Stampin’ Up! Layers of Beauty Anniversary

Good Wednesday morning stamping friends. We’re already halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend. I know this was a short week for some because of the weather. It’s a normal week for me, even though we got a lot of snow, the store was open Monday morning, just a couple hours later than normal to give everyone time to get in.

Today’s card I let the DSP do all the work for me. I love the Stampin’ Up! DSP, it gives me colors to use and makes card fronts all by itself. Adhere a panel of Cute as a Bug DSP to a Cajun Craze mat. Go over the wings of the bugs on the paper with a Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.

Stamp the sentiment from Layers of Beauty stamp set in Versamark Ink on a panel of Cajun Craze. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the sentiment out using the Everyday Arches Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front and trim off the excess with snips.

Adhere the layered card front to an Old Olive card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere 2 strips of Cute as a Bug DSP to the sides of the panel. Stamp the toadstool image from the Sweet Bugs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. Color the images using Cajun Craze and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Cajun Craze mat then to the inside of the Old Olive card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the toadstool image from the Sweet Bugs stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Color the images with Cajun Craze and Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere a panel of Cute as a Bug DSP to the envelope flap.

Good Monday morning stamping friends. How was your weekend? Tara and I had our online class yesterday and had a lot of fun creating with everyone. I’m already looking forward to our February class. It’s still snowing a bit here. This storm is supposed to continue until 1pm today. The snow is very deep too. Stampin’ Up! Sweet Jar of Love

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend already. It’s bee COLD here in NJ. Last night we were at -2, that’s about 78 degrees too cold for me. Last I heard we’re expecting a foot of snow this weekend. My husband is never going to finish shoveling at this rate.

Today’s card is for the inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #223b is Cozy New Year. I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Jar Bundle along with the Stampin’ Up! Simply Said Stamp Set, Perennial Postage Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies and Hearts of Love Embossing Folder for my card today. I was inspired by all the hearts and colors for my Clean & Layered card.

Cut a panel of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock using the largest Perennial Postage Die.

Using the largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, cut the panel of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock and the Basic Black card base. Emboss the Real Red panel using the Hearts of Love EF. Use a sanding block over the Two-Tone cardstock to highlight the hearts. Adhere the embossed panel to the card front, lining up the die cut areas.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Simply Said stamp set in Real Red Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the smallest Perennial Postage Die. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a couple Holographic Resin Dots, colored with the Real Red Stampin’ Blend Marker, to the sentiment.

Stamp the jar image from the Sweet Jar stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink on a Basic White panel making sure it will show through the opening on the card front. Stamp the detailed heart image from the Sweet Jar stamp set in Real Red Ink inside the jar. Stamp the solid heart image from the Sweet Jar stamp set in Real Red Ink, stamping off 2 times on scrap paper, over the detailed image. Stamp the small heart images from the Sweet Jar stamp set above the jar. Stamp the sentiments from the Sweet Jar stamp set in Tuxedo Black and Real Red Inks. Using the Sweet Jar Builder Punch, punch the lid out of the scrap of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock and adhere it to the jar. Add a Holographic Resin Dot that was colored with Real Red Stampin’ Blend Marker, to the lid knob.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to complete the card. Stamp the small heart images from the Sweet Jar stamp set in Real Red Ink across the bottom of the envelope front. emboss a panel of Real Red Two-Tone cardstock using the Hearts of Love EF. Use a sanding block on the embossed panel and adhere it to the envelope flap.

Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you’re having a great weekend. It’s a rainy wet one here in NJ. They said we’re supposed to have a mix of rain and snow today, that means I’m staying in ALL day. I’ll be cutting more of my product shares up today and hopefully starting to pack some of them up.

I played with a new embossing folder with older DSP and new bundle for today’s card which went together pretty quickly. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Banner Sayings Bundle along with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder, Beautiful Bokeh 6 x 6 Designer Series Paper and Covered in Flowers Accents for my card today.

Emboss a panel of Beautiful Bokeh DSP using the Stone & Vine EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Balmy Blue mat on an angle. Adhere the layered panel to a Fresh Freesia card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere the Covered in Flowers Accents to the card front. Add a piece of the new Balmy Blue 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon to the card front.

On a panel of Fresh Freesia, stamp the sentiment from the Banner Sayings stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the sentiment out using the Three Banner Punch and adhere the sentiment over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few of the Clear Gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Banner Sayings stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on a panel of Basic White. Emboss a panel of Beautiful Bokeh DSP and adhere it to the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Balmy Blue mat then to the inside of the Fresh Freesia card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Adhere a panel of Beautiful Bokeh DSP to the front of the envelope. Emboss a panel of the Beautiful Bokeh DSP and adhere it to the envelope flap.
