Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. How has everyone’s week started off? I hope you have a good one!!
Today’s card is a clean and simple card with very little stamping and focuses on Designer Series Paper. For years I didn’t know what to do with DSP, so I would hoard it. NO HOARDING DSP!!!! We need to use our paper to make beautiful cards. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Full Of Love Cling Stamp Set for my sentiments along with the Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper for my card today.
I started by adhering a panel of the Happy Forest Friends DSP to a Sahara Sand card base. I adhered a smaller panel of the Happy Forest Friends DSP to a Calypso Coral mat.
I adhered the layered panel to a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a strip of Old Olive cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Full Of Love stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I tied a small bow using the Linen Thread and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Full Of Love stamp set in Sahara Sand Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the Happy Forest Friends DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Calypso Coral mat and then to the inside of the Sahara Sand card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Happy Forest Friends DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
