Good Sunday morning my stamping friends. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend. It’s supposed to be sunny and warm here today, a bit of a change from yesterday’s rain all day. We went to the fund raiser last night and for the 1st time in quite a few years, my daughter and I came home with 3 baskets we won. My nephew won 1 and my niece won 2. It was a good night for all or us.
I have a quick card for you today with one of the new sets from the annual catalog which happens to be one of my favorites. Here’s my card for today.
I used the Stampin’ Up! Crafting With You Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Vertical Blooms Photopolymer Stamp Set and Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper for my card today.
My design is from Freshly Made Sketches #586.
My colors are from the Color Throwdown Challenge #743.
I started by adhering a panel of the Delightfully Eclectic DSP to a Bubble Bath card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
On a panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the easel image from the Crafting With You stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink to the right of the panel. I stamped the flower image from the Crafting With You stamp set on the easel. I inked the flower image with Bubble Bath Ink, then colored the leaves using the Parakeet Party Stampin’ Write Marker. I adhered the Basic Whtie panel the left side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
I stamped the sentiment from the Vertical Blooms stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Parakeet Party cardstock. I sprinkled it with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. I adhered the sentiment to the left side of the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a few Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to the flower centers.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Crafting With You stamp set in Parakeet Party Ink on a panel of Basic White. I stamped the flower image from the Crafting With You stamp set on the top of the panel, I inked the stamp using Bubble Bath Ink, then I colored the leaves using the Parakeet Party Stampin’ Write Marker. I adhered a strip of the Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Parakeet Party mat then to the inside of the Bubble Bath card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the flower image from the Crafting With You stamp set on the envelope front, coloring the same as I did for the card. I adhered a panel of Delightfully Eclectic DSP to the envelope flap.
