Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend and Memorial Day? It was a gorgeous weekend and Memorial Day here. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Perfect day to be outside for a picnic and for the bike races, although it was a bit breezy.
Those that know me know that I like layers on my cards. I have a lot of trouble doing simple 1 layer cards. Today’s card is no different, there’s a lot of layers. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Petal Park Photopolymer Stamp Set, Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper, Stylish Shapes Dies and Basics 3 D Embossing Folder for my card today.
I started by stamping the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on the bottom of a panel of Basic White. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Night of Navy mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Using the Stylish Shapes Dies, I cut 9 of the smallest squares from panels of Countryside Inn DSP. I adhered the die cut squares to a panel of Basic White using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the patchwork panel to a Night of Navy mat using Stampin’ Seal.
I adhered the layered panel to a Boho Blue mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the matted panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the layered card front to a Boho Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the small flower image from the Petal Park stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on either side of the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Night of Navy mat then to the inside of the Boho Blue card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small flower image from the Petal Park stamp set in Boho Blue Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Countryside Inn DSP to the envelope flap.
