Stampin’ Up! So Refreshing for The Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. If you are starting with me, thank you, I hope you will stop by everyone’s blog to see what they have created this week. If you are hopping over from Akiko’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have Theme Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s theme.

Stampin' Up! So Refreshing Patchwork 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! So Refreshing Bundle along with the Patchwork Pieces Dies, Basics 3D Embossing Folder and Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper for my card today.

This is our theme this week.

Stampin' Up! So Refreshing Patchwork 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by embossing a Calypso Coral card front using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the card front to a Calypso Coral card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Using the Patchwork Pieces Dies, I cut the embossed panel and 2 panels of Delightfully Eclectic DSP.

Stampin' Up! So Refreshing Patchwork 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Garden Green, I adhered the pieces to complete 1 using a different panel for each section. Doing this will give you 3 card fronts to use on 3 different cards. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the pitcher and glass images from the Stampin’ Up! So refreshing Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink. I stamped the pitcher and glass fill images in Bubble Bath Ink. I stamped the ice cute image from the So Refreshing stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink inside the pitcher and glasses, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the leaf image from the So Refreshing stamp set in Garden Green Ink and the leaf fill image in Garden Green Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I cut the images out using the So Refreshing Dies. I stamped the lemon and lemon slice images from the So Refreshing stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink on a panel of Lemon Lolly cardstock. I cut the images and the blanket out using the So Refreshing Dies. Using the So Refreshing Dies, I cut the strawberries from a scrap of Sweet Sorbet cardstock and the strawberry tops from a scrap of Granny Apple Green cardstock.

Stampin' Up! So Refreshing Patchwork 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

I adhered the strawberry tops to the strawberries using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the leaves to the lemons using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut the lemon slices in half using Paper Snips. I adhered the blanket to the card front. I adhered the pitcher, glass and lemons to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the strawberries in the pitcher and glasses using Glue Dots. I added a few Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.

Stampin' Up! So Refreshing Patchwork 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the So Refreshing stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a panel of Basic White. I had stamped and cut out 2 of the glass images, so I adhered one of them on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base.

Stampin' Up! So Refreshing Patchwork 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the pitcher and ice cube images from So Refreshing stamp set on the envelope front in Smoky Slate Ink. I stamped the solid fill image in Bubble Bath Ink. I adhered a panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the envelope flap.

In response to changing policies at Stampin’ Up – I’m adjusting my Ordering Gift policy as well.  I’m having to get a little more tough on the adding of Host codes when you place your order thru my Online Store.

Not to worry – you’re still going to get that $10 ordering gift for orders of $50 (before shipping & tax) or greater.  And the gift is still any 1 SU! product up to that $10 value – which includes some of our fun Host Sets!

But – if you DO NOT use the Host code for your orders of less than $150 (this is the RETAIL total before Shipping & Handling), then you’ll have two options:

  1. You’ll need to call Stampin’ Up! (1-800-Stamp-Up) and ask them to add it for you. They’re very helpful and will get it done quickly!  OR….
  2. If your order was over the $50 threshold but under $150, then…you’ll forfeit that $10 ordering gift and rewards – this is the Bummer Option – and I REALLY don’t want to do this, SO please remember to add my Current Host Code.

Stampin’ Up! Little Dreamers Neutral Baby Card

Good Monday morning stamping friends. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Did anyone do anything special? We had our quarterly team meeting, enjoyed the time with team members chatting and stamping together. Oh, and the cards we made are super cute. I’ll be sharing them over the next week.

Today’s card was the first one we made designed by one of my team members from PA, Akiko Sudano. This one is a neutral baby card and I just love it. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Little Dreamers Neutral 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Little Dreamers Bundle, Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, Nested Essentials Dies and Basic 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the lion, stars and sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Little Dreamers Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images using Calypso Coral, Crumb Cake and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using the Little Dreamers Dies and the smallest rectangle from the Nested Essentials Dies for the sentiment. Using the Little Dreamers Dies, I cut 2 clouds from the same panel.

Stampin' Up! Little Dreamers Neutral 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Patchwork

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend and Memorial Day? It was a gorgeous weekend and Memorial Day here. We couldn’t have asked for better weather. Perfect day to be outside for a picnic and for the bike races, although it was a bit breezy.

Those that know me know that I like layers on my cards. I have a lot of trouble doing simple 1 layer cards. Today’s card is no different, there’s a lot of layers. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle Birthday and DSP Sale Coming In June

Good Tuesday morning my stamping friends and Happy World Turtle Day!!! My daughter LOVES turtles and has a very large collection of them. She wants to swim with the turtles one day and I told her I’d do that with her. How many turtle lovers are out there?

