Good Thursday morning my stamping friends welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I hope everyone is doing well today. If you are hopping over from Akiko Sudano’s blog, thank you for stopping by. This week we have a Color Challenge. Here is my card using this week’s Colors.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered Bundle along with the Artfully Composed Designer Series Paper for my card today.

These are our colors for this week.

I started by adhering a panel of Artfully Composed DSP to a Calypso Coral card base. I cut the edge of a smaller panel of Calypso Coral cardstock using the Tropical Layers Die. I adhered a panel of Artfully Composed DSP to the die cut panel and adhered it to the card front.

I stamped the smaller leaf image from the Stampin’ Up! Artfully Layered Cling Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink on a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I stamped the larger leafy image from the Artfully Layered stamp set in Pale Papaya Ink, stamping off once, on a panel of Basic White cardstock. Using my Tropical Layers Dies, I cut the 2 stamped images and 2 of the leaf dies from Just Jade and Mint Macaron cardstock panels.

I arranged the leaves on the card front and adhered them using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I stamped the script image from the Artfully Layered stamp set on a strip of Basic White cardstock in Pale Papaya Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the sentiment from the Artfully Layered stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink over the script image. Using my Banner Pick A Punch I cut the strip. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a double bow using the Evening Evergreen Bakers Twine from the Fan Baker’s Twine pack and adhered it to the sentiment using a Glue Dot. I added a few 2021-2023 In-Color Jewels to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Artfully Layered stamp set in Evening Evergreen Ink on a Basic White panel. I adhered 2 of the die cut leaves to the side of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pale Papaya mat and then to the inside of the Calypso Coral card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the 2 leaf images from the Artfully Layered stamp set in Pale Papaya and Pear Pizzazz Inks, stamped off once on scrap paper. I adhered a panel of Artfully Composed DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! New Shipping Fees Beginning April 1

I want to let you know about a change to Stampin’ Up!’s shipping and handling pricing.  Starting April 1, the minimum shipping charge will increase by $1.00, from $6.95 to $7.95—or by one percentage point, from 10% to 11% of the total order amount—whichever is greater.

If you ever use the expedited shipping options, those fees are going up a bit too.  Here are the new fees for expedited shipping:

• Next Day Upgrade: $38.00 USD ($3.00 USD increase from the previous rate)

Stampin’ Up! New Shipping Fees Beginning April 1

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? I hope you are enjoying it and the weather is cooperating.

Today’s card is the alternative card that I demonstrated at our quarterly team meeting last Sunday. I had showed you the one that everyone made at the meeting on Monday. You can see that one Here. Here is my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Bundle along with the Waves of The Ocean Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

I started by adhering the 4 smaller panels of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the 4 Pacific Point mats. I then adhered them to the 4 layered panels to the Coastal Cabana card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the longer panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the longer Pacific Point mat and then to the panel of Coastal Cabana cardstock and set it aside. On the 2″ X 5 1/2″ panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pelican image from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Waves Dies. From the same panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I cut the 2 cloud images and the detailed cloud images using my Waves Dies. I adhered the detailed cloud die to the bottom of each of the clouds. I cut 6 birds from the Smoky Slate cardstock using the Waves Dies.

I adhered a panel of Blue Foil Specialty Paper to an adhesive sheet and cut one of the waves from my Waves Dies. I adhered the wave to the 2 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP. I cut around the wave using my Paper Snips leaving about 1/8″ around the wave. I adhered the wave to the long-layered panel of DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the bottom.

I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on the Basic White panel. I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Coastal Cabana Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the cut pelican image to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered one of the clouds to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered 3 of the die cut birds around the sentiment using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pacific Point mat and then to the center of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To adhere the bridge, I used 2 pieces of Tear & Tape on both ends of the bridge. I adhered the left side first, then I folded the card flat and adhered the right side lining it up with the edges.

On the back panel of Basic Whtie cardstock, I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Coastal Cabana Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. I stamped the sentiment form the Celebrating You stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. I adhered the other cloud to the top of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the 3 birds using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue, around the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Pacific Point mat and then to the back of the card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the pelican image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set on the envelope front and colored it the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you have some fun plans this weekend. Me, I’ll be working both days. We actually had a taste of summer here yesterday, it hit 77 outside. It was wonderful. Today we’re supposed to be around 70 with thunderstorms. I think spring might just be arriving, YAY!!!

Today’s card is another one that we made at our team meeting last Sunday. this one was designed by one of my awesome team members Jillian Good. I just love her design. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Waves of The Ocean Collection along with the Stampin’ Up! Celebrating You Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

I started by adhering 3 panels of Waves of The Ocean Designer Series Papaer to a Silver Foil mat from the Blue Foils Specialty Paper. I embossed a Basic White card front using the Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the layered panel to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Cling Stamp Set in Pacific Point Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Waves Dies. I adhered the sentiment to the layered panel using Glue Dots to hold it in place. I took 2 lengths of the Petal Pink Cotton Ribbon from the 1/8″ Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack and looped them through the ends. I adhered the ribbon on the back of the embossed panel using Tear & Tape.

