Stampin’ Up! Leaves of Holly CAS

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Yesterday was such a rainy day here, but we needed it. I went up to my team leaders for our quarterly meeting, which is always so much fun. We stamped 3 different cards using the same set, got to chat a bit and see all the team member from all over the US via Zoom. Here is one of the cards we made yesterday. This one was designed by Akiko Sudano and I just LOVE it. If you have a lot of cards to make to send out this Christmas season, this is a perfect one that can be duplicated very easily.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Leaves of Holly Photopolymer Stamp Set to make my card today using just Stamps, Ink and Paper. I did add a little embellishment too.

I started by stamping the solid berry image from the Leaves of Holly stamp set on the bottom left corner in Real Red Ink. I stamped the detailed berry image from the Leaves of Holly stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Ink over the solid stamped image. I stamped the solid berry image on a piece of Masking Paper and fussy cut the image using my Paper Snips.

I covered the berries with the Masking Paper. I stamped the large, detailed holly leaf image from the Leaves of Holly stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink along the bottom of the panel. I stamped the solid holly leaf image in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the detailed image. I stamped the smaller holly leaf image from the Leaves of Holly stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink along the side of the panel. I stamped the smaller solid holly leaf image in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the detailed image.

I stamped the sentiment from the Leaves of Holly stamp set in Real Red Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Real Red mat. I adhered the layered panel to a Shaded Spruce card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Leaves of Holly stamp set in Real Red Ink on a panel of Basic Whtie cardstock. I stamped the berries and small holly leaf images from the Leaves of Holly stamp set on the top of the panel the same as I did for the card front.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the berry and holly images from the Leaves of Holly stamp set on the envelope front and flap the same as I did for the card.

Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings Josephs Coat

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope everyone’s weekend is going well. I hope you will all take a moment of silence today for all the lives that were lost over 20 years ago. I remember the day like it was yesterday with all our phone going dead and just glued to the tv watching. My children were both in school in lock down until school was over and I could pick them up. I was so scared of what was happening and what could happen. It was a very sad and scary time.

Today’s card is one that we made at our Stamp Camp Class this past Tuesday night. I thought I’d have fun with a couple techniques with the ladies. This one I saw one of my team members make, Mary Deatherage, and I thought it would be perfect with our fall theme. It’s called the Josephs Coat Technique. Today’s card once again uses the Stampin’ Up! Soft Seedlings Cling Stamp Set. This is such a perfect set for fall cards and all kinds of techniques.

I started with a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock and using my Blending Brushes I added Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Pumpkin Pie Inks completely covering the panel. I set the panel to the side to dry completely. You can also use your Heat Tool on the #1 setting to dry the panel. You want to make sure the ink is completely dry before stamping or the embossing powder will stick to the ink and this technique will not work.

Once the panel was completely dry, I stamped the large leaf image from the Soft Seedlings stamp set in Versamark Ink randomly around the panel. I sprinkled it with my Clear Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. Once the panel cooled, I used my Blending Brush again and brushed Early Espresso Ink all over the panel completely covering it again. Once I had the amount of ink I wanted, I took a paper towel and gently rubbed all over the panel wiping the ink off the embossed areas and letting the colors shine through. I adhered the panel to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Very Vanilla Thick card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Soft Seedlings stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered a piece of Old Olive ribbon from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack to the card front. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Textural Element to the card front just under the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I added a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Soft Seedlings stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock. I used my Blending Brushes and added color to the large leaf image from the Soft Seedlings stamp set and stamped the leaves on the panel. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to an Early Espresso mat and then to the inside of the Very Vanilla Thick card base

To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the large leaf image from the Soft Seedlings stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Cajun Craze and Pumpkin Pie Inks.

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Paneled Card

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Did anyone do anything fun? Our Sunday started out to be fun, going to watch my husband drive the racecar. It didn’t end up as much fun though. It started raining then pouring on our way there. There were bad thunderstorms, and everything got delayed for hours. They told us that there were 570 lightening strikes so we had to stay inside a garage for a bit. Even when we got the ok to go out, it was still raining. He had to reschedule, so now we’ll be going again May 14, 2023 (Mother’s Day). This was the last weekend they were going to be in NJ. With all the rain and thunderstorms there, it was dry as a bone at my house.

Today’s card is similar to yesterday’s but switched around a little. A change of direction, stamp set and one color. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sun Prints Suite for my card today.

