Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? It was a gorgeous one here in NJ, a perfect sunny and not too hot weekend. I was able to enjoy a bit of my Sunday since I only had to work half day.
Today’s card is similar to one that I made at our mystery stamping last Tuesday. I made another one with the same idea using a different stamp set, DSP and dies. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Kindest Gnomes Bundle along with the Storybook Gnomes Designer Series Paper, Design A Daydream Host Designer Series Paper and the Basic Borders Dies for my card today.
I started by cutting the front of a Pool Party card base using the Basic Borders Dies. I cut a panel of Pool Party cardstock the same way with the Basic Borders Dies. I embossed the panel using the Into The Clouds Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I cut the mushroom house from a panel of Storybook Gnomes DSP using the Gnomes Dies. I adhered the die cut piece to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the gnome image from the Stampin’ Up! Kindest Gnomes Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the image our using my Gnomes Dies. I colored the image using my Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake, Highland Heather, Ivory, Petal Pink and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the gnome to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Fine Sparkle Adhesive-Backed Gems to the card front.
On the inside of the card base, I adhered a panel of Design A Daydream DSP to the bottom portion. On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Inspired Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Calypso Coral mat then to the top inside of the Pool Party card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the gnome image from the Kindest Gnomes stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Design A Daydream DSP to the envelope flap.
