Creative Stamping Designs Fundraiser for Flood Victims in Texas

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some plans in the works. I’ll be working all day, which is good since there’s an air quality alert here in NJ again.

We’ve all been watching – and crying – as we’ve watched the devastation caused by the flooding of the Guadalupe River in Texas on July 4th.  It’s beyond horrible.  Since there’s really nothing most of us can do that is hands-on – I try to help financially.  I’m coming to you for HELP! So…I’m going to do a fundraiser that’ll start right now.  I’ve selected Mercury One as the recipient of our donation. 

Mercury One is a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 2011 by media personality, entrepreneur, and New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck. It was created to inspire the world in the same way the United States’ space program shaped America’s national destiny by setting a goal and committing to reach it against all odds. The only limitations to achievement are those we place on ourselves, and we believe in the goodness and power of the individual to overcome any obstacle.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Year of Flowers Cling Stamp Set along with Stylish Shapes Dies and the Splendid Autumn 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Adhere a panel of Mossy Meadow to a Fresh Freesia card base with Stampin’ Seal. Score the 3 1/4″ x 5″ panel of Basic Beige at 1″ on the top and fold. Adhere the folded panel to the back of the Basic Beige panel with Stampin’ Seal.

Cut 1″ off either side of the 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ panel of Splendid Autumn DSP with your Paper Trimmer. Adhere the 2 – 1″ pieces to the larger Basic Beige panel with Stampin’ Seal. Fold the flap down and adhere the center panel to the card flap with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the Basic Beige layered panel to the Mossy Meadow mat with Liquid Glue.

On the small panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from Year of Flowers stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a Linen Thread double bow and adhere it to the sentiment with a Glue Dot. Add a Muted Palette Dot to the sentiment.

On a panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from Year of Flowers stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. Adhere a panel of Splendid Autumn DSP to the bottom of the panel. Stamp the daisy image from the Year of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the panel and color it with Fresh Freesia, Mossy Meadow and Bronze Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the Basic Beige panel to the card base under the flap.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the daisy image from the Year of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Color the image with Fresh Freesia, Mossy Meadow and Bronze Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Splendid Autumn DSP to the envelope flap.

Adhere the stamped panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere the leaf die cuts to the side of the sentiment panel with Stampin’ Seal. Tie a bow with Linen Thread and adhere it to the bottom of the die cuts with a Glue Dot. Adhere the fussy cut birds over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Low-Profile Sparkle Dots to the card front.

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. How is your week going? I hope you are having a good one so far and it’s not too hot where you are. It’s been very steamy here in NJ with what feels like 1000% humidity.

I played with my favorite embossing folder for a supper quick and easy card today. I really like when either an embossing folder or DSP does most of the work for you with a card. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Label Me Grateful Cling Stamp Set along with the Textured Notes Dies and Sunflower 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

Cut the center out of a panel of Petunia Pop with the 3rd largest Textured Notes Dies. Put the panel back together and emboss the panel with the Sunflower EF.

Adhere the outside frame of the embossed panel to a Thick Basic White card base with Liquid Glue. For the center panel, swipe the White Craft Ink across the panel highlighting the raised image. Adhere the inked panel to a Basic White mat with Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to the center of the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2024-2026 In-Color Flat Pearls to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the tall glass image, the citrus image and cherry image from the Cheers & Sips Photopolymer stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Stamp the pick image from the Cheers & Sips stamp set in Garden Green Ink. Using the Blending Brushes, add Pumpkin Pie and Peach Pie Inks to one of the glasses. Add Lemon Lolly Ink to the other glass using the Blending Brush. Stamp the ice cube image from the Cheers & Sips stamp set in Versamark Ink to the inside of both of the glasses. Sprinkle the images with Clear Embossing Powder and set them with the Heat Tool. Color one of the citrus images with Pumpkin Pie and Peach Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Color the other citrus with Daffodil Delight and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. Color the cherry with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut ll the images out with the Cheers & Sips Dies. Adhere the citrus, cherry and pick die cuts to the top of the glasses with Glue Dots. Adhere the glasses to the embossed Basic White panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Holographic Resin Dots to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiments from the Cheers & Sips stamp set in Garden Green Ink. Stamp the glass image from the Cheers & Sips stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. Using the Blending Brushes add Pumpkin Pie and Peach Pie Inks to one glass and Lemon Lolly Ink to the other. Stamp the ice cube image in Versamark Ink inside the glasses, sprinkle it with Clear Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool. Stamp the citrus images in the glasses in Pumpkin Pie Ink and Daffodil Delight Ink. Adhere the other 2 ice pops to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Color a light green strip of Pastel Ombre Glimmer Paper using the Blending Brush and Granny Apple Green Ink. Adhere the sentiment to the Glimmer paper mat. Tie a small bow with the Strawberry Slush twine from the Pack Your Bags Twine Three-Pack. Adhere the bow to the bottom of the card front with a Glue Dot. Adhere the layered sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2024-2026 In-Color Flat Pearls to the card front.

Stamp the sentiments from Sweet Jar stamp set in Coastal Cabana and Strawberry Slush Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Strawberry Slush mat then to the inside of the Coastal Cabana card base.

Stamp the flower image from Year of Flowers stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. Color the image with Bubble Bath and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Highland Heather mat then to the inside of the Azure Afternoon card base.
