Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Wishes in Pinks

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend!! Happy Valentine’s Day!! Hope you have some fun plans in the works for today. I’ll be at work all day.

I have another sneak peek for you today of another bundle coming on March 3. I just love the delicate dies that come in this bundle. Here’s my card for today.

I used the new Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Wishes Bundle along with the Stone & Vine 3D Embossing Folder for my card today.

The colors are from the Hand Stamped Color Challenge #481.

Emboss a Bubble Bath card front using the Stone & Vine EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Bubble Bath card base.

Stamp the large scallop frame image from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the image using White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool. Cut the image out using the Scalloped Wishes Dies. Cut the next size smaller Scalloped Wishes Die from a panel of Bubble Bath and Basic White. Adhere the Bubble Bath die to the Strawberry Slush stamped die cut, lining up the dotted image in the scallops from the die. Adhere the layered die cut to the card front.

On the center oval from the Basic White die cut, stamp the cattail image from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink. Stamp the sentiment from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set above the image in Flirty Flamingo Ink. Using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker, color the top of the cattails. Adhere the artwork to the center of the layered frame. On the panel of Basic White, stamp the dragonfly image from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink. Cut the image out using the Scalloped Wishes Dies. Adhere the dragonfly image to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Flirty Flamingo Garden Epoxy Dots to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink. Stamp the cattail image from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the bottom of the panel. Color the cattail tops using the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Marker. Stamp the dragonfly image from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set by the sentiment and the cattail image. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Strawberry Slush mat then to the inside of the Bubble Bath card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the cattail image from the Scalloped Wishes stamp set in Crumb Cake Ink on the envelope front and flap. Stamp the dragonfly image from the Scalloped Wises stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink around the images.

Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane for The Card Concepts

Good Wednesday morning my stamping friends. How is everyone doing today? We’re halfway through the week and on our way to the weekend already. It’s warming up a bit here in NJ. We’ve been in the 30’s finally, still dropping to the teens at night though so everything could freeze up again.

Today’s card is for the inspiration challenge from The Card Concepts. The inspiration photo #224 is Monochromatic Greens. I used the Stampin’ Up! Greenery Lane Bundle along with the new Paradise Garden Hybrid Embossing Folder (available March 3). I was inspired by the theme along with the greenery in the photo for my Clean & Layered card.

Emboss a panel of Garden Green Two-Tone Cardstock using the Paradise Garden EF. Use a sanding block and go over the panel to highlight the leaves. Adhere a panel of Wood Textured Paper to the center of the embossed panel. Adhere the embossed panel to the front of a Garden Green card base.

Stamp the leaf image from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere the stamped panel to a Garden Green mat and to a Soft Sea Foam mat. Adhere the layered panel to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Using the Greenery Lane Dies, cut the leaf die from a panel of Garden Green. Adhere it to the stamped Basic White panel. Tie a small bow using the Garden Green 1/8″ Chevron Ribbon and adhere it to the stem with a Glue Dot. Add a few Shades of Green Hexagons to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Garden Green Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the leaf image from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink, stamping it off once on scrap paper, over the sentiment. Adhere a panel of Garden Green Two-Tone cardstock that was embossed with the Paradise Garden EF and sanded using the sanding block, on the bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Garden Green mat and a Soft Sea Foam mat then to the inside of the Garden Green card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to complete the card. Stamp the leaf image from the Greenery Lane stamp set in Garden Green Ink, stamped off once on scrap paper and Soft Sea Foam Ink, on the bottom front of the envelope. Using the Blending Brush, add sone Soft Sea Foam Ink to a panel of Wood Textured Paper and adhere it to the envelope flap.

February’s Free Online Fun Fold Class Registration Open – February 15th

It’s time to cash in those Bonus Coupons (starting February 3), so Tara Carpenter and I are offering a Free Online Zoom Class for February.  We will be creating 6 different Fun Fold cards; we’re hoping to show you how easy some fun folds can be.  This class will be FREE with a $50 purchase from my Online Store.   We will not be sharing the products we are using since the cards we make live will most likely be using new products that will be available in March (a week after the class).

Good Freezing Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope you are having a great weekend. This has been by far the coldest winter in NJ I remember. The temps are supposed to be warming up to the 30’s this week last I saw. It was 1-degree this morning when I looked with a negative real feel with the winds.

My card today features my 2 favorite 2025-2027 In-Colors, Cloud Cover and Secret Sea, along with my favorite, lots of layers. I love this color combination and hope that one day they make these 2 colors permanent. What are your favorite In-Colors? Here’s my card for today.

February’s Free Online Fun Fold Class Registration Open

It’s time to cash in those Bonus Coupons (starting February 3), so Tara Carpenter and I are offering a Free Online Zoom Class for February.  We will be creating 6 different Fun Fold cards; we’re hoping to show you how easy some fun folds can be.  This class will be FREE with a $50 purchase from my Online Store.   We will not be sharing the products we are using since the cards we make live will most likely be using new products that will be available in March (a week after the class).

