Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently Father’s Day CAS

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends. Most of you have a nice long weekend (which I personally think we should have all the time). Hope you have some fun things planned.

Next week I’m having another Stamp Camp card making class and I have another new stamper coming. I’m really trying to think clean and simple, but I always have to add that little extra. Here’s one of the cards we will be making. It’s similar to one I made a couple months ago.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently Cling Stamp Set for my card. This set will be retiring at the end of June, so if it’s one that you really like, I’d grab it now before it’s gone.

I started by stamping the hot air balloon image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on a Basic White card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the opposite side of the card front. I embossed the card front using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. On of my new stampers that came to my class last month just loved the whole embossing technique, so I thought I’d do it again just for her.

I adhered the card front to a Crumb Cake mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Misty Moonlight card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from Soar Confidently stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the hot air balloon image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink, stamping off 3 times on scrap paper, over the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Crumb Cake mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the hot air balloon image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Misty Moonlight Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the 2020-2022 In-Color Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my CAS card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently CAS

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends and Happy Valentine’s Day. Hope you will be spending the day doing something you enjoy. I’ll be at working being visited by all the little furry friends and their owners getting them Valentines.

Once again I have something a little different for you today. I thought I would show you how to step up a card from a Beginner Stamper to a Casual Stamper and finally an Avid Stamper. I used the Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently Cling Stamp Set for all my cards. Here are my cards.

I played along with the Cardz For Guys CAS Clean and Simple Challenge #264.

My first card is for the Beginner Stamper just using Stamp, Ink and Paper. I stamped the hot air balloon image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock off centered towards the top of the panel.

I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! By The Dock Cling Stamp Set on the bottom of the panel in Early Espresso Ink. I adhered the card front to an Early Espresso card base using Stampin’ Seal.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Beautiful World Cling Stamp Set in the center of a Very Vanilla panel in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the hot air balloon image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off 3 times, over the sentiment. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Early Espresso card base using Stampin’ Seal.

I stamped the hot air balloon image from the Soar Confidently on the front of a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope in Early Espresso Ink and adhered a panel of In Good Taste Designer Series Paper to the envelope flap.

For my Casual Stamper you might want to add just a little something extra, but not too much. I stamped the airplane image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink towards the top of a Very Vanilla card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Soar Confidently stamp set on the bottom of the card front in Early Espresso Ink. I embossed the panel using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to an Early Espresso card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the airplane image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off 3 times, over the sentiment. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to the inside of the Early Espresso card base using Stampin’ Seal.

For my Avid Stamper I added more layers and embellishments. An Avid Stamper may want to add punches, die cuts, multiple layers and maybe even make a collage card. I did what I would call a basic Avid Card. I stamped the blimp image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink towards the top of a Very Vanilla card front off centered. I stamped the sentiment from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink off centered towards the bottom of the card front in Early Espresso Ink. I embossed the card front using the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to an Early Espresso mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I weaved one of the slides from the Antique Corners & Slides Elements on a piece of Early Espresso 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim and wrapped it around the matted panel, adhering it in the back with some Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the matted card front to a Crumb Cake card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a couple of the corners from the Antique Corners & Slides Elements to the top of the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the blimp image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off 3 times, over the sentiment. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Crumb Cake card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

The envelopes for the Casual and Avid Stampers were done the same as the Beginner Stamper except using the airplane and blimp images.

I consider myself an Avid Stamper, but sometimes can pull off a Beginner & Casual Stamper cards. Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my cards and I was able to explain the different stampers to you. What kind of stamper are you? Enjoy your day. Happy Stamping!!

Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently Masculine Card.

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend.

It’s time for another Inspiration Challenge from The Card Concept. For the next 2 weeks we have a Daring To Dream challenge. Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Soar Confidently Cling Stamp Set for my card today along with some World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper and the World Map Dies.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concept and join us and play along. How does this photo inspire you?

I started by embossing a panel of Cinnamon Cider cardstock using the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. I cut a panel of World of Good Specialty DSP in 3 using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the stitched rectangles to the embossed card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I threaded a piece of 1/4″ Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim with one of the Antique Slides from the Antique Corner & Slides Embellishments and adhered the trim to the back of the card front using Stampin’ Seal.

Using the World Map Dies I cut a globe stand from a panel of Brass Foil Sheet. I cut the globe from a panel of Cinnamon Cider cardstock and the detailed globe from a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock. I adhered the detailed globe to the solid globe using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the globe into the Brass Foil stand using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the globe to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a small panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I stamped the airplane image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamped off 3 times. I cut the sentiment out using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the card front to a Cinnamon Cider card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside is stamped the sentiment from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink in the center of a Basic White panel. I stamped the airplane image from the Soar Confidently stamp set in Early Espresso Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to an Early Espresso mat using Stampin’ Seal and then to the inside of the Cinnamon Cider card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To complete my card I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the airplane image from the Soar Confidently stamp set on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the World of Good Specialty DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!
