Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Hello

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. I hope everyone’s week started off great!! I’m counting the hours now until I can see the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I’m so excited to see the new colors and new products. I’m even more excited to be able to order some of the items next week, YAY!!! I love this perk of being a demonstrator, I think it’s one of my favorites.

Today I played with a new bundle that I hadn’t pulled out and inked up yet. I just love this set and had so much fun with it. I also played with some shimmer paper that hadn’t seen much love from me yet. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Bundle along with the Textured Shimmer Paper and Fine Shimmer Paper for my card today.

My colors are from the Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #410.

I started by adhering a panel of Balmy Blue Textured Shimmer Paper to a Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the line & dotted image from the Stampin’ Up! Around The Bend Photopolymer Stamp Set in Balmy Blue Ink. I cut the panel using the scalloped die from Around The Bend Dies. I cut a coordinating scalloped mat from a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from the Around The Bend stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on the top of the Basic White panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to the Pear Pizzazz mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Around The Bend Dies, I cut 2 of the flowers from a panel of Fresh Freesia Fine Shimmer Paper, the leaf dies from a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock and the flower center from a scrap of Basic White. I adhered the 2 flowers together using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flowers to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the leaves under the flower using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the flower center with a Stampin’ Dimensional.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Around The Bend stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on a panel of Basic White. I cut the top of the panel using another one of the Around The Bend Dies. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pear Pizzazz mat then to the inside of the Balmy Blue card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the corner leaf image from the Around The Bend stamp set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on the front of the envelope. I adhered a panel of Balmy Blue Textured Shimmer Paper to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! has announced that, in addition to the new 2023-2025 In Colors, we’ll be getting some new colors in the core color families (Brights, Neutrals, Regals and Subtles) with the new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog! You’ll find some new friends and returning favorites among our Brights, Neutrals, Regals, and Subtles. And you won’t want to miss our new 2023–2025 In Colors. Price Changes Coming With The 2023-2024 Annual Catalog

Stampin’ Up! let us know that some of the items in the new catalog will have higher prices when the catalog is launched on May 2.  The prices for all items that are carrying over will continue to be the current catalog prices through May 1.  So now is a great time to stock up on any favorites before the price increases happen in early May!  We have not been told any specifics on the amount that the prices will increase but we have been given a list of items that will increase in price with the new catalog.

Due to increased costs to produce these items, beginning May 2 new prices will be in effect within the following product categories:

Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Here we are halfway through the week already. I hope your week is going well.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. It’s the second challenge of the month, we are posting two challenge photos!  You can choose whichever photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo! The inspiration photo #191a is Signs of Spring and #191b is Butterfly Blues.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes Photopolymer Stamp Set, Basics 3D Embossing Folder and Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my Clean and Layered Card. I was inspired by the inspiration photo #191a by the colors and the eggs in the photo.

I started by adhering 2 strips of Neutrals DSP to the top and bottom of a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the branch image from the Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the center of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the nest and bird from the Nested Friends stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the nest using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and the bird using Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using the Nested Friends Dies. I stamped the splotch image from the Nested Friends stamp set in So Saffron Ink on a panel of So Saffron cardstock. Using the Nested Friends Dies, I cut the eggs from the panel of So Saffron and the leaves from a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock. I adhered the nest to the branch using Stampin’ Dimensionals, the eggs and bird to the nest using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I cut the end of the strip using the Happy Label Pick A Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Enamel Dot Essentials to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Nested Friends stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of Neutrals DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a So Saffron mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

Stampin’ Up! Plentiful Plants for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends, Happy March!!! March is here that means that spring will be here soon, right? I sure hope so, even though we really aren’t having a Winter here in NJ. Looking around outside in my gardens, all my bulbs are coming up and I’ve even seen some flowers. As much as I love a good snowstorm, I’m afraid that if we get one it will kill my flowers.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #190 is Lucky Charm.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Plentiful Plants Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Perfect Plants Dies and Delicate Desert Designer Series Paper for my Freestyle Collage card today. I was inspired by all the green plants in the photo and the Black & White Gingham around the candle.

I started by adhering a panel of the Delicate Desert DSP to a panel of Gray Granite cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the plant and flowerpot images from the Plentiful Plants stamp set in Early Espresso, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite and Shaded Spruce Inks. I cut all the images out using the Perfect Plants Dies. From panels of Granny Apple Green and Gray Granite cardstock, I cut the smaller flowerpots, plant hanger and plants.

