Registration for Cheers & Sips Online Zoom Class Open

Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the holiday weekend. I hope you are starting to make some plans. I’ll be working all day today, but I have off Sunday and Monday.

Tara Carpenter and I are teaming up to offer a fun online class using Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Cheers & Sips Bundle.  We will be creating 6 different cards during the class including 2 fun folds.

The class fee includes:

  • Stampin’ Up! Holographic Resin Dots (full pack)
  • Stampin’ Up! Gold Striped Mesh Ribbon (full pack)
  • Pre-cut card kits to complete each card
  • Zoom class with complete instructions to complete each card
  • PDF with detailed directions

During sign up you will have the option to add additional items to your order that you can take advantage of at no additional shipping cost.  These items are optional, however if you want to recreate the cards you will need them.

The class will be held Sunday June 29th from 1 to 5 pm Eastern Time via Zoom.  This allows anyone in the United States to participate live!  Can’t join us live… no worries, we will record the session so it can be replayed at any time.

We will email written directions that will include directions, cardstock cuts as well as photos to help you create each card.

We are not including the bundle in the price of the class.  You can purchase the bundle through me at an additional 10% discount of the Online Exclusive price (see below).

Adhere a panel of Floral Impressions DSP to a Basic White mat with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to a Garden Green card base with Stampin’ Seal. From a panel of Basic White and Blackberry Bliss, cut the 2-part oval using the Floral Impressions Dies. Adhere the Blackberry Bliss oval frame and Basic White center to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the large, detailed flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Impressions Abloom Photopolymer Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink. Stamp the small, detailed flower image from Impressions Abloom stamp set in Blackberry Bliss Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper. Stamp the detailed daisy image from Impressions Abloom stamp set in Timid Tiger Ink. Stamp the large solid flower image from Impressions Abloom stamp set in Fresh Freesia Ink. Stamp the small solid flower image in Fresh Freesia Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the detailed image. Stamp the solid daisy image in Timid Tiger Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the detailed daisy image. Stamp the detailed flower centers in Darling Duckling Ink. Stamp the solid flower center images in Darling Duckling Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, over the detailed images. Using the Impressions Abloom Dies, cut the flower images out. Designer Series Paper Online Zoom Class

Tara Carpenter and I are super excited about offering you this Free Online Zoom Class

Do you struggle with different ways to use all your Designer Series Paper? Tara and I are teaming up for a Zoom class to show you 6 different cards using just Designer Series Paper and a Sentiment. Of course, we’ll add embellishments and maybe ribbon or twine, but this class will primarily be using DSP. We have picked a pack of DSP with all the new 2025-2027 In-Colors and that’s what we will be focusing on. You can see the DSP starting on page 40 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. The class will be held on Sunday May 18th from 1pm-5pm ET. The best part is you can earn this class absolutely FREE. You will cut all the cardstock and DSP of your choice prior to the class so you are ready to go. We will NOT be cutting up cardstock or DSP the day of the event. You will choose the color cardstock and your favorite DSP to use from what you purchase. Please remember to order early so that you receive it on time to prep for the class.

Good Monday morning stamping friends Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Welcome to a new week! I hope you had a great weekend. It’s the eve before the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog, May Online Exclusives and May Kits are available to purchase. I hope you have your shopping lists ready to go. I used the Stampin’ Up! Layered Thoughts Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, Spotlight on Nature Dies, Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive You Are Remarkable Photopolymer Stamp Set and Fancy Borders Dies for my card today.

My sketch is from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #684. I changed is up a little and turned it sideways.

I also played along with The Flower Challenge #102. I have stripes on the background and spots by the flower.

Emboss a Flirty Flamingo card front using the Mini Corrugated EF. Cut a panel of Daffodil Delight using the Fancy Borders Dies. On a panel of Misty Moonlight, stamp the sentiments from Layered Thoughts stamp set in Versamark Ink. Sprinkle the sentiment with White Embossing Powder and set it using the Heat Tool.

Adhere the die cut Daffodil Delight panel to the back of the sentiment panel using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the layered panel to the bottom of the Flirty Flamingo panel using Liquid Glue. Adhere the layered panel to a Misty Moonlight card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the solid flower image from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Flirty Flamingo Ink. Stamp the solid stem/leaf image from You Are Remarkable stamp set in Old Olive Ink. Stamp the flower center and splatter images from the You Are Remarkable stamp set in Daffodil Delight Ink. Cut the image out using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. Adhere the die cut image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Tiny Bee Trinkets to the card front.

