Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? It’s a bit on the chilly side here, dropped to the 20’s last night.
I have something a little different for you today, no stamping. With the holiday’s approaching quickly I thought I’d show you a little gift jar that I made. I showed it to one of my cashiers at work yesterday that’s a preschool teacher and she loved it. She’s going to have her preschoolers make it for a parent gift. It a great idea for girl scouts to make or if you have enough for a class project. Great little gift for kids to make for their grandparents and fill it with chocolates. This is also a great idea if your children have holiday shopping at their school, you can whip these up in not time. This would make a perfect holiday or winter gift using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP. Here’s my little gift jar.
I used the Warm Wraps Dies and the Cute Halloween Designer Series Paper for mine.
All you have to do is eat a jar (or 2) of the oui yogurt and you have a jar. The labels peel off really easy for easy washing. Cut 2 of the Warm Wrap Dies that are made to fit over our Mini Coffee Cups (#153493 page 137 from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog) in any color DSP that you like. They fit perfectly around the neck of the jar. Adhere the wrap together on one side, then wrap it around the jar and adhere it on the other side while on the jar. Wrap a ribbon of your choice around the jar and tie a bow. I added a Glue Dot under the bow to hold it in place.
I keep it on my craft table filled with some of my adhesives. You can decorated these however you like. I kept it simple since it sits on my craft table and I didn’t want it to be too bulky.
It fits a votive in it perfectly. Any parent would be proud to display their child’s artwork.
You can use it for small tealight candles that would glow through the paper. You can fit one of those small succulent plants in it too. Fill it up with some chocolates and you have the perfect teacher gift.