In honor of World Turtle Day, I’ve made a turtle card for today. Now I’m not sure which card my daughter will get for her birthday at the end of the week. She loves Chemistry and Turtles, and I’ve made both birthday cards. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Sea Turtle Birthday 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sea Turtle Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Charming Sentiments Photopolymer Stamp Set, Basics 3 D Embossing Folder and the Hello Irresistible 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Stampin' Up! Sea Turtle Birthday 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by randomly stamping the bubble image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on the Lost Lagoon card front. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Pretty Peacock card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Sea Turtle Birthday 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a square panel of Hello Irresistible DSP, I stamped the sand dollar image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I stamped the fish image from the Sea Turtle stamp set on another panel of the Hello Irresistible DSP, in Calypso Coral Ink. I sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I stamped the starfish image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Wild Wheat Ink on the last square of Hello Irresistible DSP. I sprinkled the image with Clear Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the 3 squares to 3 Basic White mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panels to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Sea Turtle Birthday 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

Using the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch, I punched a panel of Hello Irresistible DSP. I stamped the small detail turtle image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. I sprinkled the image with Clear Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I cut a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I adhered the punched circle to the Basic Whtie circle mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered circle to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. From a panel of Basic White cardstock, I cut the sentiment mat using the Wanted To Say Dies. From a panel of Pretty Peacock cardstock, I cut the sentiment from the Wanted To Say Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the mat using Multipurpose Liqui Glue. I adhered the layered sentiment to the bottom of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Flat Adhesive Backed Pearls to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Sea Turtle Birthday 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the bubble image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the sides of the panel. I stamped the small detail turtle image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink on the bottom of the panel. I flipped the image over and stamped the solid turtle image in Pretty Peacock Ink over the detailed image, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lost Lagoon mat then to the inside of the Pretty Peacock card base.

Stampin' Up! Sea Turtle Birthday 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bubble image from the Sea Turtle stamp set on the envelope front in Lost Lagoon Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the small detail turtle image from the Sea Turtle stamp set in Pretty Peacock Ink. I flipped the stamp over and stamped the solid turtle image in Pretty Peacock Ink over the detailed image, stamping off once on scrap paper. I adhered a panel of Hello Irresistible DSP to the envelope flap.

Crafting With You for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning my stamping friends it’s Cinco de Mayo!!! Welcome to my fun fold Friday. How was everyone’s week? Is anyone making plans for the weekend yet?

Today’s card I made on my Facebook Live video on Wednesday. If you were able to join me or watched the replay, thank you. If you’d like to watch my video and stamp along, the measurements are below along with the links to my Facebook page and my YouTube channel. Here is my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You Easel 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Lasting Joy Photopolymer Stamp Set and Bright & Beautiful 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my easel card today.

I played along with The Paper Players Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge 638. I went right down the center with layers, die cuts and fun fold.

The design on the front of my card is from Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge 413.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You Easel 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by scoring & folding the Pool Party card base as listed below. I adhered the 1 1/4″ top of the card base together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to make a book fold card. The other fold will act as the easel. I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to a Lost Lagoon mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered a smaller panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to a smaller Lost Lagoon mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the smaller layered panel to the top of the card base (that I adhered together) using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You Easel 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

I cut a panel of Bubble Bath cardstock using the 2nd largest square from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the strip of Bubble Bath cardstock to the strip of Pool Party cardstock using Glue Dots. I adhered the strips just under the layered square using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You Easel 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the basket image from the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Photopolymer Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink. I stamped the yarn image from the Crafting With You in Lost Lagoon and Pool Party Inks. I cut the images out using the Crafting With You Dies. I adhered the basket to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered 1 of the yarn images behind the basket using Glue Dots and the other at the bottom of the basket using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the smallest die from the Countryside Corners Dies I cut the banner from the Basic White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Lasting Joy stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on the banner. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using a Glue Dot and Stampin’ Dimensional. I cut the scissor die from the Crafting With You Dies from a panel of Silver Foil paper and Lost Lagoon. I cut the handles off the Lost Lagoon scissors and adhered them to the Silver Foil scissors. I adhered the scissors together with a Glue Dot and added a silver Festive Pearl in the center. I adhered the scissors to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the card front to the bottom of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You Easel 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the large and small flower images from the Crafting With You in the corners of the Basic Whtie panel. I inked up the stamp with Bubble Bath Ink, then used my Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Write Marker to color the leaves. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lost Lagoon mat then to the inside of the Pool Party card base. I stamped the sentiment from the Crafting With You stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on a panel of Basic Whtie. I cut the sentiment out using the hoop die from the Crafting With You Dies. I cut another hoop using the Crafting With You Dies from a panel of Lost Lagoon cardstock. I adhered Stampin’ Dimensionals.to the back to hold the 2 parts together. I sniped off the top of the hoop using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the center using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the sentiment to the bottom of the panel. This will act as the easel stop. I added a few Festive Pearls to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Crafting With You Easel 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the yarn and flower images from the Crafting With You stamp set on the envelope front using Bubble Bath, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party Inks. I adhered a panel of Bright & Beautiful DSP to the envelope flap.