I adhered the plants to the flowerpots using Glue Dots and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the potted plants to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I wrapped a piece of Black & White 1/4″Gingham Ribbon around the side of the panel and tied a knot. I stamped the sentiment from the Plentiful Plants stamp set on a panel of Basic White cardstock in Gray Granite Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the 2nd smallest Stitched Rectangle Dies, off centering it a bit. I adhered the sentiment to the card front over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals, hanging over the left side of the card front. I trimmed the sentiment using my Paper Snips. I adhered the card front to a Gray Granite card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Faux Sea Glass Shapes to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Plentiful Plants stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Plentiful Plants stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the plant image from the Plentiful Plants stamp set inside the pot in Garden Green Ink. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Garden Green mat then to the inside of the Gray Granite card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flowerpot image from the Plentiful Plants on the envelope front in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the plant in the pot in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the hanging plant from the Plentiful Plants stamp set on the top front of the envelope in Granny Apple Green Ink. I adhered a panel of Delicate Desert DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Did everyone have a nice Valentine’s Day? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend already.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #189a is Cozy Comfort and inspiration photo 189b is Vintage Hearts.  There are 2 photos this week and you get to pick which one inspires you. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Bundle, the Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper and the Vellum Layering Designs Paper for my Clean and Layered card today. I was inspired by the hearts and colors from inspiration photo 189b.

I started by stamping the large heart image from the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Photopolymer Stamp Set in Sweet Sorbet Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I adhered the stamped image to a Vellum Layering Designs Paper card front using Stampin’ Seal. I cut a strip of Country Floral Lane DSP using the Marigold Moments Dies. I adhered the scalloped strip just under the artwork using Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered the Vellum Layering Designs card front to a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock using Stampin’ Seal under the artwork and along the top under the ribbon. I wrapped a piece of Burlap Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack, around the top of the panel and tied a bow. I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink to the right wide of the strip. I stamped the small heart image from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the left side of the strip. I cut the small heart out using the Country Bouquet Punch. I cut the sentiment into a banner using the Banner Pick A Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the small heart under the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I added a few Matte Black Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the heart image from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Sweet Sorbet mat then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the heart image from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink on the envelope front twice. I adhered a panel of the Country Floral Lane DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends Happy February!!! A new month already. We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. I’m still trying to wrap my head around it being February already. Winter usually goes very slow for me since I hate the cold. We’ll see tomorrow what the ground hog has to say about winter staying or spring around the corner.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #188 is Floral Valentine.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowering Tulips Photopolymer Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Photopolymer Stamp Set and the 2021-2023 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my Clean and Layered card today. I was inspired by the colors, the tulips in the photo and the overall theme this week.

I started by adhering a panel of 2021-2023 In-Color DSP to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Sweet Sorbet card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the tulip stem from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink 3 times and the leaf image 3 times. I stamped the smaller tulip image from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Polished Pink Ink. I stamped the details image full strength and the fill image stamped off once on scrap paper. I stamped the larger tulip image from the Flowering Tulips stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink, stamping it the same as I did for the smaller tulip. I cut the image out using the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set on the top of the die cut panel in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I adhered the artwork to a Basic Black mat using Stampin’ Seal. I wrapped a piece of Polished Pink 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon around the layered panel and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots to the card front.

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends. I hope everyone’s week has started out well.

I finally got a little time yesterday after work to sit down and create a little. I had gotten a pack of DSP from Sale-a-bration and I wasn’t sure what to do with it. Ideas finally started coming to me yesterday and I put together a few cards using it. Here is one of the cards I made.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Thanks A Bunch Photopolymer Stamp Set and Day At The Farm Designer Series Paper for my card today. Both of these items are free with qualifying orders of $50 or more. Spend $100 and you can get both.

My design is from my upline Jaimie. She has been giving us a new sketch every week to work with. I’ve been having fun creating with her sketches.

I started by adhering a panel of Day At The Farm DSP to a Garden Green card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a small panel of Day At The Farm DSP to a Basic White mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped a strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock with the splatter image from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink. I cut both ends using the Banner Pick A Punch. I adhered the banner to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a thin strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Garden Green Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Daffodil Delight Glossy Dots Assortment to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a panel of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the small carrot image from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set in Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green Inks on either side of the sentiment . I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the small carrot image from the Thanks A Bunch stamp set on the envelope front in Pumpkin Pie and Garden Green Ink. I adhered a panel of Day At The Farm DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you. Here is my card using this week’s sketch.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Beautifully Happy Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Subtle 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper today for my card.

