Stampin’ Up! Happy Tails for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  Happy May!!  Not sure where March and April went, but it’s May, which to me, means the warm weather should be here.  Hopefully it will get here soon.   How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here again and we still can’t go out to do anything.  Parks are still closed along with a lot of other things.  I’ll be working on Sunday and hopefully doing a lot of card making tomorrow.

I have a card for you today that I don’t like to make, I don’t think any of us do.  One of my co-workers and friend lost her best fur friend this week.  Poor thing made it through his major surgery, when he was waking up went into cardiac arrest.  It was a real shock to her and her family.  I used the retiring stamp set for her card.  Here’s my card for today.

I started with a 4 1/4″ X 11″ Crumb Cake card base scored at 5 1/2″.  I made a little mark at 4 1/4″ on the top of the card front and scored from that mark down to the bottom  front corner.  I made 1/4″ score lines on the side and bottom of the triangle piece that folds down.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the outline dog image from the Stampin’ Up! Happy Tails Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I stamped the spot image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once, on top of the outline image. I stamped the collar image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I punched the dog out using my Dog Builder Punch.  The Dog Builder Punch, punches out a heart when you punch out the dog.  I colored the heart using my Dark Real Red Stampin’ Blends Marker and adhered it to the collar using a Glue Dot.  On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the outline of the dog house image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the fill dog house image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once, on top of the outline.  I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Tails stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the top right corner of the panel. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail.

I adhered the matted panel to the card front lining up the corners and centering it with the scored lines using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, only on the bottom left corner.  I adhered the punched out dog to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the dog bone image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on a scrap of Crumb Cake cardstock and fussy cut it using my Paper Snips.  I adhered a small panel of Real Red Regals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the left side of the card front using Snail.  I added the fussy cut bone using a Glue Dot.

You can see from the inside how I folded the card front panel down.  I adhered a panel of Real Red Regals 6 X 6 DSP to the inside back panel using Snail.  I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Tails stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the heart image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Real Red Ink in the 4 corners.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail. I adhered the matted panel to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, making sure it’s behind the card front panel.  I stamped the paw print image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Early Espresso Ink where you can see it when the card is closed.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the dog image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the spot image from the Happy Tails stamp set on the dog in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the collar image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the dog image.  I stamped the heart outline from the Happy Tails stamp set in Real Red Ink on the collar.  I stamped the pawprint image from the Happy Tails stamp set in Early Espresso Ink around the left side of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of Real Red Regals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I hope you liked my fun fold and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Ornate From All Of Us for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?

Today’s card is one that I demonstrated on our Facebook Live Event last Saturday.  Here is the link if you’d like to watch it.  https://creativestampingdesigns.com/…/stampin-up-ornate-ho…/    These cards are the same, but just a little different.  One I made as a book fold and the other a tent fold.  I have both cards here that I  will explain.  The card cuts and products used are below for both cards.  Here are my cards.

With both cards I started by lightly adhering the Early Espresso card front to the Early Espresso card base and the Old Olive card front to the Old Olive card base using a tiny bit of Snail right in the middle.  I cut the Early Espresso card using the Layering Ovals Dies and the Old Olive card using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I embossed both card fronts using my Ornate Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the Early Espresso card front to the Early Espresso card base and the Old Olive card front to the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using my Layering Ovals Dies, I cut a panel of Blushing Bride cardstock using the scalloped oval that was larger that the cut oval.  I cut the center of the oval the same size as the  one cut through the card front.  I adhered the frame to the Early Espresso card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a piece of Old Olive Ornate Garden 1/4″ Ribbon around the right side of the oval and tied a bow.  On a thin piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink.  I adhered the sentiment to a Blushing Bride mat using Snail and then to the Early Espresso card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a couple Gilded Gems to the card front.

Using my Ornate Layers Dies, I cut a panel of Terracotta Tile cardstock using the frame that was larger than the rectangle on the Old Olive card front.  I cut the center of the Terracotta Tile frame using the same size Stitched Rectangle Die that I used to cut through the card front.

I adhered the frame to the Old Olive card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a Gilded Gem to the card front.

For the inner card I adhered a panel of Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Blushing Bride card base using Snail.  I adhered the inner card inside the Early Espresso card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue making sure it was centered and opened to the right (opposite of the Early Espresso card).   It will look like photo below.

I added another Gilded Gem to one of the flowers you can see through the card front.