I adhered the card front to a Thick Basic White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels in the 2 corners of the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Celebrating You stamp set in Pacific Point Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the bird image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink around the sentiment. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the Thich Basic White card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Catching Butterflies Cling Stamp Set along with the Sale-a-bration Sunshine & Rainbows 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by cutting a panel of Magenta Madness cardstock and a panel of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP on an angle. I adhered the 2 triangles to 2 Magenta Madness mats. I adhered the 2 layered panels to a Misty Moonlight card base.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the little girl and butterfly images from the Catching Butterflies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images in using my new SU300, SU500 and SU700 from the new Natural Tones Stampin’ Blends Collection. I stamped the little girl image from the Catching Butterflies on a small panel of Sunshine & Rainbows DSP and fussy cut the dress using my Paper Snips. I adhered the dress to the stamped image using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I cut the image out using my Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Catching Butterflies stamp set on the bottom of the panel in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I adhered a length of the Misty Moonlight 1/8″ Cotton Ribbon from the 1/8″ Cotton Ribbon Combo Pack to the card front with Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the artwork over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Catching Butterflies stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the butterfly cluster image from the Catching Butterflies stamp set on either side of the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the butterflies in using my Bermuda Bay, Flirty Flamingo, Magenta Madness, Misty Moonlight, Pool Party and So Saffron Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a strip of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Magenta Madness mat and then to the inside of the Misty Moonlight card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the cluster of butterflies’ image from the Catching Butterflies stamp set on the envelope front on either side of where the address will go. I adhered a strip of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP on the envelope front and a panel on the envelope flap.

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. We’re also a little bit closer to spring!!

I have a pretty simple card for you today using the beautiful Sale-a-bration Designer Series Paper. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Sale-a-bration Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper along with the Amazing Thanks Dies for my card today.

My design in from Sunday Stamps Sketch Challenge #276. I love cards that are off set like this, and it pushes me outside of my comfort zone. I’m a straight on symmetrical kind of person.

I started by embossing a Very Vanilla card front using the Gingham Embossing Folder and adhered it to a Very Vanilla Thick card base.

I cut 2 panels of Daffodil Afternoon DSP using my Stitched Rectangle Dies. I adhered the 2 panels together on an angle using Stampin’ Seal then adhered them to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Using my Amazing Thanks Dies I cut the solid thanks from a panel of Flirty Flamingo cardstock and the detailed thanks from a panel of Mossy Meadow cardstock. I adhered the 2 die cuts together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered a piece of the White 3/4″ Frayed Ribbon to the card front using a little Stampin’ Seal to hold it in place. I adhered the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the top of the die cut only. I added a few Crushed Curry Playing with Patterns Resin Dots to the card front.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Special Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a Very Vanilla panel. I adhered a strip of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Very Vanilla mat and then to the inside of the Very Vanilla Thick card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Daffodil Afternoon DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Flowing Flowers Cling Stamp Set along with the beautiful Sale-a-bration, Simply Marbleous 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

Here’s our sketch for this week.

My colors are from Just Us Girls Color Week Challenge #615.

I started by adhering a panel of Simply Marbleous DSP to a Smoky Slate card base.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the sentiment from the Flowing Flowers stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink. I stamped the large flower image from the Flowing Flowers stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink around the sentiment. I stamped the small floral image from the Flowing Flowers stamp set in Smoky slate Ink as a fill.

I adhered the Basic White panel to a Silver Foil mat and then to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Sale-a-bration, Stampin’ Up! Special Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set in Smoky Slate Ink on a Basic White panel. I stamped the large flower image from the Flowing Flowers stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on the top and bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Balmy Blue mat and then to the inside of the Smoky Slate card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic Whie Medium Envelope. I stamped the floral image from the Flowing Flowers stamp set in Balmy Blue and Smoky Slate Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of the Simply Marbleous DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone’s weekend going? I had to work all day yesterday to come home to my husband undecorating the house. My plan was to do it today, but he got a head start so I’m not complaining. I thought I was going to get to come home from work to relax and do some stamping, but instead I was packing up Christmas and cleaning. It’s just about done, now I have to jump up in the attic to put away all the boxes. I have a certain way (my OCD strikes again) that I put the boxes so that I know where everything is. Also, I’m the shortest one in the house and I don’t hit my head nearly as much as everyone else. After I’m done with that, I have my monthly team meeting, which I always look forward to. That’s when I’ll get to relax and maybe stamp for a while.

Update to Stampin’ Up!’s Backorder Policy Beginning December 1st

Stampin’ Up! provided us with the following update related to their backorder policy:

As you may have heard reported in the news, unprecedented shipping and logistics issues have resulted in a global supply chain crisis. This is affecting businesses world-wide and Stampin’ Up! is no exception. Due to extreme difficulties caused by these issues, starting 1 December 2021, Stampin’ Up! will no longer take orders for products that are not in stock.

In other words, Stampin’ Up! will no longer accept backorders. This change will help to reduce frustrations from unpredictable product availability and allow you to order products that will be delivered right away, rather than products that may not be delivered for months.

If you’d ever like to know if a product is available, please check the online store Here.

The online store is a great resource to browse products, determine availability, and place orders for in-stock items with me. 

If you currently have items that you’ve ordered that are on backorder, those items will be shipped out to you once the stock as been replenished.  No need to do anything to ensure that your backordered items are delivered.
