Stampin’ Up! Tropical Birthday

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s Memorial Day?  I hope you all enjoyed your day.  It was a beautiful day here. We had a small picnic and enjoyed sitting around just talking and being with people.  My husband was busy with my nieces boys playing bean bag toss and laser tag.  Now it’s back to ‘normal’.  Today is my daughters actual birthday, so I’m hoping to do something with her even if it’s just watching a movie or going for a nice walk.

For today I thought I’d make a tropical card for you using some retiring items and items that are carrying over.  I did use multiple stamp sets for my card. Here’s my card for today.

My design is from CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #373.  Here is their sketch.

I joined in with Seize The Birthday Totally Tropical Challenge #191.

I started by adhering a panel of Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper to a Pear Pizzazz card base using Snail.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the shoreline image from the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Cling Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the palm tree image from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set, which I colored using my Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers, on the shoreline.  I stamped the bird image from the By The Dock stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink above the palm trees 3 times.  I stamped the water image from the Stampin’ Up! High Tide Photopolymer Stamp Set first in Coastal Cabana then in Pacific Point Inks below the shoreline.  I stamped the small grass image from the High Tide stamp set in Garden Green Ink around the base of the palm trees.  I adhered the artwork to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered a piece of the Braided Burlap Trim across the artwork using Glue Dots.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the By The Dock stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink and cut the image out using the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the card front, over the Burlap Trim, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Ukulele Tropical Oasis Trinket to the card front using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink in top center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the shoreline image from By The Dock stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the palm tree image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set, which I colored using my Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers, on the shoreline.  I stamped the bird image from the By The Dock stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink above the palm tree.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Pear Pizzazz card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the shoreline image from the By The Dock stamp set on the bottom front of the envelope in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the palm tree image from the Timeless Tropical stamp set, which I colored using my Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers, on the shoreline.  I stamped the small grass image from the High Tide stamp set in Garden Green Ink around the base of the palm trees.  I adhered a panel of Tropical Oasis DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Thank You By The Dock for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today?  If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge.  Here are the colors we got to work with.

Here’s what I came up with for these colors.

I started by adhering a panel of the Country Club Designer Series Paper to a Whisper White mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted card front to a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies, I then embossed the sentiment using the new Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (available June 3rd).  I cut a panel of Night of Navy cardstock using the larger die from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the larger die cut using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the fern image from the Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Garden Green Ink 3 times on a panel of Vellum cardstock and twice on a panel of Garden Green cardstock.  I cut the images out using my Nature’s Thoughts Dies.

I adhered a piece of the Whisper White 5/8″ Flax Ribbon with a small amount of Snail to the card front.  I arranged the fern the way I liked it on the card front.  I added a little Snail to the back of the matted sentiment  and pressed it down on the fern.  I lifted it all up and added some Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the sentiment and fern and adhered it to the card front.  I added a few Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the By The Dock stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the fern image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set below the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the fern image from the Positive Thoughts stamp set on the envelope front multiple times without reinking the stamp.  I adhered a panel of the Country Club DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, take a minute to hop through all our projects today. Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  I had the day off yesterday and I was going through some items that will be retiring and I came across some things that I hardly used. One of the items was the Stampin’ Up! Come Sail Away Memories and More Card Pack.  There are so many different things in this card pack, I couldn’t believe I didn’t used it more.  So I sat and made a whole set of masculine cards for you today using all different elements from this set that are retiring.  The only thing not retiring is the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set, YAY!!  I don’t have measurements since this is a card pack.  All my cards are either 8 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″ or 4 1/4″ X 11″ scored and folded at 5 1/2″.   My cards can be used as Birthday, Father’s Day, Encouragement or Anniversary cards.  Here are my cards for you.

This set makes great cards and can be used for scrapbook pages too.  I cut a 4 X6 panels down to fit my card base, added a sticker that came in the card pack and I was done.

There are 4″ X 6″ panels and 3″ X 4″ panels that I mixed and matched.  I added a little twine and the card was done. That easy.

Some I left the 3″ X 4″ panels and just added an embossed layer using the new Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (available June 3).

Some I cut down using some of my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  This one uses some of the Come Sail Away DSP also, along with stickers that come with the pack.

