Good Saturday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  It is not supposed to be a nice day here.  Severe thunder storms are expected, we’ll see what happens.

My colors for today’s card were inspired by more flowers around my house in my gardens and flower pots and of course these are not my favorites, but the flowers all look so pretty.  The marigolds, I had seeds from last years plants so I threw them in a pot to see what would happen, they are growing like weeds.  The tiny orange flowers attract butterflies and I have them in 3 different gardens.

Here is my card using these colors.

I started by adhering a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Mango Melody mat using Stampin’ Seal then adhering it to a Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I embossed a small panel of Daffodil Delight card stock using the Greenery Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Mango Melody mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the floral image from the Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped the sentiment from the Bloom & Grow stamp set above the image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork to a Mango Melody mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Pumpkin Pie Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I adhered a strip of the In Good Taste DSP to the edge of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Bloom & Grow stamp set in the center of the panel in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I stamped 3 of the small floral images from the Bloom & Grow stamp set on the bottom of the panel and colored them in using my Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Mango Melody mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped 3 of the small floral images from the Bloom & Grow stamp set across the bottom of the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Mango Melody, Poppy Parade and Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.
