Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already and heading to a long holiday weekend. I hope you all have Friday off for the 4th of July.
For today I used another new bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. Here’s my card for today.
I started by cutting the ‘HAPPY’ out of a panel of Playing With Patterns 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper using my Happy Dies. I adhered it to a Night of Navy panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the sentiment on an angle on a panel of Purple Posy card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I cut out 2 strips of banners using my Happy Dies, one in Calypso Coral and one in Coastal Cabana. I adhered one above and one below the sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Using my Paper Snips I trimmed all the excess that was hanging over the card front panel. I stamped 1 large balloon and 2 small balloons from the Stampin’ Up! So Much Happy Cling Stamp Set in Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana Inks on a Whisper White panel. I cut the balloons, 3 strings and 3 bows out using my Happy Dies. I adhered the strings to the back of the balloons using Glue Dots and the bows to the front of the balloons using a tiny dot of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the balloons to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I stamped the sentiment from the So Much Happy stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on the Whisper White panel. I fussy cut the sentiment using my Paper Snips and adhered it below the die cut sentiment using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to a Purple Posy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Many Mates Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the large & small balloons and strings from the So Much Happy stamp set in Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana Inks. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Purple Posy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the large & small balloons and strings from the So Much Happy stamp set in Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana Inks. I adhered a panel of Playing With Patterns DSP to the envelope flap.
