Registration Open for our August Online Technique Class

Tara Carpenter, Nicole Bloxom and I are teaming up to offer a fun Technique Online Zoom Class.  We will be creating 6 different cards using 6 different techniques.  This class is free with a $50 purchase from my Online Store.  We will supply a list of supplies we are going to be using in the next couple days. We decided to open registration early so you can take advantage of the Free Shipping and my Double Rewards and also earn a free class.

The class requirements and What You Will Receive:

Good Saturday morning stamping friends, welcome to the weekend. What kind of plans do you have for the weekend? I’ll be working all day today and tomorrow Tara and I will be holding our Sweet Jar of Joy Online Zoom class. I used the Stampin’ Up! With You IN Mind Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Stampin’ Up! Paper Tags Cling Stamp Set, Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder and Blackberry Bliss Two-Tone Cardstock for my card today.

Emboss a panel of Blackberry Bliss Tow-Tone cardstock using the Pressed Flowers EF. Stamp the sentiment from With You in Mind stamp set in Versamark Ink on the top of the panel. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it with the Heat Tool.

With a very fine piece of sandpaper or a craft sanding block, lightly go over the embossed portion of the card front to bring out the core white. Adhere the embossed panel to a Basic White mat.

Wrap a piece of White 1/4″ Starter Ribbon around the layered panel and tie a bow. Adhere the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Iridescent Faceted Gems to the card front.

Adhere a panel of Mossy Meadow to a Fresh Freesia card base with Stampin’ Seal. Score the 3 1/4″ x 5″ panel of Basic Beige at 1″ on the top and fold. Adhere the folded panel to the back of the Basic Beige panel with Stampin’ Seal.

Cut 1″ off either side of the 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ panel of Splendid Autumn DSP with your Paper Trimmer. Adhere the 2 – 1″ pieces to the larger Basic Beige panel with Stampin’ Seal. Fold the flap down and adhere the center panel to the card flap with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the Basic Beige layered panel to the Mossy Meadow mat with Liquid Glue.

On the small panel of Basic Beige, stamp the sentiment from Year of Flowers stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tie a Linen Thread double bow and adhere it to the sentiment with a Glue Dot. Add a Muted Palette Dot to the sentiment.

Adhere the Basic Beige panel to the card base under the flap.

My colors are from Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge #466

My design is from Sunday Stamps Challenge #364.

From scraps of Full of Life DSP cut 5 of the smallest Everyday Arches Dies. From a panel of Country Wood DSP, cut 5 of the long ovals from the More Messages Dies. Adhere the long oval die cuts to the Everyday Arches die cuts with Glue Dots to make ice pops. Adhere one of the ice pops to the card front with Glue Dots. Adhere the other 2 ice pops to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Tie a small bow with the Strawberry Slush twine from the Pack Your Bags Twine Three-Pack. Adhere the bow to the bottom of the card front with a Glue Dot. Adhere the layered sentiment over the bow with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few 2024-2026 In-Color Flat Pearls to the card front.

I played with a stamp from the Annual Catalog that I didn’t think I would use. I was definitely mistaken, I’m loving this one. Here’s my card for today.

Cut 2 of the sprigs using the Year of Flowers Dies from a panel of Bubble Bath. Adhere the sprigs to the sentiment with Glue Dots. Stamp the sentiment from Perfectly Pears stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on a panel of Basic White. Stamp the small, detailed pear image from the Perfectly Pears stamp set in Mossy Meadow Ink on the side of the panel. Stamp the solid pear image in Old Olive Ink over the outlined image. Stamp the splatter image from the Perfectly Pears stamp set in Darling Duckling Ink around the image. Color the leaves and branch with Old Olive and pecan Pie Stampin’ Blends Markers. Adhere 2 strips of Painterly Pears DSP to the top and bottom of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Darling Duckling mat then to the inside of the Mossy Meadow card base.
