Good Thursday morning my stamping friends! Welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Karen Finkle’s blog, thank you for stopping by my blog. This week we have a Color Challenge. I can’t wait to see what everyone has created this week. Be sure to take a moment to hop around to see everyone’s beautiful projects. Here is my card using this weeks Colors.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Little Stockings Cling Stamp Set along with the Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper for my card today.
Here are our colors for this week.
I started by adhering a panel of the Sweet Stockings DSP to an Evening Evergreen mat.
I adhered another panel of the Sweet Stockings DSP to an Evening Evergreen mat and adhered the layered panel to the layered card front. I wrapped a piece of the White Bakers Twine from the Bakers Twine Essential Pack around the layered card front twice and tied a bow. I adhered the layered card front to a Cherry Cobbler card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a panel of Evening Evergreen cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Versamark Ink. I immediately sprinkled it with my White Embossing Powder from the Basic Embossing Powders and set it using my Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to the card front, over the bakers twine, using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I fussy cut the dog image from another panel of the Sweet Stockings DSP using my Paper Snips and adhered it next to the sentiment. I added a few Bumblebee Matte Decorative Dots to the card front.
On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Little Stockings stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered a strip of the Sweet Stockings DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Evening Evergreen mat and then to the inside of the Cherry Cobbler card base.
To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Sweet Stockings DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