I started by stamping the fern image from the Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Prints Cling Stamp Set in Blushing Bride Ink randomly on the Blushing Bride card base. I adhered a panel of Sun Prints Designer Series Paper to a Basic White mat and then to the Blushing Bride card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the 3″ X 4″ panel of Basic White cardstock I randomly stamped the images from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot and Night of Navy Inks. I embossed the panel using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I cut the panel into 3 – 1″ strips using my Paper Trimmer. I adhered the strips to the 3 1/4″ X 4 1/8″ panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the layered panel to a Night of Navy mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Gray Granite cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Nature’s Prints stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Natural Prints Dies. I cut 2 of the sprigs from the panel of Gray Granite cardstock. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the sprigs behind the artwork using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Elegant Faceted Gems to the card front.

I adhered the Basic White panel to a Night of Navy mat and then to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base.

Stampin’ Up! Botanical Layers Paneled Card

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. I hope you are all doing well this weekend and doing something fun. I’m off to the races to watch my husband drive. I’m sure it’s going to be a blast.

Today and tomorrow’s cards are similar with a twist. I just love this design. My upline Jaimie had us make this a year ago at a mystery stamping. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Botanical Layers Cling Stamp Set along with the Sun Prints Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering a panel of Sun Prints DSP to a Basic White mat. I adhered the layered panel to a Starry Sky card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the 3″ X 4″ panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the images from the Botanical Layers stamp set in Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot and Starry Sky Inks randomly. I embossed the panel using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. I then cut the panel into 4 – 1″ strips. I adhered the strips to the 3 1/8″ X 4 1/4″ panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the layered panel to a Merry Merlot mat and then to the Starry Sky card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a piece of Gray Granite 1/4″ Shimmer Ribbon to the layered panel using Stampin’ Seal. On a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Layers stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder from the Basic Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using my Natural Prints Dies. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Heart Pearls to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Botanical Layers stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the images from the Botanical Layers stamp set on the panel in Blushing Bride, Gray Granite, Merry Merlot and Starry Sky Inks. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Merry Merlot mat and then to the inside of the Starry Sky card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the images from the Botanical Layers stamp set on the envelope front, the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Sun Prints DSP to the envelope flap.

Today’s card is similar to one I did a while back at our monthly mystery stamping. One of the ladies that comes to my Stamp Camp Card Class asked if we could make that card, but since I’m doing a Christmas in July theme, I adjusted it to that. Here’s my card for today.

I started by adhering a panel of Painted Christmas DSP to a Garden Green card base. I stamped the pine boughs images from the Merriest Moments stamp set in Garden Green and Soft Sea Foam on 3 panels of Basic White cardstock.

I embossed the 3 panels using my Wintry 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panels to Garden Green mats using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the 3 layered panels to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Merriest Moments stamp set on a panel of Basic White cardstock in Garden Green Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Seasonal Labels Dies. I threaded a piece of Garden Green ribbon from the Real Red and Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack through the ends of the die cut sentiment. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Jingle Jingle Jingle on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I adhered the artwork to a Polished Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Flat Jingle Bell Trinket to the artwork using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas to Remember stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the Santa hat outline image from the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set in Tuxedo Black In by the sentiment. I stamped the hat fill image from the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink over the outline image. I adhered a strip of Celebrate Everything DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the Santa hats from the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set on the envelope front first in Tuxedo Black Ink for the outline, then the filler in Poppy Parade Ink. I adhered a panel of Celebrate Everything DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Candy Cane Christmas

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Well, here we are halfway through another week. I can’t believe the end of July is this weekend. I feel like July just started.

I made my 1st Christmas card for today. It cooled off a bit here, so I decided that I would make one. I have to get started some time, right? Also, we have out Stamp Camp Card Class next week and since everyone couldn’t be here last month for Christmas in July, we’re doing Christmas in August theme. The ladies will be making a version of this card next week. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Candy Canes Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Banners Bundle for my card today.

I started by cutting panels of Basic White and Real Red cardstock using the striped die from the Candy Canes Dies. I adhered the 2 panels together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Real Red card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the 2 candy cane images from the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Candy Cane Cling Stamp Set in Real Red Ink. I cut the candy canes out using my Candy Cane Dies. I adhered the candy canes together using a Glue Dot and adhered them to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. From a panel of Garden Green cardstock, I cut 5 of the pine boughs die from the Christmas Banners Dies. I adhered the pine boughs around the candy canes using Glue Dots. I tied a small bow using the Garden Green ribbon from the Real Red & Garden Green 3/8″ Ribbon Combo Pack. I adhered the bow to the candy canes using a Glue Dot.