Using my Pecan Pie Stampin’ Write Marker (available tomorrow May 2nd), I colored just the bottom sentiment on the stamp. Using my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker (available tomorrow May 2nd), I colored just the car on the stamp. I gave is a huff to reactivate the ink and stamped the image. I cut the sentiment and image out using the All That Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the card front over the banners using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! He's All That 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies in Wild Wheat

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? We had a lot of rain again, but it cleared up Sunday and turned out to be a beautiful day. It was still too muddy in my yard to do work, so I took a nice long walk with my puppy.

I played with a bundle from the upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I really like this bundle and love the DSP that goes with it. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Little Hello 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Bundle (available May 2nd) along with the Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set and Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper (available May 2nd) for my card today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches #582.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Little Hello 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by embossing a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Garden Green mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Wild Wheat (available May 2nd) card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Using the largest circle die from the Stylish Shapes Dies, I cut a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP. I adhered the die cut circle to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Little Hello 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the daisy image from the Stampin’ Up! Cheerful Daisies Photopolymer Stamp Set in Wild Wheat Ink 2 times. I stamped the leaf image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Garden Green Ink 3 times. I cut the images out using the Cheerful Daisies Dies. I cut 2 of the detailed daisy die from the panel of Basic White using the Cheerful Daisies Dies. I cut the 4th from the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies form a panel of Basic Whtie cardstock. I stamped the daisy centers on the die cut daisies in Lemon Lolly Ink (available May 2nd). I adhered the detailed daisy die cuts to the stamped die cut daisies using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I stamped the stem image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the small die cut circle. I adhered one of the daisies and 2 of the leaves to the stem using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the circle to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Little Hello 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Pansy Patch stamp set in Garden Green Ink. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few of the 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Little Hello 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Garden Green Ink. I stamped the stem image from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the other die cut daisy and leaf to the stem. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat then to the inside of the Wild Wheat card base.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Little Hello 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the stem and leaves from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set in Garden Green Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the daisy in Wild Wheat Ink and the daisy center in Lemon Lolly Ink. I adhered a panel of Fresh As A Daisy DSP to the envelope flap.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you like the card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!!

The free gift is your choice of any 1 item valued up to $10.00 from the 2022-2023 Annual Catalog or the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog!  Unfortunately, packs of cardstock are no longer an option for a free gift. Shipping has become too expensive to ship and it’s costing me as much to ship as the cardstock costs. For any orders $50 or more I will also send you my monthly class tutorials.  Click HERE or go to my Customer Rewards for more details and to see what this month’s tutorials are.

I cut a panel of Pool Party cardstock using the 3rd largest die from the Countryside Corners Dies. I stamped the branch image from the Stampin’ Up! Seasonal Branches Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pecan Pie Ink. I cut the one side of the die cut panel using my Paper Trimmer. I stamped the sentiment from the Marigold Moments stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the bottom of the panel. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the die cut embossed panel to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the bird image from the Seasonal Branches stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. On a panel of Petal Pink cardstock, I stamped the cluster of flowers image from the Seasonal Branches stamp set in Petal Pink Ink. I cut the bird and flowers out using the Seasonal Branches Dies. I colored the bird using my Calypso Coral and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Cherries CAS

Good Monday morning my stamping friends. How was everyone’s weekend? Saturday was such a gorgeous day in the mid 70’s. I brought Coraline over to meet her fur cousin in person for the first time. It went ok. Letty is at least twice her size so running around in the back yard was challenging. Letty stepped on Coraline a couple times, so Cora was staying by my side more than normal. They did walk wonderfully together. Coraline just wanted to be by Letty’s side the whole walk. I’m sure we’ll be getting them together again soon.

Today’s card uses some items being retired and some carrying over. Here’s my card for today.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries CAS 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweetest Cherries Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Framed Florets Dies, Basics 3D Embossing Folder and 2022-2024 In-Color 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

My design is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #579.