For the inner card I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to a Terracotta Tile card base using Snail.  I adhered the inner card to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue making sure it was centered and opened to the right (opposite of a book fold card).  I stamped the sentiment from the Ornate Thanks stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink on a strip of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment to an Old Olive mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted sentiment to the inner card front using Glue Dots, lining is up through the rectangle card front.  I tied a small bow from the Terracotta Tile Ornate Garden 1/4″ Ribbon and adhered it with a Glue Dot.  I added a couple Gilded Gems to the inner card front and sentiment.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  Using the Ornate Borders Dies, I cut out the flourish on either side of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the smaller Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  There were 2 heart shapes that cut out of each side from the flourish die, so I added them in the top inside corners of the small and large card bases using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the daisy image from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Style Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I colored the images in using my Light Mango Melody and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the small Terracotta Tile card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the scroll image from the Ornate Style stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the 4 corners of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

To finish my 2nd card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the daisy image from the Ornate Style stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the envelope front 3 times.  I colored the images in using my Light Mango Melody and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The list of supplies are below along with the measurements if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video.  You can watch the video on the Old Olive card on my Facebook page Here.

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thanks for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here once again.  My team has a fun event planned for tomorrow starting at 1pm.  We will be doing Facebook live videos showcasing the Ornate Garden Suite, there will even be giveaways at the end of the event.  You will just need to leave a comment during the live videos.  I’m planning on going live at 5pm.  Our Facebook page is all set up for the event and it’s open for joining!  Click this link to go to the group and then click the “join” button and we’ll get you approved ASAP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1833741716756137/  Looking forward to seeing you there.

For today’s card I used a suite from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog which will be ending the beginning of June.  I don’t know if these items will be carrying over, so I wanted to make sure I got to use them.  My card is actually 2 cards in one.   Here’s my card.

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #267.  Here is their theme.

I started with a Crumb Cake card base which is larger than normal.  It’s 5 1/2″ X 10″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″ & 8 1/2″.

I adhered 2 panels of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to Night of Navy mats using Snail and then adhered them to the front of the card base and the small fold over piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a smaller panel of Come Sail Away DSP to a Night of Navy mat using Snail.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink on a small Whisper White panel.  I cut the sentiment out using the banner die from the Smooth Sailing Dies and adhered it to the small card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of the small card base, I stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a small Whisper White panel.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink to the right of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the small Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the small card base to the fold over panel of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, only on 1″ of the back near the fold.  I wrapped a piece of the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine around the card bases and tied a bow on the left side.  I adhered the small card front to the small card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Sail Away Trinket just below the sentiment using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the compass image from the Sailing Home stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink overlapping the compass image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the compass image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the envelope front, stamping off once.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink overlapping the compass image.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up! Perennial Floral Essence for Fun Fold Friday

Good Good Friday morning my stamping friends.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here and Easter is on Sunday.  I don’t know about you, but it’s not feeling like Easter this year to me.  I can’t make my Easter Egg Bread because EVERY store is sold out of yeast.  I didn’t make all my traditional Easter items since we can’t be in any large gatherings and that means no family coming over.  I am thankful to be healthy though.  My whole family has stayed healthy so far.  It’s going to be a very small gathering Sunday so I have to downsize everything I make.  Next Easter we’ll be back to normal.

For today’s Fun Fold I pulled out some items from the Annual Catalog.  This card is perfect if you have a lot of Designer Paper that you want to used up.  I used one of the 2018-2020 In-Colors which will be going away in June.  If you are liking any of these In-Colors, you best to grab them while you can.  Here’s my card for today.

I started with an 12 X 5 1/2″ panel of Blueberry Bushel cardstock which I scored and folded at 2 1/4″, 5″ and 7 3/4″.

I adhered 4 panels of Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper to Balmy Blue mats using Snail.  I adhered the matted panels to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  You will be able to see better where they are all adhered in a photo below.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Floral Essence Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I stamped the fern leaf image from the Floral Essence stamp set in Old Olive Ink, below the sentiment.

