Stampin’ Up One For All Quick and Easy card

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  We’re half way through the week already.  Hope you are all having a good week.

For today’s card I have a quick and easy card for you.  I needed a card for a young girl and I think this fits.  Here’s my card.

I started with a Lemon Lime Twist card base and stamped the front using the Stampin’ Up Sheet Music Stamp in Lemon Lime Twist Ink.

On a small panel of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the large sentiment from the Stampin’ Up One For All Stamp Set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Berry Burst mat using Snail.

I adhered the matted artwork to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the silhouette image from the One For All stamp set in Berry Burst Ink on a Whisper White panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Berry Burst mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Lemon Lime Twist card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope using some of the Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my quick and easy card and will give it a try.  If you liked the stamp sets I used for my card today and don’t have them, they will be retiring as of June 3rd.  So now’s the best time to grab them.      Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Life Is Grand

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  Well we made it through another week.  Is anyone doing anything fun this weekend?

For today’s card I’m using the soon to retire Stampin’ Up Life Is Grand Stamp Set and Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper.  I’m also giving you a sneak peek of one of the new dies in the up coming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog. I’ve got a really quick and easy card for you here.  Here’s my card.

I started with a panel of the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper as a card front and wrapped a piece of the Rich Razzleberry 1/4″ Velvet Ribbon (retiring June 3rd) around it.  I adhered the card front to a Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from Life Is Grand stamp set in Rich Razzleberry Ink.  I cut the sentiment out using my Big Shot and the NEW Stitched Nested Labels Dies (available June 4th).  I adhered the label to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls (retiring June 3rd) to it along with a piece of the 1/4″ Velvet Ribbon tied into a knot.

On the inside I stamped a sentiment from the Life Is Grand stamp set in Rich Razzleberry Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I added a strip of the Share What You Love Specialty DSP to the bottom of the panel using Snail.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Mint Macaron card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I adhered a piece of the Share What You Love Specialty DSP to the envelope front and envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my quick and easy card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Sneak Peek

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers and Happy May Day everyone! .  We’re half way through the week and on our way to the weekend.  I can’t believe it’s May already. Before you know it, Memorial Day will be here.

For today’s card I have a little sneak peek for you from the up coming 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  It’s the Stampin’ Up Sailing Home Bundle.  This was the first set that caught my eye and I just had to have it.  I’ve also made a fun fold card for you.  Here’s my card.

I joined in with the TGIF Inspiration Challenge #209 .  Here’s their challenge.

I started with a Soft Suede card base and scored it at 5 1/2″ and 2 3/4″.  I adhered a panel of the up coming Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper to the inside.  I just love news print paper on cards.

I took a small panel of the Soft Suede cardstock and ran it through my Big Shot using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  This folder will be retiring as of June 3rd, so now’s the time to grab it if it’s something you’ve been wanting.  I stamped the anchor, lighthouse, sailboat and sentiment images from the Sailing Home stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on a panel of Sahara Sand cardstock.  I then cut them out using the Smooth Sailing Dies.  I also cut a strip of Sahara Sand cardstock and sponged it with Soft Suede Ink using my Stamping Sponge.

I arranged the pieces the way I wanted to on the embossed panel.  I adhered them using Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the card front to the front panel of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the small inside panel I adhered a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up High Tide Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink.  I stamped the grass and birds from the same stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Sahara Sand Ink stamping off once.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I started by sponging all around the front and back of the envelope with Soft Suede Ink and my Stamping Sponge.  I stamped the lighthouse and sailboat from the Sailing Home stamp set in Soft Suede Ink.  I adhered a panel of the Come Sail Away DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope that you liked my card.  This stamp set, dies and DSP will all be available June 4th for purchase.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Postcard Pals

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  Well another week almost over and the weekend is upon us.  Is anyone starting to make plans?  I’m hoping it’ll be a nice one.

For today’s card I made you another clean and simple card using another soon to retire set, the Stampin’ Up Postcard Pals Stamp Set.   I am really going to miss this set.  I just love all the little critter images from it.  I also used all retiring 2017-2019 In-Colors on my card.  Here’s today’s card.