I started by adhering a panel of Highland Heather Subtle DSP to a Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the large outline flower image from the Beautifully Happy stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the solid flower image from the Beautifully Happy stamp set in Orchid Oasis Ink over the outline image. I stamped the solid leaf image from the Beautifully Happy stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink over the outline image. I stamped the splatter image from the Beautifully Happy stamp set around the flower image in Highland Heather Ink. I cut the basic White panel and a panel of Parakeet Party cardstock using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I adhered the artwork to the Parakeet Party panel on an angle using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Orchid Oasis cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Beautifully Happy stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment using the smallest Deckled Rectangle Dies. I adhered a piece of Parakeet Party 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon to the artwork using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Heart Pearls to the center of the flower and the sentiment panel.

I adhered the Basic White panel to a Parakeet Party mat then to the inside of the Highland Heather card base.

Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Park for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. I hope everyone’s week is going well. We’re halfway through and on our way to the weekend.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #187a is Winter Cocoa and inspiration photo #187b is Winter Snow.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sentimental Park Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Stampin’ Up! Ringed With Nature Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the By The Bay 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today. I was inspired by the colors from inspiration photo #187a for my clean & layered card.

I started by embossing a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder. I cut a panel of By The Bay DSP using the Deckled Rectangle Dies. I adhered the die cut panel of By The Bay DSP to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the Cherry Cobbler card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from Sentimental Park stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the DSP panel. I wrapped a piece of Crumb Cake Bakers Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack, around the card front 3 times and tied a knot.

Using the Tree Rings Dies with the Tree Rings Hybrid Embossing Folder, I cut a panel of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso cardstock. I cut the center out from the Crumb Cake panel using the Tree Rings Dies. I adhered the Crumb Cake center to the Early Espresso panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered tree ring to the card front, over the bakers twine, using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Christmas Pinecone Dies I cut the detailed die from a panel of Early Espresso cardstock and the solid image from a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock, 3 times each. I adhered the detailed pinecones to the solid pinecones using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered pinecones to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to an Early Espresso card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Enamel Dot Essentials to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the tree ring image from the Ringed With Nature stamp set on a panel of Basic White cardstock in Crumb Cake Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the sentiments from the Sentimental Park stamp set in Early Espresso Ink over the tree ring image. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat then to the inside of the Early Espresso card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic Whtie Medium Envelope. I stamped the tree ring image from the Ringed With Nature stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Ringed With Nature stamp set in Early Espresso Ink over the tree ring image. I adhered a panel of By The Bay DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Did anyone do anything fun or maybe just took time to relax? I worked all day on Saturday and Sunday I took some time in my craft area.

Today’s card is a super simple Clean and Simple card. My design is from my upline Jaimie. She’s giving us a new sketch challenge each week. Having a sketch sometimes in front of you can make the card process go so much faster. Here’s my card for today.

I started by cutting the largest circle from the Layering Circles Dies out of a panel of Masking Paper. I placed the Masking Paper on a Basic White card front. Using my Blending Brush, I added Fresh Freesia Ink only on the inside of the circle. I removed the Masking Paper.

I stamped the floral image from the Decorative Borders stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink around the inked circle image.

Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls Baby Card

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Hope you have some fun plans and are staying warm. I’ll be at work all day today. I didn’t get much de-Christmasing done yesterday, after Coraline’s training I think I was more tired than her LOL. We were practicing on and off all day with things I learned. I asked the trainer who was being trained, Coraline or me, she laughed and said me.

I have some babies coming this year and one that has already been born, so I thought I should get to work with making baby cards. I don’t have a baby set, so I used one of the Sale-a-brations sets. This set is available for free with a qualifying order of $50 during Sale-a-bration. My card used just Stamps, Ink and Paper today. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Adorable Owls Sale-a-bration Cling Stamp Set, the Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Dandy Designs Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper for my card today.

My design is from my upline, Jaimie, that is giving us sketch challenges each week.

I started by adhering a panel of Dandy Designs DSP to a Night of Navy mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Balmy Blue card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the owl image from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Balmy Blue, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Night of Navy mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a strip of Night of Navy cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional and Stampin’ Seal. I added a few Opaque Adhesive-Backed Gems to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a Basic Whtie panel. I adhered a strip of Dandy Designs DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Night of Navy mat then to the inside of the Balmy Blue card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the owl image from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front and colored the image the same as I did for the card. I stamped the sentiment from the Adorable Owls stamp set in Night of Navy Ink above the owl. I adhered a panel of Dandy Designs DSP to the envelope flap.