I stamped the large flower image from the Floral Essence stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock and colored it in using my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I fussy cut the flower out using my Paper Snips.  I stamped the leaf image from the Floral Essence stamp set on a panel of Whisper White cardstock in Old Olive Ink twice and punched them out using the Leaf Punch.  I adhered the flower to the bottom of the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the leaves under the flower using Glue Dots.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and added a Perennial Essence Floral Center to the flower.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Floral Essence stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies and adhered it to the center panel using Snail.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blueberry Bushel Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower image from the Floral Essence stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored it in using my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the leaf images from the Floral Essence stamp set in Old Olive Ink around the flower.  I stamped the flower center from the Floral Essence stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Balmy Blue mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the large flower image from the Floral Essence stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the bottom front of the envelope and colored it in using my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the leaf images from the Floral Essence stamp set in Old Olive Ink around the flower.  I stamped the flower center from the Floral Essence stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink in the center of the flower.  I adhered a panel of Perennial Essence DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  The 2018-2020 In-Colors Cardstock, 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, Stamp Pads, Ink Refills, Stampin’ Write Markers, Ribbon and Buttons will all be retiring at the end of May.  If you are loving any or all of these colors, now it the time to get them before they are gone for good.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Ornate Smile Daisy Lane for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Is anyone planning anything for the weekend?  I’m working a partial day tomorrow and getting my spring cleaning done.

For today’s card I made a fold I haven’t done in a while and forgot how much I like it.  I do have detailed pictures and instructions for you since it is a little hard to explain.  Here’s today’s card.

I’ve combined the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper with the Stampin’ Up! Daisy Lane Cling Stamp Set for my card.  Click HERE for a  template which I got from Lisa Curcio, to do the braid on the edge.

I lined the template up with the edge of my card and cut carefully on the lines all the way down the edge so it looks like photo above.  When you open your card base it looks like the 2nd picture above.

Starting at the bottom, you want to fold down the bottom  cut piece and carefully cut it off using your Paper Snips as shown above and set it aside (you will need it later).  Fold the next cut piece down and tuck it behind the point below it.  Continue doing this all the way to the top cut piece.

When you finish folding and tucking all the pieces down it will look like the 1st picture above.  Take the small piece that you cut off and adhere it to the top of the card, using Glue Dots, lining it up and tucking it under the top point so it looks like the middle photo above.  When you fold your card back in half it will look like the end photo.

I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the card front using Snail.  On a small panel of Whisper White card stock I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Early Espresso Ink across the stem.  I cut the image out using my Rectangle Stitched Dies.

On a small piece of Vellum card stock I stamped the medium daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink twice.  I cut the images out using the Medium Daisy Punch.  I adhered the 2 cut daisies together using a Glue dot and adhered it to the stem image using a Glue Dot.  I added a Perennial Essence Floral Center to the daisy.  I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a small bow made from the Terracotta Tile 1/4″ Ornate Garden Ribbon and adhered it to the bottom of the stem using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink, stamping off once, on the side of the panel.  I stamped the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink, stamping off once, to the top of the stem.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Terracotta Tile mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the stem image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the small daisy image from the Daisy Lane stamp set in Terracotta Tile Ink on the top of the stem.  I adhered a panel of the Ornate Garden Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  How are you all doing with Social Distancing?  I’m actually going to work today.  The store has re-opened, but they are limiting the number of people they are letting in.  They also put up a plastic sheeting barrier for the cashiers at the register. We’re not open the full hours, but at least customers can run in to get what they absolutely have to.

For today I have this really cute fun fold.  Once again, I see myself making this one often.  Here’s today’s card.

My colors were inspired by Global Design Project Challenge #233.  Here are their colors.

I started by adhering a panel of Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper to a  Pool Party card base using Snail.   I cut the center of the card base using the 2nd largest Stitched So Sweetly Die and set it aside.

I wrapped a piece of Petal Pink 1/4″ Metallic Edge Ribbon around the card front and tied a bow.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the perfume bottle from the Stampin’ Up! Dressed To Impress Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink.  I colored the image in using my Petal Pink and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I brushed the bottle with Clear Wink of Stella to give it a little shimmer.  I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink above the perfume bottle.  I cut the image out using the 3rd largest Stitched So Sweetly Die.  I adhered the artwork to the Pool Party cardstock die that I cut from the card base.  I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the artwork.