I started with a panel of Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper and adhered it to a Tranquil Tide card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the platypus image from the Postcard Pals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Bronze, Crumb Cake, Mint Macaron, Night Of Navy, Soft Sea Foam and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set on the top of the Whisper White panel in Tranquil Tide Ink.  I adhered 2 strips of the Tranquil Textures DSP to the back of the artwork using Snail.

I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Postcard Pals stamp set in Tranquil Tide Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered 2 strips of the Tranquil Textures DSP to the left side of the Whisper White panel using Snail.  I adhered the panel to the inside of the Tranquil Tide card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the platypus from the Postcard Pals stamp set on the envelope front in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I adhered a piece or the Tranquil Textures DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my quick and easy card and will give it a try.  This stamp set, cardstock and designer series paper will all be retiring on June 3rd.  If it’s something you’ve been wanting, don’t wait grab it while you can.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up April Paper Pumpkin

Goods Friday morning my fellow stampers.  How was everyone’s week?   I’ve had an interesting couple of days.  For some of you that know me, I had to have shoulder surgery Wednesday.  Last June I tore my rotator cuff and the surgeon said he had to do a lot of repairing of my biceps.  I’ve been with one arm for the past few months waiting till I could make an appointment to get it repaired.   With that being said, I am 1 armed right now in a sling and all bandaged up.  I’m typing with one hand, luckily I’m a pretty good typist and I made all these cards with one hand.  The most challenging part was trying to make bows, but I was determined and I did it.  I’m the type of person that nothing will stop me.  I’m very determined and stubborn and I won’t let anything get me down.   I was determined to have a card ready to blog for you for today and I not only made 1, but I made 9 along with a case to hold them.  It’s the April Paper Pumpkin Kit.  Take a look.

I don’t really have my normal step by step instructions for you, but I have the pictures of all the cards inside and out.

After I made all the cards I made the box that came with the kit for the cards to go in.  The Stampin’ Up Paper Pumpkin Kits come with everything you need.  Of course I had to add some extras, because that’s what I do.  Your 1st kit comes with a clear block and you use that block for all future sets.  Everything comes cut for you, all adhesives are included.  Each kit comes with a new stamp set, ink spot, envelopes, embellishments and step by step instructions.  These kits are great for on the go.  They are perfect for new stampers that want to get their feet wet without investing in too much to see if they like stamping (but who doesn’t like creating beautiful cards).

A couple of them I followed the instructions, but again those who know me know I do my own thing.  I never have 2 cards exactly the same.  I’ve never liked duplicating cards.  Even when I make my Christmas cards, if I’m sending out 50, it’s 50 different cards.

I added sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Strong & Beautiful Stamp Set to the Mother’s Day cards.

I made a couple of them into birthday cards.

And stamped the inside with sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set.

I made a couple of them into thank you cards.

And stamped the inside with sentiments from the Stampin’ Up A Big Thank You Stamp Set.

The last ones I made into thinking of you and best wishes.

And stamped the insides with sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  This just goes to show that even someone with only 1 arm can make cards.  I did cut liners for the inside of each card and it was easier than I thought it would be.  I hope you liked my cards and would consider subscribing to the Paper Pumpkin.  If you are interested in subscribing, click here.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and those who celebrate, have a Blessed Easter.  Happy Stamping!!

The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).

If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog!  All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.

Here is the list of stamp sets that WILL be in the 2019-2020 Annual Catalog.  The stamp sets on this list will not be retiring, they will simply be transitioned to Cling Mount moving forward:

Stampin’ Up Soon To Retire Birthday Sentiments

Good Thursday morning my fellow stampers.  The weekend is right around the corner, is anyone doing anything special for Easter?

For today’s card I used another soon to retire set,  Stampin’ Up Birthday Sentiments Stamp Set.  I am really going to miss this set.  I just love the large images, they are great for coloring. Here’s my card.

With the colors I chose for my card, I was able to play along with Hand Stamped Sentiments color challenge #312.  Here are their colors.

