Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. I hope you all had a wonderful week and are getting ready for the weekend. It’s going to be a rainy day here, which might mean great day for card making if I don’t get myself involved with too many other things.
My card today just has an extra fold on it, not really a fun fold. This wasn’t what I was planning on making for my live on Wednesday. I wasn’t able to go live since I got myself so involved cutting my neighbors hedges that they haven’t trimmed back in years and were over growing in my yard. By the time I was done it was just about 4 and I was covered in twigs and leaves. I’ll be back next Wednesday at 4pm ET on my YouTube channel. Here’s my card for today. I used the Stampin’ Up! Bird’s Eye Vies Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Happy Labels Photopolymer Stamp Set, Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, Online Exclusive Basics 3D Embossing Folder, All About Autumn 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper and Deckled Circles Dies (both available September 6) for my card today.
I started by adhering a panel of All About Autumn DSP to a Distressed Gold mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the layered panel twice and tied a bow. I adhered the layered panel to a Copper Clay card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I cut a panel of Very Vanilla using the 8th from the largest Deckled Circles Dies. I stamped the book image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set on the bottom of the circle in Tuxedo Black Ink. I stamped the bird image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on top of the books. I stamped the eye glass image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set on the bird in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the images using Copper Clay, Crumb Cake, Moody Mauve, Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I embossed the image using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I scored and folded the circle on the right side at 1/2″.
Using a little Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the folded edge of the circle, I adhered the artwork behind the card front. I added a few 2023-2025 In-Color Dots to the card front.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Labels stamp set in Copper Clay Ink on a panel of Very Vanilla. I stamped the book image from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel and colored it using Copper Clay, Moody Mauve, Mossy Meadow and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a strip of the All About Autumn DSP to the top of the panel. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Wild Wheat mat then to the inside of the Copper Clay card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Very Vanilla Medium Envelope. I stamped the books, bird and eye glass images from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image the same as I did for the card using the Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of All About Autumn DSP to the envelope flap.

Sales Tax Holiday Going On!!!
Thirteen states are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!
The states with upcoming tax holidays are: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia.
