller panels of Come To Gather DSP to the outside  bottom portion of the card base to the edges so that they met in the middle and there was no border using Snail..

I cut out 3 Merry Merlot leaves using the Seasonal Layers Dies.  I cut out 2 more leaves, one in Cajun Craze and the other in Pretty Peacock using the Gathered Leaves Dies.  I stamped the pumpkin image from the Stampn’ Up Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I punched the pumpkin out using the Apple Builder Punch.  I also punched the stem out of a tiny scrap of Early Espresso cardstock and adhered it to the pumpkin using a Glue Dot.  I cut out the ‘Birthday Wishes’ sentiment from the Well Written Dies in Merry Merlot cardstock.

I adhered a Whisper White panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Snail.  I adhered the pumpkin to the Whisper White panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added the leaves under the pumpkin using Glue Dots.  I adhered the sentiment to the top of the Whisper White panel using my Fine Tip Glue Pen.  I adhered the artwork to the top portion of the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered 2 of the Merry Merlot leaves to the bottom ‘Doors’ of the card base using Glue Dots.  You can also see in the picture above how I adhered the DSP to the ‘doors’ of the card, with only leaving a border on 3 sides.

On the inside I stamped the leaf image from the Stampin’ Up Gather Together Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pretty Peacock Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel stamping off twice.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink on top of the leaf.  I stamped the 2 pumpkin images from the Gather Together stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on a small Whisper White panel.  I colored the pumpkins in using my Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut them out using the Gathered Leaves Dies.  I adhered the to the bottom of the Whisper White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the small leaf image from the Colorful Seasons stamp set across the bottom of the envelope front in Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock and Merry Merlot Inks.  I adhered a panel of the Come To Gather DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today for Fun Fold Friday.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Thank You

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  The weekend is approaching very quickly, hope you’re ready.

For today’s card I played with a bundle I played with last week, the Harvest Hellos Bundle.  Last week I made a card using the apple, this week I made the apple into a pumpkin.  This bundle is so cute.  All you have to do is turn the stem a different way and you have either an apple or a pumpkin.  Here’s my card.

I played along with CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #337.  Here is their sketch.

I started by embossing a small Basic Black panel using the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the embossed strip to a panel of Monster Base Designer Series Paper using Snail.  I cut out the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies in Very Vanilla cardstock and sponged the edges with my Soft Suede Ink.  I cut a smaller circle out of the Monster Bash DSP using my Layering Circles Dies and adhered it to the stitched circle using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the circle to the card front using Stampn’ Dimensionals having it hang off the left edge.  I cut it even with the card front using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the card front to a Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Pumpkin Pie cardstock I stamped the pumpkin image from the Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie Ink.  I stamped the Jack-O-Lantern face from the Harvest Hellos stamp set on my pumpkin in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I punched the pumpkin out using my Apple Builder Punch.  I punched the stem out using the Apple Builder Punch from a scrap of Soft Suede cardstock.  I adhered the stem to the pumpkin using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the pumpkin to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Pumpkin Pie Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the Basic Black strip on the card front.

On the inside I stamped the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Pumpkin Pie Ink to the center of a Very Vanilla panel stamping off once.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink over the pumpkin image.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the pumpkin image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Pumpkin Pie Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the Jack-O-Lantern face from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink inside the pumpkin image.  I stamped the pumpkin stem from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on top of the pumpkin.  I adhered a panel of Monster Bash DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Just a reminder, the 2019 Holiday Catalog is now live and you can order this Harvest Hellos Bundle with a 10% discount.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Sneak Peek for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to Fun Fold Friday.  How has everyone’s week gone?  Are you ready for the 3 day weekend?  Do you have some fun picnic plans for Monday?

Today I have a Joy Fold card for you featuring one of the new bundles in the upcoming 2019 Holiday Catalog called Harvest Hellos.  Here’s my card.

I started by embossing a Whisper White panel with my Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the Pacific Point card base in the center of the Whisper White panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue with the opening to the left.

I stamped the apple seed image from the Stampin’ Up Harvest Hellos Cling Stamp Set along the bottom of a Poppy Parade Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and colored them in using my Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Marker.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the apple slice image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink twice.  I colored the image in using my Poppy Parade and Dark Basic Black Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I fussy cut the images using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the apple slices above the stamped seeds on the Brights 6 X 6 DSP using Glue Dots on the bottom one and Stampin’ Dimensionals. on the top one.  I stamped the sentiment from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the top of the DSP panel. I adhered the DSP panel to a Whisper White mat using Snail and then to the front left side of the card base.

I stamped the apple image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink twice on a Whisper White panel.  I colored the images in using my Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I punched the apples out using my Apple Builder Punch.  I stamped the stem and leaf images from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the Whisper White panel.  I colored them in using my Crumb Cake and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I punched the stems and leaves out using my Apple Builder Punch and adhered them to the apple using Glue Dots.  Using my Gathered Leaves Dies I cut out a Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Rich Razzleberry and Shaded Spruce leaves.  I adhered a woodgrain panel of Come To Gather Designer Series Paper to the front of the Pacific Point card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the leaves along the bottom of the card front, avoiding the right folded edge, using Glue Dots.  I adhered the apples on top of the leaves using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the apple seed and apple slice images from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink along the bottom of a Whisper White panel.  I colored the images in using my Dark Basic Black and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Country Home Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Pacific Point card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the apple image from the Harvest Hellos stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a Poppy Parade panel of the Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. The stamp set used for today’s card will be available on September 4th for purchase. Hope you all have a wonderful 3 day weekend and have some fun plans.

Happy Stamping!!