This card I added some of the Come Sail Away DSP which coordinates perfectly with the panels, added a sticker and done.

This one I used the Stitched Nested Labels Dies and the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder, I added some of the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and  the Sail Away Trinkets.

I embossed a panel using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder to add some extra texture to this antique looking panel along with some of the Come Sail Away DSP.  I added some Linen Thread and a Sail Away Trinket and I was done.

This card I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies along with the Come Sail Away DSP and some stickers that came with the pack.  I added a few Metallic Pearls and my card was done. The possibilities are endless with this card pack.

The Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack, Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper, Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine and Sail Away Trinkets will all be retiring from the catalog.  Once they are gone that’s it.  If this is something that you love, grab them now.  The best part is they are ALL on CLEARANCE at a discounted price.  Don’t wait!!

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked all the cards I made using this card pack.  This is really an awesome set and there’s much more than I showed.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Rooted In Nature for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers. Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Blog Hop. It’s the 2nd Tuesday of the month so that means Blog Hop Day!! If you are starting with me, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. If you’ve hopped over from Mary Deatherage’s blog, welcome to my blog and thank you for stopping by. The theme this month is “For The Boys/Men”. We can interpret this any way that we’d like.  I made a Father’s Day Card for you.  Here’s my card.

I started by adhering a panel of the Country Club Designer Series Paper to a Garden Green Mat using Snail.  I embossed a Whisper White strip of cardstock using the Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I wrapped a Garden Green and Night of Navy piece of Twine  from the Country Club Twine Combo Pack around the card front and tied a knot.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the tall tree image from the Stampin’ Up! Rooted In Nature Cling Stamp Set which I colored using my Garden Green and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers.  I cut the image out using the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut the next size oval out from the Layering Ovals Dies from Garden Green cardstock. I adhered the artwork to the Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the leaf image from the Rooted In Nature stamp set in Garden Green Ink, stamping off twice.  I stamped the sentiment from the Rooted In Nature stamp set in Garden Green Ink over the leaf image.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut the next size larger circle from the Layering Circles Dies from Garden Green cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment to the Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the card front, overlapping the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to a Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Silver Metallic Pearls to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Wish For Everything Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the tall tree image from the Rooted In Nature stamp set on the left side of the panel, which I colored using my Garden Green and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the tall tree image from the Rooted In Nature stamp set which I colored using my Garden Green and Soft Suede Stampin’ Write Markers, on the front of the envelope.  I adhered a panel of the Country Club DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Now that you’ve seen my card, be sure to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Hit Previous to hop back to Mary’s blog or hit Next to head over to Sue’s blog. You can also click on each of the names and hop around that way. Happy Hopping!!

Stampin’ Up! Touched My Heart Sympathy CAS

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends.  Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, grandmothers, God mothers, mothers to be, step mothers, aunts, animal mothers and all our angle mothers.  I hope you all have a very enjoyable day. I’m hoping to get in some crafting time since we really can’t go anywhere.  This will be my first without my mom, so it’s going to be a little tough for me.

Today’s card is one of those we don’t like to make, but we have to.  I received my preorder last week and one of the sets I received was a Host exclusive set which just happen to have a Sympathy sentiment in it.  Here’s my card for today.

My design was inspired by Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #434.  They had the perfect clean and simple design for my sympathy card.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of the Old Olive Regals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to an Old Olive card base using Snail.

I cut 2 rectangles out using the Stitched Rectangles Dies from a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I embossed the rectangles using the new Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder (available June 3rd).  I adhered the rectangles to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a Whisper White panel I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Touched My Heart Host Cling Stamp Set (available June 3rd) in Old Olive Ink.  I stamped the leaf image from the Touched My Heart stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink below the sentiment, stamping off twice.  I cut the image out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Path of Petals Photopolymer Stamp Set in Old Olive Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the leaf images from the Touched My Heart stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on either side of the sentiment stamping off once.  I adhered a strip of the Old Olive Regals 6 X 6 DSP to the bottom of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the leaf images from the Touched My Heart stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Old Olive Regals 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and have a wonderful day.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Birthday

Good Saturday morning my fellow stampers.  The weekend is upon us and we are back to chilly weather here.  I covered all my plants last night to save them from the frost.  I’ve got to work today, but I have off tomorrow for Mother’s Day.  How about all of you, what is everyone up to this weekend?

