Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Thanks

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I have to go into the office today for the end of the month paperwork. I’m hoping to get done quickly so I have the rest of the day to do what I want. Can you believe it’s the last day of June? I can’t. That means it’s also the last day to get the additional 10% off the Stamp & Dies Bundles.

Today’s card is another one that I made last Saturday at the Creativity Now event. This one was a lot of fun to make using the new suite that will be coming in September in the mini catalog. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Bundle that will be available for purchase in September, along with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch for my card today.

I started by using the center panel of the die cut from the card I made at the Creativity Now Event last Saturday. You can see that card Here. I placed the die cut panel on a panel of Basic White and using my Small Blending Brush I added Mossy Meadow Ink. I flipped the panel around and added more Mossy Meadow Ink using the Small Blending Brush. I wrapped a piece of the Natural Tones Linen Thread (available in September) around the panel twice and tied a bow. I adhered the panel to a Mossy Meadow card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Smoky Slate, I stamped the double bird image from the Stampin’ Up! Winterly Tree Tops Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using the Balmy Blue and Watercolor Pencil for the birds and Crushed Curry Watercolor Pencil for the berries I cut the image out using the Winterly Tree Tops Dies. I adhered the birds to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front over the linen thread using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Earthtone Shimmer Gems (available in September) to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a panel of Basic White. I placed the die cut center panel on the top of the Basic White panel and added Mossy Meadow Ink using the Small Blending Brush. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Smoky Slate mat then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the double bird image from the Winterly Tree Tops stamp set in tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. Are you ready for the weekend? I can’t believe it’s the last weekend of June, which also means that the 10% off Stamp & Die Bundle sale is coming to an end. I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Simply Zinnia Bundle and Flowering Zinnias Designer Series Paper for my Fun Fold card today.

I adhered 2 panels of Flowering Zinnias DSP to Basic White mats using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the narrow-layered panel to the folded edge of a Melon Mambo card base using Liquid Gue.

I adhered the larger layered panel to a Melon Mambo card base using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the large zinnia image from the Stampin’ Up! Simply Zinnia Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the image out using the Simply Zinnia Dies. I colored the image using Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Peach Pie and Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the die cut flowers to the folded card front edge using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I cut a few branches using the Simply Zinnia Dies from a panel of Lemon Lime Twist and adhered them behind the zinnias using Glue Dots. I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. I cut the ends into a banner using Paper Snips. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the narrow card front edge. I added a few Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins t the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Zinnia stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic Whtie. I adhered a panel of Flowering Zinnias DSP to the right side of the panel. I stamped the large flower image from the Simply Zinnia stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo, Peach Pie and Petunia Pop Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to the inside of the Melon Mambo card base.

Good Thursday morning my stamping friends and welcome to our Happy Inkin’ Thursday Blog Hop. I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Spotlight on Nature Dies and Country Woods Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I adhered a panel of Country Woods DSP to a Basic Beige card base using Liquid Glue. I cut a panel of Basic Beige using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Using the Country Birdhouse Dies, I cut the flowers from a panel of Petal Pink and the leaves from a panel of Pool Party.

Using the Country Birdhouse Dies I cut the feeder try and pedestal from a panel of Country Woods DSP. In Basic Beige Ink, I stamped the spotted image from the Stampin’ Up! Country Birdhouse Photopolymer Stamp Set on the die cut panel of Basic Beige. I adhered the bird feeder and pedestal to the bottom of the panel using Liquid Glue. I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on the top of the panel. I adhered the flowers and leaves to the pedestal using Liquid Glue, Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the bird image from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. To get the bird facing the opposite way, I stamped the bird image from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a Silicone Craft Sheet. I immediately placed the Basic White panel over the stamped image and gave it a little rub. I colored the images using Misty Moonlight and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the images using the Country Birdhouse Dies. To cut the bird facing the opposite way, I held the Basic White panel up to the light on the back and lined up the die with the bird. I adhered the birds to the feeder using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the flower center and an Adhesive-Backed Swirl Dot next to the sentiment.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink on a panel of Basic Beige. I adhered some die cut flowers and leaves to the corners using Liquid Glue. I adhered the Basic Beige panel to a Pecan Pie mat then to the inside of the Basic Beige card base.