I adhered a few of the Gold Holly Leaves to the pine boughs using Glue Dots. On the Basic White panel, I stamped the sentiment out using the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Banners Photopolymer Stamp Set. I cut the sentiment out using the Christmas Banners Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Candy Cane stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the candy cane images from the Sweet Candy Cane stamp set in Real Red Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat and then to the inside of the Real Red card base.

Stampin’ Up! Tropical Hideaway

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already and on our way to the weekend.

Today’s card is one that we made last night at our Stamp Camp Card Class. I like to show the ladies some easy techniques when I can, and I’ve always liked the masking technique. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Tropical Hideaway Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Paradise Palms Cling Stamp Set and Stampin’ Up! Season of Chic Bundle for my card today.

I started by using the Chic Dies and cutting a panel of Masking Paper. I adhered the die cut Masking Paper to the center of a Basic White card front. I stamped the Tropical Hideaway stamp on the top using Soft Sea Foam Ink and the bottom using Pool Party Ink. I placed the card front, with mask side down to the stamp, on top of the stamp. I placed a piece of scrap paper on top of the stamp & card front and rubbed it using my hand making sure to press to get a good, stamped image. I carefully removed the paper from the stamp making sure to lift it straight up, so it didn’t smear.

Using my Blending Brush, I added some Petal Pink Ink over the die cut mask before removing it. Once I had coverage the way I wanted, I carefully removed the Masking Paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the card front in the masked area. I adhered the card front to a Petal Pink mat using Stampin’ Seal.

I wrapped a piece of the Soft Sea Foam 3/8″ Seam Binding Ribbon around the layered panel and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Pool Party card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Solid Faceted Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the Tropical Hideaway image on a Basic White panel after stamping off once on scrap paper. It’s a very light image. I stamped the sentiment from Paradise Palms stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the panel. I stamped the seashell image from Season of Chic stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the bottom of the panel, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat and then to the inside of the Pool Party card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the shell image from the Season of Chic stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on the envelope front the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Splendid Day Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s 4th? Did you go to see fireworks?

Today’s card is one that we will be making tonight at my Stamp Camp Card Class. I’m hoping the ladies like this one. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Hello Ladybug Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks for my card today.

I started by using the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks and my Blending Brush and added Highland Heather Ink to a Basic White card front. I adhered a panel of Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card front to a Highland Heather card base.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large leaf image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Granny Apple Green Ink. I fussy cut the leaf using my Paper Snips. I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Ladybug stamp set on the leaf in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the leaf to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the ladybug body and wings from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black and Real Red Inks. On the panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the daisy image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Highland Heather Ink one in full strength and one stamped off. I punched the ladybug body and wings out using the Ladybug Builder Punch. I punched the daisies out using the Medium Daisy Punch. Using the Ladybug Builder Punch, I punched the wings from a panel of Vellum Paper and 2 from a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock. I adhered the stamped wings to the Vellum wings using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the wings to the ladybug body using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 2 daisies together. I cut the Granny Apple Green wings in half and using my Bone Folder I scored the center of the wings and gave them a little fold. I adhered the leaves to the back of the daisy using Glue Dots. I adhered the daisy and ladybug to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Glossy Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the leaf image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Granny Apple Green, stamping off once on scrap paper, on a Basic White panel. I stamped the ladybug image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Real Red and Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the leaf. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat and then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the ladybug image from the Hello Ladybug stamp set in Real Red and Tuxedo Black Inks on the envelope front. Using the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks, I used my Blending Brush and added some Highland Heather Ink on the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Cup of Tea Birthday

Good Monday morning my stamping friends and Happy Independence Day!!! Does anyone have any fun plans for today? It’s going to be a quiet day here. Maybe a little gardening, maybe some card making and just a little BBQ for my husband, daughter and me.

I have a quick card today that I’m thinking about using for my Stamp Camp Card Class tomorrow night. I haven’t decided yet what we are going to make. I guess I should get on that. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cup Of Tea Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set and Tea Boutique 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I played along with the Colorful Options July Challenge Red, White and Blue.

I started by adhering a panel of Tea Boutique DSP to a Starry Sky card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the striped teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink. I stamped the leaf image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on top of the cup. I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on the top of the panel. I embossed the panel using the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered the embossed panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a double bow using the 2022-2024 In-Color Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the teacup handle using a Glue Dot. I added a few 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the leaf image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on top of the cup. I adhered a strip of the Tea Boutique DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat and then to the inside of the Starry Sky card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the teacup image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the leaf image from the Cup of Tea stamp set in Starry Sky Ink on top of the cup. I adhered a panel of Tea Boutique DSP to the envelope flap.
