New Basic Black Hybrid Ink Pad Coming in May 2026!

Stampin’ Up! is releasing a new Basic Black Hybrid Stampin’ Pad (166648) and the Basic Black Hybrid Ink Refill (166649)* with the May–August 2026 Catalog!!  The new ink has the ability to work with various coloring techniques.  In fact, it’s called “hybrid” because it has similar characteristics to StāzOn and Memento—you can use this single pad for watercolor techniques AND techniques featuring Stampin’ Blends!  The new hybrid ink will be a coloring go-to.

STĀZON & MEMENTO INK UPDATE:

Something that has us less excited is how increasingly difficult it has become to source StāzOn and Memento ink. The timing of the Hybrid ink is fortunate, as it’s releasing right as Stampin’ Up! will be forced to discontinue the following products once existing inventory is gone:

  • Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad (132708)
  • Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Refill (133456)
  • Jet Black StāzOn Ink Pad (101406)

  • * The Basic Black Hybrid Ink Refill (166649) will not be available for several months and will not be listed in the Online Store when the catalog releases to customers.  As soon as Stampin’ Up! provides an update on when the refills are available, I’ll let you know.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some plans in the works. I’ll be working all day and I’m guessing it’ll be busy since they issued a winter storm watch for us, another 8″-10″ of snow. I’m so ready for spring.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Lifetime of Love Stamp Set along with the new Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder, Stampin’ Up! Beautiful Motifs Stamp Set and Stylish Shapes Dies for my card today.

Emboss a Basic White card front using the new Lazy Daisy EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic Black mat. Adhere the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base.

Using the Stylish Shapes dies, cut 2 squares from a panel of Basic Black. Adhere the larger panel of Basic White on the larger die cut square. On the smaller panel of Basic White, stamp the daisy image from Lifetime of Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink with the Basic White panel in a diamond. Stamp the sentiment from Beautiful Motifs stamp set next to the daisy image in Tuxedo Black Ink.

Adhere the artwork to the smaller die cut square. Adhere the diamond layered panel to the larger layered panel. Adhere the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Pearls of Beauty to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the daisy image from the Lifetime of Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the daisy image from the Lifetime of Love stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Tuxedo Black Ink.

Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend already. It’s warming up a bit here in NJ. We’ve been in the 30’s finally, still dropping to the teens at night though so everything could freeze up again.

Today’s card is for the inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #224 is Monochromatic Greens. I used the Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane Bundle along with the new Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder (available March 3). I was inspired by the theme along with the greenery in the photo for my Clean & Layered card.

Emboss a panel of Garden Green Two-Tone Cardstock using the Paradise Garden EF. Use a sanding block and go over the panel to highlight the leaves. Adhere a panel of Wood Textured Paper to the center of the embossed panel. Adhere the embossed panel to the front of a Garden Green card base.

Stamp the leaf image from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere the stamped panel to a Garden Green mat and to a Soft Sea Foam mat. Adhere the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Greenery Lane Dies, cut the leaf die from a panel of Garden Green. Adhere it to the stamped Basic White panel. Tie a small bow using the Garden Green 1/8″ Chevron Ribbon and adhere it to the stem with a Glue Dot. Add a few Shades of Green Hexagons to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the leaf image from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink, stamping it off once on scrap paper, over the sentiment. Adhere a panel of Garden Green Two-Tone cardstock that was embossed with the Paradise Garden EF and sanded using the sanding block, on the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat and a Soft Sea Foam mat then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to complete the card. Stamp the leaf image from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Garden Green Ink, stamped off once on scrap paper and Soft Sea Foam Ink, on the bottom front of the envelope. Using the Blending Brush, add sone Soft Sea Foam Ink to a panel of Wood Textured Paper and adhere it to the envelope flap.

February’s Free Online Fun Fold Class Registration Open

Good Snowy Sunday morning stamping friends. The snowstorm here in NJ has begun. I hope your weekend is going well. It was crazy busy yesterday at the store. Here’s How it Works:

Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week and the last Monday of 2025. Another year just about gone and a new one to start in just a few days. How was your weekend? I didn’t do anything that I planned to do. I was going to spend time in my card studio getting some cards made and just enjoying some creative time. That did not happen. I need everyone in my house to go back to work so I can have the house to myself.

Good Snowy Sunday afternoon stamping friends. I hope you are enjoying your weekend. We woke up to 6″ of snow outside today. I got myself bundled up, brought the pups out and shoveled the back steps and patio making a path to the back door. My husband got to do the driveway and sidewalks. If it stays cold and doesn’t rain, there’s a chance of having a white Christmas this year. I worked all day yesterday and thought I would be coming home to our Christmas tree inside. Unfortunately, my husband went to multiple places around us, and they didn’t have one for us. A lot of 4′ trees (which definitely is NOT tall enough, some that we’ve gone to in the past were sold out and everywhere he went wanted cash. You know he didn’t leave the house with enough cash; those trees were all $75 and up. I believe he’s trying a couple more places today, I’m staying home to get my baking list together.

Today’s card is another card that we made at our quarterly meeting last Sunday afternoon. My team member Nicole Bloxom designed this fun card. I did change mine up a little bit. Here’s my card for today.

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and our BackStage is almost over.

Today’s card is for the inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #221 is Give Thanks.  Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Bundle along with the Gathering Together Specialty Designer Series Paper and Stylish Shapes Dies for my Clean & Layered card today. I was inspired by the colors and the gourds in the photo

Using the Blending Brushes, add Cajun Craze and Lost Lagoon Inks to a panel of Basic White. Cut the panel using the largest Amber Autumn Die. Adhere the die cut panel to a panel of Gathering Together DSP. Adhere the layered panel to a Cajun Craze mat.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the pumpkin/gourd image from the Stampin’ Up! Amber Autumn Cling Stamp Set in Early Espresso Ink. Color the image using Cajun Craze, Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive & Pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut the image out using the Amber Autumn Dies.

Wrap a piece of the White 1/4″ Ribbon around the layered panel and tie a bow. Adhere the de cut image over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the layered panel to a Lost Lagoon card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. On the panel of Basic White. stamp the sentiment from the Amber Autumn stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink. Cut the sentiment cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Earthy Matte Dots to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Amber Autumn stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the leaf image from the Amber Autumn stamp set on the top of the panel in Cajun Craze Ink. Adhere a panel of Gathering Together DSP to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the basic White panel to a Cajun Craze mat then to the inside of the Lost Lagoon card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to complete your card. Stamp the leaf image from the Amber Autumn stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the envelope front. Color the leaves using Cajun Craze, Lost Lagoon and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Gathering Together DSP to the envelope flap.
