Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Karen’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Sketch Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Sketch.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Joyful Flurry Cling Stamp Set along with the Lights Aglow 6 X 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper for my card today.
Here is our sketch for this week.
I started by adhering a panel of Lights Aglow DSP to a Very Vanilla Thick card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the large snowflake image from the Joyful Flurry stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my Gold Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the snowflake out using my Stylish Shapes Dies. Using the Layering Circles Dies, I cut one a tiny bit larger using Gold Foil paper. I adhered the snowflake image to the Gold Foil paper using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Flurry stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my Gold Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to the card front overlapping the layered circles using a Glue Dot and Stampin’ Dimensional. I added a few Gold Festive Pearls to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Joyful Flurry stamp set in Versamark Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I sprinkled it with my Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I stamped the snowflake image from the Joyful Flurry stamp set on the top of the panel in Versamark Ink and again sprinkled it with my Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I adhered a strip of the Lights Aglow DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Very Vanilla Thick card base.
To complete my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Lights Aglow DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