I started by stamping the large image from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored it in using my Call Me Clover, Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the artwork to a Call Me Clover mat using Snail.

On a small strip of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the smaller sentiment from the same stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and made a banner out of it.  I edged the banner using my Call Me Clover Stampin’ Write Marker then adhered it to the artwork using Glue Dots.

Using my Big Shot, I ran a panel of Flirty Flamingo cardstock through using the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I wrapped a piece of the Lovely Lipstick Ribbon from the All My Love Ribbon Combo Pack around the card front and tied a knot.  I adhered the matted artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then adhered the card front to a Flirty Flamingo card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few of the Call Me Clover and Lovely Lipstick Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots to the artwork.

On the inside I stamped the birthday cake image from the Stampin’ Up Amazing Life Stamp Set (retiring June 3rd), in Flirty Flamingo Ink stamping off once to a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink over the birthday cake.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Flirty Flamingo card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the birthday cake on the envelope front and the scrolls on the envelope flap from the Amazing Life stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. If you are really liking the stamp set I used, don’t wait to get it The retired items sell out pretty quickly.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Lemon Zest Birthday

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week started off?  I thought spring was here, then just like that the air feels like fall again.  I’m really ready for the warmer weather now, how about you?

For today’s card I used a set that will be retiring as of June 3rd.  It’s the Stampin’ Up Lemon Zest Stamp Set.  I’m really going to miss this set.  When I see lemons I think of the warmer weather and lemonade.   Here’s my card.

I joined in with the Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #333.  Here is their sketch

I started with a Thick Whisper White card base and adhered a piece of the Daffodil Delight Gingham Gala Designer Series Paper (retiring June 3rd) using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Lemon Zest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink towards the left side.  I adhered the whisper white panel to a Basic Black mat using Snail.I adhered a piece of the Flax Ribbon to the card front then adhered a thin strip of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock over the ribbon using Glue Dots.  I adhered the matted sentiment panel over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a scrap of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the whole lemon image from the Lemon Zest stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink.  I stamped the leaves from the same stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink.  I cut the lemon and the leaves out using the Lemon Builder Punch (also retiring June 3rd).  I adhered the leaves to the back of the lemon using Glue Dots then the lemon to the artwork using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Lemon Zest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the lemon slice from the same stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink stamping off once over the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the lemon and the leaves from the Lemon Zest stamp set on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of the Gingham Gala DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Dragonfly Dreams

Good Friday morning my fellow stampers.  Has anyone made any fun plans for the weekend?  It’s supposed to be a nice weekend here by me.  More like spring weather.

For today’s card I pulled out a set I haven’t used in a while, the Stampin’ Up Dragonfly Dreams Stamp Set.  Take a look.

I’ve combined 2 different challenges with my card today.  The Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #310.  Here is their sketch.

I also joined in with the Fab Friday #160 color challenge.  Here are their beautiful color combo.

I started with a Highland Heather card front and stamped 2 dragonflies from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in Versamark Ink.  I sprinkled them with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set them with my Heat Tool.  I adhered the card front to a Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using my Big Shot, I cut out 2 of the largest dies from the Flourish Thinlits from a piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set on a strip of Whisper White cardstock in Bermuda Bay ink.

I adhered a panel of Flirty Flamingo Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to a Flirty Flamingo mat using Snail.   I adhered 2 pieces of the die cut to the sentiment strip using Snail, then adhered it to the matted DSP using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the matted DSP  to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added a few Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.  I colored one Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewel in using my Dark Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Blend Marker and adhered it to the sentiment strip.

On the inside on a Whisper White panel I stamped the dragonfly from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in Highland Heather Ink in the center.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set in Bermuda Bay Ink.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped a couple of dragonflies from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set in Highland Heather Ink on the envelope front.  I adhered a piece of Flirty Flamingo Brights 6 X 6 DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for visiting my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend.  Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Postcard Pals

Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers.  How is everyone’s week going?  We’re halfway through already.