The class requirements:

  • Visit my Online Store and place a $50 or more order before tax and shipping and after coupon codes.
  • Once you have made the purchase, fill out the Google Form HERE and submit.

What you will receive:

  • Zoom class with complete step by step instructions to complete each card as we go.
  • PDF with detailed directions and photos

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Bugs for Fun Fold Friday

Good Friday morning stamping friends and welcome to my Fun Fold Friday. I hope you all had a wonderful week and are looking forward to the weekend ahead.

I have a quick fun fold for you today playing with one of my absolute favorite sets from the January-April Mini Catalog. I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this set at first, but when you start to play with it, you just can’t stop. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Bugs Bundle along with the Cute as a Bug Designer Series Paper and Stylish Shapes Dies for my card today.

Cut the Blackberry Bliss card base 1 1/4″ in from the score line down to the edge on both sides. Adhere the 2 side panels down to the inside of the card base so that you only have the 3″ flap in the center.

Adhere the 2 panels of Cute as a Bug DSP to the side panels. Wrap a piece of Old Olive 3/8″ Specialty Rickrack around the panel of Cute as a Bug DSP, adhering it on the back of the panel. Adhere the panel of Cute as a Bug DSP to the center panel of the Blackberry Bliss card base. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Sweet Bgs stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the 2nd from the smallest circle Stylish Shapes Dies.

Using the smallest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, cut a couple of the bug from a panel of Cute as a Bug DSP. Adhere the sentiment to the card front, over the ribbon, using Stampin’ Dimesionals. Adhere the die cut bugs around the sentiment. Add a few Dear Dots to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the grass/flower image from the Sweet Bugs stamp set in Old Olive Ink across the bottom of the panel. Add a couple of the images from the Cute as a Bug DSP that you either die cut with the Sweet Bugs Dies or fussy cut to the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Poppy Parade mat then to the inside of the Blackberry Bliss card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish the card. Stamp the grass/flower image from the Sweet Bugs stamp set in Old Olive Ink on the envelope front. Adhere a panel of Cute as a Bug DSP to the envelope flap.

Adhere the panel of Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP to the Gold Foil Mat. Adhere the layered panel to the front of the Secret Sea card base.

Stamp the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up! Snowflake Kisses Photopolymer Stamp Set in Secret Sea Ink on the panel of Basic White. Cut the sentiment out using the Traditional Labels Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Faceted Snowflakes to the card front.

Score the smaller panel of Secret Sea as listed below. Using the Snowflake Kisses Dies, cut snowflakes out on either side of the center score line (but not over the top of it).

Adhere the 2 smaller panels of the Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP to the inside center of the Secret Sea card base. Add Tear & Tape to the 1/2″ sides of the die cut panel. Adhere the 2 Vellum panels to the back of the die cut panel. Fold the die cut panel in half with the tear & tape folded out and place it 1/4″ from the outside edge of the Secret Sea card base. Remove the strip of the Tear & Tape and fold the card base over the die cut panel. Flip the card base over and do the same to the other side.

Stamp the sentiments from the Snowflake Kisses stamp set in Secret Sea Ink on the 2 panels on Basic White. Stamp the small snowflake image from the Delicate Pines stamp set on the panel in Secret Sea Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. Die cut one of the panels in the corner using the smallest collage of snowflakes dies from the Snowflake Kisses Dies. On the other panel, add the small snowflakes that were cut from the center panel to the corners. Adhere the Basic White panels to the inside of the Secret Sea card base on either side of the mechanism. A tealight will fit inside to make the snowflakes glow.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the snowflake images from the Delicate Pines stamp set in Secret Sea Ink, full strength and stamped off once on scrap paper. Adhere a panel of Elegant Pine Snowflakes to the envelope flap.

Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. Yesterday after a delicious breakfast we all packed up said our good-byes till next year’s retreat and headed out. I drove back to TN with my favorite roomies, Judi and Tara and I’ll be spending a couple days at Judi’s.

I mixed up an older set and new set for today’s card. This one can be used as a holiday card or just a winter card. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Snowy Delight Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Falling Snow Cling Stamp Set and Peaceful Garden Glimmer Specialty Paper for my card today.

Stamp the image from the Falling Snow stamp set in Versamark Ink on a Blueberry Bushel card front. Sprinkle the image with White Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool.

Cut the 2 snowflake dies from the Snowy Delight Dies, one from a panel of Basic White and the other from a panel of Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper. Adhere the snowflakes to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment from the Snowy Delights stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on a panel of Basic White. Adhere the sentiment to the card front. Add a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the card front.

Stamp the sentiment from the Snowy Delights stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the small snowflake image from the Snowy Delights stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on either side of the sentiment. Tap the Blueberry Bushel Stampin’ Write Marker on a Bone Folder to splatter the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Blueberry Bushel mat then to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the sentiment from the Snowy Delights stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the envelope front. Stamp the small snowflake image from the Snowy Delights stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink on the envelope flap.
