Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans in the works and the weather cooperates with you; I’ll be working both days this weekend, so I’ll only get to enjoy the beautiful weather we’re supposed to have when I get off of work.
Today’s card is one that we made at our quarterly team meeting last Sunday. This gorgeous card was designed by one of my team members Tara Carpenter. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Bundle along with the Timber 3D Embossing Folder and Stylish Shapes Dies for my card today.
I started by embossing a Very Vanilla card front using the Timber EF. I adhered the embossed panel to a Cajun Craze mat using Multipurpose Liqiud Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Very Vanilla Thick card base suing Multipurpose Liqiud Glue. Using the Blending Brushes and Daffodil Delight, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Pecan Pie Inks, I blended the inks on the 4″ X 4″ panel of Very Vanilla. Using the Autumn Leaves Dies I cut the larger leaves from the blended panel. I stamped the vein images from the Stampin’ Up! Autumn Leaves Photopolymer Stamp Set on the coordinating Leaves in Cajun Craze Ink.
I frayed the 2 ends of a piece of the Natural Ribbon from the Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack. I adhered the ribbon to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I cut the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies from a panel of Very Vanilla. I added a little ink to the edges using a Sponge Dauber. I adhered the circle to the card front over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the leaves to the circle using Glue Dots.
On a panel of Very Vanilla, I stamped the sentiment from the Autumn Leaves stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Autumn Leaves Dies. I adhered the sentiment over the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from Autumn Leaves stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla. I inked up the large maple leaf image from the Autumn Leaves stamp set with Crushed Curry Ink. Using the Sponge Dauber, I added some Cajun Craze Ink around the edges. I stamped the leaf on the bottom of the panel. I stamped the vein in Cajun Craze Ink. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Cajun Craze mat then to the inside of the Very Vanilla Thick card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of All About Autumn 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
