The theme this month is “Celebrate Spring”. We can interpret this however we want. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Daffodil Daydream Easter 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Cling Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set, Country Gingham 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, Basics 3D Embossing Folder, Stylish Shapes Dies and Daffodil Dies for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Daffodil Daydream Easter 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering 2 strips of Country Gingham DSP to either side of a Basic White Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the splatter image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Petal Pink Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using the Daffodil Dies, I cut the stems from a panel of Soft Succulent cardstock, the flower centers from a panel of Petal Pink cardstock, the flower petals from a panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, the butterfly from a panel of Fresh Freesia cardstock and the butterfly body from a scrap of Basic Black cardstock. I adhered all the flower pieces together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flower stems to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Adhered the flowers to the stems using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink and the butterfly in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies and the butterfly using the Daffodil Dies. I colored the butterfly using my Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Blends Marker. I adhered a piece of Petal Pink 3/8″ Soft Polyester Ribbon to the stems using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the butterflies to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Soft Succulent Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the small daffodil and butterfly images from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the panel. I colored the images using my Fresh Freesia, Petal Pink and Soft Succulent Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the splatter image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Petal Pink Ink around the flower and sentiment, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Petal Pink mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick Card base.

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your Demonstrator. Just click HERE to go directly to my online store or drop me an email if you have any questions.

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:    7KF3QB4G

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift. The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog or the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

Please remember to use my current Host Code and make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me, and you’ll get my rewards!

Happy Stamping, Karen

*********************************************************************************************************

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream for Fun Fold Friday Video Tutorial

Good Friday morning my stamping friends. Welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? I did something very different on Wednesday night. A group of us from the dog bakery went to the Spotted Leaf for a terrarium making class. It was so much fun, the instructor started us from the bottom up on making it and we got to pick our own plants to put inside. She said the plants that we were picking only needed to be watered ever 2 weeks. Now I just have to keep it alive. When we were done, some of us went out into the store and purchased more plants. I grow a lot of outside plants and flowers, I don’t have much luck with inside ones, but I thought I’d give it a try.

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Bundle along with the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper, (this is a Sale-a-bration item) and the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set for my card today.

I started with a panel of Daffodil Afternoon DSP and scored it at 2″, 4″, 8″ & 10″. I made a mark 2″ from the bottom of either side and cut up from the mark to the 2nd score line on each side. I adhered the 2 small panels that I cut off on either side to the bottom of the panel on each side. I folded in on the inner 2 score lines and out on the outer 2 score lines.

Using my Daffodil Dies and a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I cut 4 of the daffodil leaf dies and 2 of the daffodil throat dies. From a panel of Pale Papaya cardstock I cut 4 of the detailed leaf dies and 2 of the detailed throat dies. From a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock I cut 2 of the stems and 4 of the leaf dies. I adhered all the parts together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a Stampin’ Dimensional for the daffodil throat to the daffodil leaves. I adhered the daffodil heads to the stem, making sure to face them opposite ways. I adhered the flowers to the inside of the outside folded area using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Cling Stamp Set in Evening Evergreen Ink. I cut the sentiment out using my Painted Labels Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the left side of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels to the sentiment. I adhered the card to a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock for stability.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tulips stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the single daffodil image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink, stamping off once. I stamped the splatter image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink around the daffodil, stamping off once. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat and then to the inside of the card base. I stamped the butterfly image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored it using my Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered it to the inside panel.

To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the single daffodil image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the splatter image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink around the flower image. I adhered a panel of Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. I hope you will CASE this card and please feel free to post it in the comments of my Facebook page under my post. I’d love to see your take on the card. The list of measurements are below if you’d like to stamp along while watching the video. You can watch my video on my Facebook page Here.

You can also view the video on my YouTube channel Here. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends! Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Color Challenge. I played with one of the new Host stamp sets and used my not so favorite color that I really do like with this card. Here is my card using this week’s Colors.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Bundle along with the Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper for my card today.

These are our colors for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Daffodil Afternoon DSP to a Very Vanilla mat and then to a Mossy Meadow card base.

On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the single daffodil image from the Stampin’ Up! Daffodil Daydream Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image in using my Evening Evergreen and Flirty Flaming Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the splatter image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink around the flower, stamping off once. I cut the image out using my Tailored Made Tags Dies. I stamped the butterfly image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink, colored it using my Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers and cut it out using my Daffodil Dies. I adhered the butterfly to the tag using a Stampin’ Dimensional. I tied a piece of Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon to the top of the tag.

I cut the same size Tailor Made Tag from a panel of Daffodil Afternoon DSP. I adhered the DSP tag to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the stamped tag over the DSP tag using Stampin’ Dimensionals. On a strip of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Flowing Flowers Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the strip into a banner using my Banner Pick a Punch and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Very Vanilla Polished Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the single daffodil image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image in using my Evening Evergreen and Pale Papaya Stampin’ Blends Markers. I had stamped 2 of the butterfly images from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set on the Very Vanilla panel. I colored one in using my Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers and adhered it by the flower image. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Very Vanilla mat and then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the single flower image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image in using my Evening Evergreen and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the splatter image from the Daffodil Daydream stamp set in Crushed Curry Ink around the flower, stamping off once. I adhered a panel of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the envelope flap.