To complete my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the bird image from the Country Birdhouse stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image using Petal Pink and Misty Moonlight Stampin’ Blends Markers. I stamped the spotted image in Basic Beige Ink. I adhered a panel of Country Woods DSP to the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Poised Peony Fun Fold

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We have started our heat wave here in NJ. It’s in the 90’s all week and I think I saw that one day we’re supposed to hit triple digits. I had one outside graduation yesterday and I have another one tonight.

Today’s card we made last Tuesday night at our Stamping Studio for our mystery stamping. We all made the same design, but they all looked different since we used different DSP and stamp sets. It’s so much fun to make and a lot easier that is looks. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! poised Peony Cling Stamp Set along with the Frames & Flowers Specialty Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Simply Said Photopolymer Stamp Set, Online Exclusive Deckled Circles Dies and Fun Patterns Embossing Folder, for my card today.

I started by scoring a Pretty Peacock card base in the center. I adhered a panel of Basic White to the card base using Stampin’ Seal. I scored the Basic White panel in the center using my Paper Trimmer. I stamped the sentiment from the Poised Peony stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink on the top corner of the panel. I scored a panel of Petal Pink on the 2 sides and in the center. I folded the sides back and adhered a panel of Frames & Flowers DSP using Stampin’ Seal. I scored the DSP in the center using the Paper Trimmer. I adhered the layered Petal Pink panel to the center of the Basic White panel lining up the score lines, using Tear & Tape on the ends.

I cut a panel of Lost Lagoon using the 4th smallest die from the Deckled Circles Dies. I embossed the circle using the Fun Patterns EF. I scored the 1″ X 2″ panel in half at 1/2″. I cut the panel in half at 1″ so I had 2 1″ X 1″ scored at 1/2″. I folded them in half and adhered them to the back of the die cut circle and the layered Petal Pink panel using Tear & Tape. On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the medium peony flower from the Poised Peony stamp set in Gray Granite Ink. I colored the image using Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I fussy cut the image using Paper Snips. I adhered the flower to the die cut circle using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a bow using the 1/4″ Petal Pink Diagonal Trim and adhered it to the bottom of the flower using a Glue Dot.

For the band, I scored both ends at 1/2″. I adhered a panel of Frames & Flowers DSP to the band using Stampin’ Seal. Using my Bone Folder I gave it a little curl on the back of the layered panel. I adhered the band to the bottom of the card base using Tear & Tape on the ends. I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies to the card front.

On the back I stamped the large peony flower on a panel of Basic White in Gray Granite Ink. I colored the image using Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Lost Lagoon mat then to the back of the Pretty Peacock card base. On another panel of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink. I stamped the smallest flower from the Poised Peony stamp set in Gray Granite Ink on the bottom of the panel. I colored the image using Lost Lagoon and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the Basic White to a Lost Lagoon mat then to the back of the Pretty Peacock card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium envelope. I stamped the medium peony flower from the Poised Peony stamp set on the envelope front in Gray Granite Ink. Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. Did everyone have a nice weekend? It was beautiful here in NJ, sunny and in the 80’s. Did anyone do anything special for Father’s Day? My husband wanted to make pizza outside in the pizza oven, so I didn’t have to cook. Here in most of NJ this is the last week of school. Which means graduation time. Stampin’ Up! Labeled With Love Birthday

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week already. Hope you are having a good week so far.