I also played along with the CAS on Friday Challenge #254, Dots.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries CAS 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering a panel of 2022-2024 In-Color DSP to a Sweet Sorbet card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries CAS 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the stem image from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I stamped the cherry image from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set in Sweet Sorbet Ink on the stem. I stamped the leaf image from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink and the leaf vine image in Granny Apple Green Ink. I cut the image out using the largest Framed Florets Dies so I would just have the oval. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3DE Embossing Folder. I adhered the artwork to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries CAS 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Sweet Cherries stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink. I cut the ends on an angle using my Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using a Stampin’ Dimensional and Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added 2 of the 2022-2024 In-Color Matte Decorative Dots to the sentiment.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries CAS 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiments from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the larger sentiment in Sweet Sorbet Ink and the smaller one in Parakeet Party Ink. I stamped the cherry image from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set on the side of the panel in Soft Suede, Parakeet Party, Granny Apple Green and Sweet Sorbet Inks, I adhered the Basic Whtie panel to a Parakeet Party mat then to the inside of the Sweet Sorbet card base.

Stampin' Up! Sweetest Cherries CAS 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the cherry images from the Sweetest Cherries stamp set on the envelope front in Soft Suede and Sweet Sorbet Inks. I adhered a panel of 2022-2024 In-Color DSP to the envelope flap.

Price Changes Coming With The 2023-2024 Annual Catalog

Stampin’ Up! let us know that some of the items in the new catalog will have higher prices when the catalog is launched on May 2.  The prices for all items that are carrying over will continue to be the current catalog prices through May 1.  So now is a great time to stock up on any favorites before the price increases happen in early May!  We have not been told any specifics on the amount that the prices will increase but we have been given a list of items that will increase in price with the new catalog.

Due to increased costs to produce these items, beginning May 2 new prices will be in effect within the following product categories:

  • Cardstock
  • Designer Series Paper
  • Specialty Paper
  • Notecards and Envelopes
  • Classic Stampin’ Ink Pads and Refills
  • Stampin’ Blends
  • Stampin’ Write Markers
  • Select Specialty Inks
  • Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machines and plates
  • Embossing Folders
  • Punches
  • Take Your Pick products
  • Storage
  • Clear Blocks
  • Select tools

To see the updated pricing, check the new 2023–2024 Annual Catalog.  I’ll be mailing out the catalogs in mid-April to my ordering customers so take a peek when it arrives in your mailbox.  So, the good news is that you will have time to order any last-minute items before the new pricing starts once you see the upcoming catalog!

Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. Here we are halfway through the week already. I hope your week is going well.

It’s time for an inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. It’s the second challenge of the month, we are posting two challenge photos!  You can choose whichever photo you prefer, or you could create two separate cards, one for each photo! The inspiration photo #191a is Signs of Spring and #191b is Butterfly Blues.  Here is my card that was inspired from the challenge photo.

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 1 creativestampingdesigns.com

I used the Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Friendly Gnomes Photopolymer Stamp Set, Basics 3D Embossing Folder and Neutrals 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my Clean and Layered Card. I was inspired by the inspiration photo #191a by the colors and the eggs in the photo.

I hope you will take a moment to visit The Card Concepts and join us for our challenge 191a or 191b.  How are you inspired by the photos?

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 2 creativestampingdesigns.com

I started by adhering 2 strips of Neutrals DSP to the top and bottom of a Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the branch image from the Stampin’ Up! Nested Friends Cling Stamp Set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to the center of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 3 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the nest and bird from the Nested Friends stamp set in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the nest using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers and the bird using Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images out using the Nested Friends Dies. I stamped the splotch image from the Nested Friends stamp set in So Saffron Ink on a panel of So Saffron cardstock. Using the Nested Friends Dies, I cut the eggs from the panel of So Saffron and the leaves from a panel of Granny Apple Green cardstock. I adhered the nest to the branch using Stampin’ Dimensionals, the eggs and bird to the nest using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 4 creativestampingdesigns.com

On a strip of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Friendly Gnomes stamp set in Night of Navy Ink. I cut the end of the strip using the Happy Label Pick A Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the top of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Enamel Dot Essentials to the card front.

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 5 creativestampingdesigns.com

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Nested Friends stamp set in Night of Navy Ink on a panel of Basic White. I adhered a strip of Neutrals DSP to the bottom of the panel. I stamped the bird from the Nested Friends stamp set in Soft Suede Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a So Saffron mat then to the inside of the Night of Navy card base.

Stampin' Up! Nested Friends 6 creativestampingdesigns.com

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the branch image from the Nested Friends stamp set on the envelope front in Soft Suede Ink. I colored the image with Crumb Cake and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Neutrals DSP to the envelope flap.

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d love to be your Demonstrator. Just click HERE to go directly to my online store or drop me an email if you have any questions.

MY CURRENT HOST CODE IS:    7KF3QB4G

Use this host code when placing an order with me. When you order $50 or greater you will receive a free gift from me! If your order is over $150, please do not use this code, but you’ll still get the free gift.

Please remember to use my current Host Code and make sure that you can see my name on the final checkout page listed as your Demonstrator when you order so that you know that you’re ordering with me, and you’ll get my rewards!

Happy Stamping, Karen