I’ve got a masculine card for you today using some of the new DSP from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  Here’s my card for today.

My card today played along with the Aud Sentiments Challenge #250.  Their theme is ‘Masculine + A Sentiment’.

I also played along with Festive Friday Challenge #0058.  Here is their Inspo List.  I used copper, green and circles.  There’s also stripes from the wood.

I started by adhering a panel of the gorgeous new In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to a Shaded Spruce card base using Snail.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the detailed mountain image from the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink.  I flipped the stamp over and stamped the reverse image in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once, behind the detailed mountain.  I stamped the tree image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink below the mountain image.  I stamped the cloud/moon image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink above the mountain.  I colored the moon in using my So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the bird image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink above the mountains 3 times.  I cut the image out using the largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped mat out of a Copper Foil Sheet using the largest scallop circle from the Layering Circles Dies.  I adhered the artwork to the copper mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I cut the image out using the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I cut a scalloped circle from a Copper Foil Sheet using the Layering Circles Dies.  I adhered the sentiment to the Copper mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I tied a small bow from the Linen Thread and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Shaded Spruce Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the detailed mountain image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I reversed the stamp and stamped the image behind the mountains in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the tree image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink below the mountain image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Shaded Spruce card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the detailed mountain image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front.  I reversed the stamp and stamped the image behind the mountain in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I adhered a panel of the In Good Taste DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! A Good Man Sailing Home

Good Tuesday Cinco De Mayo morning my stamping friends.  How has everyone’s week started off?  Today’s an extra special day for us demonstrators, we get to place our preorder for the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  That means that I will be ordering my catalogs and if you are one of my customers, you will be getting yours in the mail real soon.

For today’s card I made you a masculine card.  I figured you were getting tired of Mother’s Day cards, so I moved on to Father’s Day.  I don’t make nearly as many Father’s Day cards though.  Here’s my card for today.

I started by adhering a panel of the retiring Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base using Snail.

On a panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the lighthouse image from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink.  I cut the image out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies.  I cut a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock an 1/8″ larger that the rectangle I used for a mat and adhered it to the center of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I added some Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine to the Sahara Sand using a little Snail.

I adhered the artwork to the Sahara Sand mat on top of the bakers twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added one of the Sail Away Trinkets to the end of the bakers twine using a Glue Dot.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! A Good Man Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink.  I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink, stamping off once, over the sentiment.  I stamped the bird image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink above the lighthouse.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Sahara Sand mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lighthouse image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on the envelope flap.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Thanks for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday.  How was everyone’s week?  The weekend is here once again.  My team has a fun event planned for tomorrow starting at 1pm.  We will be doing Facebook live videos showcasing the Ornate Garden Suite, there will even be giveaways at the end of the event.  You will just need to leave a comment during the live videos.  I’m planning on going live at 5pm.  Our Facebook page is all set up for the event and it’s open for joining!  Click this link to go to the group and then click the “join” button and we’ll get you approved ASAP: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1833741716756137/  Looking forward to seeing you there.

For today’s card I used a suite from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog which will be ending the beginning of June.  I don’t know if these items will be carrying over, so I wanted to make sure I got to use them.  My card is actually 2 cards in one.   Here’s my card.

I played along with the Watercooler Wednesday Challenge #267.  Here is their theme.

I started with a Crumb Cake card base which is larger than normal.  It’s 5 1/2″ X 10″ scored and folded at 4 1/4″ & 8 1/2″.