Last night was our Stamp Camp Card Class. On of the cards one of the ladies picked used the Brights DSP. I only had one of each color so everyone had a different color card. I had scrap pieces left over from their cards so I decided to make a card with them. If you’d like to see a quick video of how I made this card, Click Here to go to my Instagram Reels. I used the Stampin’ Up! Labeled With Love Bundle along with the Brights 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I adhered 5 panels of Brights DSP to a Basic White card front using Liquid Glue. I adhered the layered panel to a Basic Black card base using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the frame image from the Stampin Up! Labeled With Love Photopolymer Stamp Set in Lemon Lie Twist Ink. I stamped the sentiment from the Labeled With Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink inside the frame. I cut the sentiment out using the Labeled With Love Dies.

I adhered a piece of Black Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack to the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the sentiment over the baker’s twine using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a few Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Labeled With Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered 2 more strips of Brights DSP to either side of the panel. I stamped the outline butterfly image from the Labeled With Love stamp set above the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the solid butterfly image from the Labeled With Love stamp set over the outlined image in Lemon Lime Twist Ink. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic White mat then to the inside of the Basic Black card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the outline butterfly image from the Labeled With Love stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I stamped the solid butterfly image from the Labeled With Love stamp set in Lemon Lime Twist Ink over the outlined image. I adhered a panel of the Brights DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. Does anyone have any plans in the works? I’ll be at work all day today and I have a feeling it’s going to be a slow day. The weather is cloudy and blah. People can’t do outside work, so unless they have indoor projects like painting, they will not be visiting us. Looks like I’ll be bringing my Stampin’ Up! catalog with me for some card ideas.

Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Friendship

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. We’re back to rain here in NJ. This has been one wet winter so far and not with snow. The snow we were supposed to get, turned out to be a big disappointment last week. This back-and-forth temperature has been horrible. Last week we were in the teens and this week back up to the 50’s.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Country Bouquet Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder, the Waves Dies and Sale-a-bration Most Adored Designer Series Paper for my card today.

I started by adhering 2 panels of Most Adored DSP to Real Red mats using Stampin’ Seal. I embossed a Basic White card front using the Layered Florals EF.

I adhered the 2 layered panels to the card front using Liquid Glue, I stamped the sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Basic White. I sprinkled it with Gold Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I cut the sentiment out using the Waves Dies.

I threaded 1/4″ Real Red Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack through the sentiment. I adhered it to the back of the card front using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the card front to a Real Red card base using Liquid Glue. I added a few Iridescent Foil Gems to the card front.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Country Bouquet stamp set in real Red Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the open-heart images from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the Basic White panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Flirty Flamingo mat then to the inside of the Real Red card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the open-heart images from the Country Bouquet stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink on the envelope front. I adhered a panel of Most Adored DSP to the envelope flap.

More Kits And Kit Updates Coming in 2024!!

If you love the kits as much as I do, you’ll be happy to see changes coming to the Kits Collection in 2024! Here are some changes that you’ll see:

  • Doubling the yearly offering. Starting January 2024, Stampin’ Up! will release two kits per month in a variety of kit types and styles.
  • Discontinuing older kits. As the new kits are introduced, Stampin’ Up! will discontinue older kits.  So pick up any of the older kits that you’d like soon so that you don’t miss out!   
  • Removing printed artwork from kit stamp set acetate sheets. Stamps in kits will no longer have printed stamp set acetate sheets. This means the kit artwork will no longer be printed on the stamp acetate sheets.  This change will apply to both the Kits Collection kits and Paper Pumpkin stamp sets.  As a replacement for the printed stamp acetate sheet currently in each stamping kit, Stampin’ Up! will include a separate paper print piece that displays the stamp artwork and stamp name.  This new piece will be a great resource for identifying and storing kit stamps.
    • For Paper Pumpkin, the acetate sheet change will start with the first kit of 2024.
    • For the Kits Collection, the acetate sheet change will start with the first stamping kit release after June 2024.  This will be a rolling change, so kits released before June 2024 may be replenished with stamps that do not have printed acetate sheets.
