Good Monday morning my stamping friends and welcome to August. I can’t believe I’m saying that. This means that this is the last month of Sale-a-bration and things are selling out. How was everyone’s weekend? I hope you were able to do something fun.
Today’s card is one of those cards you don’t want to make, but sometimes you just have to. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Forever Fern Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Cling Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Cling Stamp Set for my card today.
My colors are from the Color Throwdown Challenge #703.
My design is from Freshly Made Sketches #546 – A Sketch by Amy.
I started by using a Post-It note that I cut a circle using the Layered Circles Dies and adhered it to a Very Vanilla card front. Using my Blending Brush, I added Crumb Cake Ink inside the circle. Before removing the mask, I stamped the leaf image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink.
Using another Post-It note and a smaller die from the Layering Circles Dies, I adhered it on the bottom and added Balmy Blue Ink using my Blending Brush. I moved the Post-It note to the top and added Balmy Blue Ink again using my Blending Brush.
I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the top of the panel. I added a small bow with a Glue Dot using Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack. I adhered the card front to a Very Vanilla Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the leaf image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on both sides of the panel. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Crumb Cake mat and then to the inside of the Very Vanilla Thick card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the leaf image from the Forever Fern stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front and flap.