The inner liner is part of the fun fold.  Score the 8″ X 5 1/4″ card base at 2″ and 4″ and fold like a Z-Fold card.  Have the Z-Fold open out to the right, which is the opposite of a normal Z-Fold card.  I stamped the perfume bottle from the Dressed To Impress stamp set on the larger section of the Whisper White card base in Smoky Slate Ink on the bottom left.  I stamped the flower images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set by the perfume bottle and on the corners of the folds.  I colored the images in using my Petal Pink, Pool Party and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in the center of the larger section of the Whisper White card base. I adhered the Whisper White card base to a So Saffron mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Close the card and add Snail to the small fold through the opening on the card front.  Adhere the matted artwork through the card front opening, which should fit perfectly since it was originally cut from there.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the perfume bottle and a couple of the flowers from the Dressed To Impress stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Petal Pink, Pool Party and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Somebody’s Blessing for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  The weekend is here once again.  How was everyone’s week?  Hope you had a productive one and are ready for some fun this weekend.

For today I have another new to me fun fold.  I really like this one and I can see a lot more cards like this in my future.  Here’s my card.

This card stands so nicely on it’s own.  I started with a Mint Macaron card base and scored it at 2 1/4″, 3 5/8″, 7 3/8″ and 8 3/4″.  Once you make the folds it will look like this.

Once I made the folds I adhered 2 panels of Best Dressed 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to 2 Basic Gray mats using Snail.  I adhered the matted panels to the 2 sides of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the single woman image from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Moments Cling Stamp Set on the bottom of the panel in Basic Gray Ink.  I stamped the small flower image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Basic Gray Ink on either side of the larger image.  I stamped the bird image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set twice on either side of the woman image.  I stamped the 2 butterfly images from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Basic Gray Ink just above the flower images. I colored the images in using my Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Ivory, Mint macaron, Old Olive, Purple Posy and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the top of the panel.  I adhered the artwork to a Basic Gray mat using Snail and then to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the back of the card base I adhered 2 panels of Best Dressed 6 X 6 DSP to 2 Basic Gray mats using Snail and then to the back 2 sides of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a Whisper White panel I stamped the sentiment from Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink towards the top of the panel.  I stamped the small floral image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Basic Gray Ink along the bottom of the panel going completely across.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Basic Gray mat using Snail and then to the backside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added a couple Purple Posy 2019-2021 In-Color Faceted Dots on either side of the sentiment.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the single woman image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Basic Gray Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped the bird image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set in Basic Gray Ink above the woman image.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory, Mint Macaron, Old Olive and Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Best Dressed 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.  Although it doesn’t look it, this card fits perfectly in the standard A2 envelope once it is flattened.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I  hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug for Fun Fold Friday

Happy Friday the 13th my stamping friends.  I hope you’re not superstitious about the date, I’m not.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here, hope you are all ready for it, I know I am.  I get to work Saturday at the dog bakery.  We’re having a party for the owners dog for her 1st gotcha day.  They are making a big cake and dogs are invited to the party for some yummy cake (owners too).  Sunday  I’m looking forward to attending our quarterly Team Meeting.  It’s always so much fun to get together with fellow team members to enjoy lunch and stamping together.

For today’s card I made a pretty easy fun fold for you using the Sale-A-Bration Host exclusive stamp set.  Take a look.

My colors were inspired by The Paper Players Challenge #481.  Their colors just screamed spring/summer to me.  Here are their colors.

I also joined in with Global Design Project Challenge #231.  Here is their theme.

I started by embossing a small panel of Bermuda Bay cardstock using the Swirls & Curls Embossing Folder.  I adhered the panel to the front of the Z-Fold using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock, I stamped the flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Little Ladybug Cling Host Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the flying ladybug on the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the images in using my Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  On a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the ladybug image again and just colored in the left wing with my dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I fussy cut the wing and adhered it on top of the stamped ladybug using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the top of the panel.  I adhered the artwork to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the embossed card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels which I colored using my dark Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends Marker.  I added a Rhinestone Basic Jewel which I colored using my dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blends Marker by the sentiment and a Coastal Cabana rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestones on the other side of the sentiment.

On the inside I adhered a panel of Birthday Bonanza Designer Series Paper to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped another one of the ladybug images from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I colored the image in using my Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the panel to a Bermuda Bay mat using Snail and then to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue making sure it was hidden under the card front panel.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the flower image from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the envelope front.  I stamped another one of the ladybug images from the Little Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink next to the flower.  I colored the images in using my Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Birthday Bonanza DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  Hopefully your work week is over and you are ready to start the weekend.  I’m actually only working 1 day this weekend for a change.

For today’s card I used another one of my favorite stamp sets from the 2020 January-June Mini Catalog.  I played along with a few challenges and made it into a fun fold.  Here’s my card.

My colors are from Inspire. Create Challenge #064.  Here are their colors.

