Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. I hope you are all having a great week. By the time you read this I will already be at work. I had to go in early today to get done what I have to. My husband, daughter and I will be catching the 11am train to New York City to go see a play. The play is at 2pm which means, I will not be going live today on my Facebook page. Last week when I said I’d be back this week, I completely forgot about the play. I will plan on being back next Wednesday at 4pm. If I’m able to go live another day, I’ll let you know on my Facebook page.
Today’s card is a clean and simple one using only Stamps, Ink and Paper. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Amazing Phrasing Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Go To Greetings Cling Stamp Set and the Artistic Mix Decorative Masks for my card today.
I played along with Just Us Girls Trend Week Challenge #645, Use A Stencil.
My colors are from the Cupcake Inspiration Color Challenge #550.
I started by placing the Artistic Mix Decorative Mask over a Basic White card front. I adhered a strip of Post-It Tape through the middle of the mask and panel. Using my Blending Brush, I added Blushing Bride Ink on the top and bottom of the tape.
I stamped the sentiments from the Amazing Phrasing stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink in the un-inked area.
I adhered the stenciled card front to a Smoky Slate mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Blushing Bride card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside, I used my Artistic Mix Mask and added Blushing Bride Ink with my Blending Brush on the top of a Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set in smoky Slate Ink below the stenciling. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Smoky Slate mat and then to the inside of the Blushing Bride card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. Using the Artistic Mix Mask, I used my Blending Brush and added Blushing Bride Ink to the bottom front of the envelope and the envelope flap. I stamped the sentiment from the Amazing Phrasing stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front.
