Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? It was a brisk sunny one here. Is everyone ready for another week? I have a very full week ahead planned out already.

My upline Jaimie has done weeks focusing on specific designer series paper. I thought I would give it a try. I have cards planned out for the entire week focusing on one of our beautiful DSP’s from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog, which just happens to be my favorite DSP. Here’s my 1st one for the week which just happens to be a fun fold.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Whimsical Trees Cling Stamp Set along with the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by scoring a full panel of Mint Macaron cardstock. With the 8 1/2″ side on the bottom of the trimmer I scored at 4 1/4″. I turned the cardstock so the 11″ side was on the bottom of the trimmer and I scored at 5 1/2″. I took my score blade out of my trimmer and lined up the corners with the cutting indent and cut the panel from corner to corner making sure to go through the center mark on the cardstock. This will give you 2 card bases. I folded the top triangle down and the side triangle over. I cut a panel of Whimsy & Wonder DSP from corner to corner so that I had 2 triangles. I adhered one of the triangles of the to the front of the Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Mint Macaron cardstock on an angle and embossed it using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the bottom triangle card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I cut a panel of Silver foil from the Silver Foil Specialty Pack using the Encircled in Beauty Dies. Using my Layering Circles Dies I cut a circle from a panel of Basic White cardstock that would fit inside the Encircled in Beauty Die. I stamped the Basic White circle with the sentiment from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the center of the Encircled in Beauty Die. I adhered the layered sentiment to the right side triangle using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the one side of the die cut image. I added a few Mint Macaron Genial Gems to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the tree image from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the tree lights image from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Versamark Ink over the tree image and immediately sprinkled it with my Silver Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Mint Macaron mat and then to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the tree image from the Whimsical Trees stamp set in Mint Macaron Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the tree lights image from the Whimsical Trees stamp set over the tree in Versamark Ink and immediately sprinkled it with Silver Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered a panel of the Whimsy & Wonder DSP to the envelope flap.