My sketch is from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #358.  Here is their sketch.

I also played along with Paper Craft Crew Tic Tac Toe Challenge # 373. I went diagonally down from the top left to bottom right.

I started by stamping a Crumb Cake panel using the flower images from the Stampin’ Up! Under My Umbrella Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink randomly around.  I adhered a panel of 2019-2021 In- Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base using Snail.  I adhered the stamped crumb cake panel on top of the DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped a strip of Whisper White cardstock using the rain drop image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink.  I made a banner using my Banner Triple Punch.  I made another banner slightly larger in Night of Navy cardstock using my Banner Triple Punch.  I adhered the Whisper White banner to the Night of Navy banner leaving equal amounts on the 3 sides.  On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the umbrella and boots image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I colored the umbrella in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I colored the boots in using my Night of Navy Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I punched the umbrella top out using my Umbrella Builder Punch and I fussy cut the boots using my Paper Snips.  On a scrap piece of Crumb Cake cardstock I stamped the umbrella handle image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink and punched it out using my Umbrella Builder Punch.  I adhered the umbrella handle to the umbrella top using a Glue Dot.  I adhered the umbrella and boots to the matted banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the raindrop image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink  I adhered the Whisper White strip to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and added a piece of Seaside Spray Scalloped Lined Ribbon which I tied in a knot to the end using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the flower images from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink around the sentiment.  I stamped the closed umbrella image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Night of Navy Ink and colored it in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the handle image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the umbrella.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Seaside Spray mat using Snail.  I adhered the banner to the top back of the mat so that it folded over the front using Tear & Tape Adhesive.  I adhered the sentiment strip to the right back of the mat so that it folded across over the banner using Tear & Tape Adhesive.  I adhered the matted panel to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the closed umbrella image from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the envelope front and colored it in using my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the umbrella handle image in Crumb Cake Ink on the umbrella.  I stamped the flower images from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in Seaside Spray Ink to the right of the umbrella.  I adhered a panel of 2019-2021 In-Color 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Oasis for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week? The weekend is here already, have you made any plans?  I’ll be at work all weekend, end of the month and 1st of the month.  The good news is I get to take Monday off, YAY!!

Today’s fun fold card is a pretty quick one.  My daughter has been asking me to make a card using the pineapple from the In The Tropics Dies. Here’s my card.

I started by cutting 2 of the pineapples out using the In The Tropics Dies from So Saffron cardstock.  One of them I poked all the little pieces out and sponged it using my Sponge Dauber and So Saffron Ink.  I focused on sponging only the pointy pieces of the pineapple.  I then adhered the cut out piece to the pineapple that I didn’t punch the little pieces out of using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the pineapple top out of Pear Pizzazz cardstock using the In The Tropics Dies.  I sponged the edges and points of the leaves using Pear Pizzazz Ink and my Sponge Dauber.  I adhered the pineapple top to the pineapple base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I cut the largest oval from the Layering Ovals Dies out of a panel of Soft Suede cardstock.  I embossed it using my Coastal Weave 3D Embossing Folder.  I adhered the pineapple to the embossed oval using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

For the card base I started with an 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ piece of So Saffron scored and folded at 4 1/4″.  I then cut the front of the card base at 2 3/4″ to the center fold and then up to the top along the center fold.  I adhered a panel of So Saffron to the front piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a panel of Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper to the card front using Snail.

I adhered a strip of the 5/16″ Braided Burlap Trim to the card front using Snail.  I adhered the matted pineapple to the card front over the trim using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  On a small piece of Lovely Lipstick cardstock I stamped the small flower from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink.  I cut the image out using my In The Tropics Dies and adhered it to the left of the pineapple using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a leaf from the Tropical Oasis Trinkets using a Glue Dot, tucked just under the flower.  I added a Lovely Lipstick Happiness Blooms Enamel Dot to the center of the flower.  On a thin strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Soft Suede Ink and made it into a banner using my Paper Snips.  I adhered the sentiment to the top of the pineapple using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of the Whisper White panel.  I stamped the small flower image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom corner of the panel.  I colored the flowers in using my Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the bottom of a So Saffron panel using Snail.   I adhered a panel of the Tropical Oasis DSP to the top of the So Saffron panel using Snail.  I adhered the panel to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated  Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the small flower image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I stamped the pineapple image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom front of the envelope.  I colored the flowers in using my Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of the Tropical Oasis DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