I adhered 2 panels of Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to Night of Navy mats using Snail and then adhered them to the front of the card base and the small fold over piece using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered a smaller panel of Come Sail Away DSP to a Night of Navy mat using Snail.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sailing Home Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink on a small Whisper White panel.  I cut the sentiment out using the banner die from the Smooth Sailing Dies and adhered it to the small card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside of the small card base, I stamped the sentiment from the Sailing Home stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a small Whisper White panel.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink to the right of the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the small Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the small card base to the fold over panel of the large card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, only on 1″ of the back near the fold.  I wrapped a piece of the Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Bakers Twine around the card bases and tied a bow on the left side.  I adhered the small card front to the small card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a Sail Away Trinket just below the sentiment using Glue Dots.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Ornate Thanks Photopolymer Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the compass image from the Sailing Home stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink overlapping the compass image.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the compass image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the envelope front, stamping off once.  I stamped the anchor image from the Sailing Home stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink overlapping the compass image.  I adhered a panel of Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up! By The Dock for Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. How is everyone doing today? Hope you are all staying heathly and safe. If you are hopping over from Akiko, thank you for stopping by my blog. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects today. This week we had a Color Challenge, here are the colors we got to work with.

Here’s what I came up with for these colors.

My design is from Global Design Projects Sketch Challenge #234.  Here is their sketch.

I started by adhering a panel of Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper to a Soft Suede card base using Snail.

On a Whisper White cardstock panel I stamped the shoreline and bird images from the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink.  I cut the image out using the 2nd largest circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies.  I stamped the boat and oars images from the By The Dock stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the Whisper White panel.  I colored the images in using my Dark Real Red and Light Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the frog image from the By The Dock stamp set in Old Olive Ink and colored it in using my Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the images out using the Dockside Dies.  From a small panel of Old Olive cardstock I cut the shoreline from the Dockside Dies out.  I cut the die cut in half using my Paper Snips.  I cut a banner using my Banner Triple Punch from a small panel of Real Red cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthday’s Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the banner.  I embossed the banner using my Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered the banner to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the boat, oars and frog to the stitched circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Glue Dots.  I adhered the artwork to the banner using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the shoreline die behind the artwork using Glue Dots.  I stamped a couple more of the birds from the By The Dock stamp set on the card front in Soft Suede Ink.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the boat image from the By The Dock stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored it in using my Dark Real Red and Light Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the bird image from the By The Dock stamp set 3 times above the sentiment in Soft Suede Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Real Red mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Soft Suede card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the boat and frog images from the By The Dock stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the envelope front.  I colored the images in using my Old Olive, Dark Real Red and Light Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the bird image from the By The Dock stamp set in Soft Suede Ink, 3 times in the center of the envelope front.  I adhered a panel of the Tropical Oasis DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air CAS Birthday

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends.  How is everyone doing today?  We’re halfway through the week already and the weekend is just around the corner.

I have a CAS masculine birthday card for you today using another great set from the 2020 January – June Mini Catalog. I know how we all struggle with masculine cards and this set made it really easy for me.  Here’s my card for today.

My design is from the Fab Friday Skitch Challenge #185.  Here is their sketch.

My colors were inspired from “Just Us Girls” Challenge #528.  Here are their colors.

I also played along with Always Fun Challenge #155.  Their theme is “Birthday Wishes”.

I started by adhering a panel of the Country Club Designer Series Paper to a Night of Navy card base using Snail.  I adhered a panel of the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper to a Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the reverse mountain image from the Stampin’ Up! Mountain Air Photopolymer Stamp Set in Gray Granite Ink across the panel, stamping off once.  I turned the image around and stamped just below the  first image using Gray Granite Ink.  I stamped the landscape tree image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Garden Green Ink below the mountains.  I stamped the flying birds image from the Mountain Air stamp set 3 times in Night of Navy Ink above the mountains.

I stamped the cloud image from the Mountain Air stamp set on the top of the panel in Night of Navy Ink stamping off twice.  I colored the moon/sun in using my So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork to a Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Birthdays Cling Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink on a small panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the sentiment to a Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the bottom of the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set in Night of Navy Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the mountain image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on the bottom of the panel.  I stamped the landscape tree image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Garden Green Ink below the mountains.  I stamped the bird image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Night of Navy Ink 3 times above the mountains.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Garden Green mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the mountain image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Gray Granite on the bottom of the envelope front.  I stamped the landscape tree image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Garden Green Ink below the mountain image.  I stamped the bird image from the Mountain Air stamp set in Night of Navy Ink 3 times above the mountains.  I adhered a panel of the Country Club DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
