Stampin’ Up! Brightest Beauty CAS

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. It’s HOT here. We’re supposed to be in the 100’s today. The ‘feel like’ temp for the past week has been over 100 every day. My son has been coming home from work exhausted. He’s a soccer coach and has been outside in the sun for the past week at camps. He brings gallons of water with him and picks up Gatorade or Powerade drinks too. The good thing about the heat we’re having, my tomatoes are ripening, I was able to have my 1st tomato sandwich of the season yesterday and it was delicious.

Today I have a really quick CAS card for you using a new set I just received from the July-December Mini Catalog. I looked over this set at first, but I have to admit, I LOVE it. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Brightest Beauty Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

My colors are from Color Throwdown Challenge #702.

I got my CAS design from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #545.

I started by stamping the leaf image from the Brightest Beauty stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the flower image from the Brightest Beauty stamp set in So Saffron Ink over the leaf image. I randomly stamped the geometric image from the Brightest Beauty stamp set in Pool Party Ink around the outside of the panel.

I cut the stamped panel into 1 1/2″ strips and adhered them to a Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings in Crumb Cake Ink. I fussy cut the sentiment using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Brightest Beauty stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the floral image from the Brightest Beauty stamp set on the side of the panel in Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron Inks. I stamped the geometric image from the Brightest Beauty stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pool Party mat and then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the floral image from the Brightest Beauty stamp set on the envelope front in Pear Pizzazz and So Saffron Inks. I stamped the geometric design from the Brightest Beauty stamp set in Pool Party Ink on the envelope flap.

  1. A tomato sandwich with mayo…yum! I haven’t had that in ages because tomatoes in Florida are no bueno! What great challenges you picked for your card. Love the Go To Greetings Stamp Set!!

    • Thank you so much Susan 🙂 My dad had a garden the length of our garage growing up with tomatoes, peppers, zucchini, watermelon, and much more. It was wonderful