For today’s card I played with one of my favorite sets, Stampin’ Up Postcard Pals Stamp Set.  I just love the little critters in this set, it’s such a fun set.  Here’s my card.

I was also able to join in with the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge #315.  Here is their sketch.

For my card I started with a Wood Textures Designer Series Paper card front and ran it through my Big Shot using the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  It’s very hard to see in the picture, but the wood background has texture to it.  I adhered the card front to a Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I ran a strip of Highland Heather cardstock through my Big Shot using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the Otter image from the Postcard Pals stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored the image in using my Balmy Blue, Call Me Clover, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather, Poppy Parade and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I cut out the scalloped oval in Balmy Blue Cardstock from the Layering Oval Framelits Dies  I adhered the stitched oval to the scalloped oval using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small piece of Glossy White cardstock I did the Shaving Cream Technique using Balmy Blue, Daffodil Delight and Highland Heather Classic Stampin’ Ink Refills.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Itty Bitty Birthdays Stamp Set in Versamark Ink on the marbled paper.  I sprinkled it with my Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.  I cut the sentiment out using the smallest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies and I cut the Balmy Blue scalloped oval from the Layering Oval Framelits Dies.  I adhered the stitched oval to the scalloped oval using Multipurpose Liquid Glue then adhered it to the bottom of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiments from the Stampin’ Up Life Is Grand Stamp Set in Balmy Blue Ink on a panel of Whisper White cardstock.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to the inside of the Highland Heather card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the otter image from the Postcard Pals stamp set on the front of the envelope and colored it in using my Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered a panel of Wood Textures DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up Apron Of Love Fun Fold

Good Tuesday morning my fellow stampers.  How has your week started off?

For today I have a Fun Fold card for you that is very easy.  I was asked to make a Birthday card for a Hair Dresser.  I had to think a little about that one and then I thought Stampin’ Up Apron Of Love Stamp Set.  I had a lot of fun making this card.

Here’s my card, take a look.

I do have to admit, I don’t own this set.  I had to borrow it from my best friends ever.  The advantage of having a friend that stamps and lives close to you is that you can share your Stampin’ Up Stamp Sets along with other Stampin’ Up products.

I started by taking a  Petal Pink card base and scoring it at 2 1/8″ and 6 3/8″ to make the Gate Fold card base.  I then took 2 pieces of Smoky Slate cardstock and 2 pieces of the beautiful Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper.  I adhered the DSP to each of the Smoky Slate mats using Snail.  I ran them both through my Big Shot using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered them to both sides of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I love all kinds of textures on a card.  It’s something you don’t always get with store-bought cards.

I then moved on to the really fun part of designing my card.  I knew I wanted an oval on the front of my card so using my Layering Ovals Framelits Dies I cut out a larger oval from the Petal Promenade DSP and a scalloped oval one size larger in Smoky Slate using my Big Shot.  I adhered the DSP oval to the scalloped oval and ran it through my Big Shot again with the Subtle DTIEF and set it aside.

I cut the apron, bow, neck piece and strings out from a piece of Petal Pink cardstock, the pockets out from a scrap of Petal Promenade DSP and the scissors out of Silver Foil Sheet using the Apron Builder Framelits and my Big Shot.  Before putting everything together, I ran the apron through my Big Shot using the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder so that it had a quilted look. I assembled the apron using Multipurpose Liquid Glue for the neck piece and strings, a Glue Dot for the bow and Stampin’ Dimensionals for the pockets and scissors.  I added a couple of Rhinestone Basic Jewels on the pockets and scissors.  I adhered the assembled apron to the embossed oval using Stampin’ Dimensionals and then the oval to the right card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the apron, neck piece and strings from the Apron Of Love stamp set in Petal Pink Ink in the center of a Whisper White panel.  I stamped the scissors from the same stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink in each of the corners.  I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Bright Wishes Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink in the top part of the apron.  I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink under the sentiment.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Smoky Slate mat using Snail and then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the apron, pocket, scissors and strings on the envelope front in Petal Pink and Smoky Slate Inks.  I adhered a piece of the Petal Promenade DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