Good Monday morning stamping friends and welcome to a new week. How was your weekend? I was at the vendor event all day Saturday and yesterday Tara and I had our 3rd Online Zoom class. Tara Carpenter and I are super excited about offering you this Free Online Zoom Class

Do you struggle with different ways to use all your Designer Series Paper? Tara and I are teaming up for a Zoom class to show you 6 different cards using just Designer Series Paper and a Sentiment. Of course, we’ll add embellishments and maybe ribbon or twine, but this class will primarily be using DSP. We have picked a pack of DSP with all the new 2025-2027 In-Colors and that’s what we will be focusing on. You can see the DSP starting on page 40 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. The class will be held on Sunday May 18th from 1pm-5pm ET. The best part is you can earn this class absolutely FREE. You will cut all the cardstock and DSP of your choice prior to the class so you are ready to go. We will NOT be cutting up cardstock or DSP the day of the event. Stamp the flower image from Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on a panel of Basic White. Color the image using Calypso Coral and Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the splatter image from Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Lemon Lolly Ink around the flower image.

Adhere a strip of Country Woods DSP to the side of the Basic White panel using Stampin’ Seal. Wrap a piece of Lemon Lolly Baker’s Twine around the panel twice and tie a bow. Adhere the panel to a Basic Gray card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Blooming Phrases stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Adhere the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a Brushed Brass Butterfly by the flowers.

Stamp the leaf image from Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the bottom of the panel. Color the image with Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends Markers. Stamp the splatter image from Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Lemon Lolly Ink around the leaves. Adhere a strip of Country Woods DSP to the side of the panel. Adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Gray mat then to the inside of the Basic Gray card base.

Decorate a Basic white Medium Envelope to finish the card. Stamp the flower and butterfly images from the Spotlight on Nature stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. Good Saturday morning stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. What do you have planned for today? I’ll be at work and of course it’s the first warmer day we’re having. It’s actually supposed to be in the low 80’s. It is going to be a busy day selling gardening supplies and clean up.

Today’s card is yellow. How many of you know how much I do not really like yellow? Every once in a while, I like to challenge myself to use something I’m not a fan of. Today I challenged myself to use yellow. Do you ever challenge yourself to use something you don’t like? I hate to admit it, but I like the way the card came out. I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Thankful Garden Bundle, Lovely Garden Designer Series Paper and Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Sentimental Framing Photopolymer Stamp Set (available May 6th) for my card today.

Adhere the 2 1/2″ x 4″ panel of Lovely Garden DSP to the top of the Fresh Freesia mat using Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the 2 3/4″ x 4″ panel of Lovely Garden DSP to the bottom of the Fresh Freesia mat using Stampin’ Seal. On a panel of Basic White, stamp the flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Stamp the image again so that you get the smaller flower from the image which you will be cutting out. Using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks and the Blending Brushes, use Fresh Freesia Ink with masks #1, #2 & #3 on both flowers. Use Garden Green Ink and the Blending Brushes with masks #4 & #5 for the stem and leaves on the full flower image. Cut the images out using the Thankful Garden Dies.

Here is the template for the drapery so that you could make it

Using the template above, score and fold the 3″ x 6″ panel of Lovely Garden DSP. Adhere the folded panel to the bottom half of the layered panel using Tear & Tape across the top and Stampin’ Seal on the left side panel. Wrap a piece of White 1/4″ Diagonal Trim around the layered panel, adhering in on the back with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere the small flower to the large flower image using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the large flower image to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the bottom right of the card front, stamp the sentiment from Sentimental Framing stamp set in garden Green Ink. Adhere the layered card front to the Garden Green card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Rhinestones Basic Jewels to the card front.

Karen & Tara’s Florals in Bloom Designer Series Paper Online Zoom Class Open for Registration

Hi stamping friends. This is my 2nd post today. If you are looking for my card you can find it Here.

Do you struggle with different ways to use all your Designer Series Paper? Tara and I are teaming up for a Zoom class to show you 6 different cards using just Designer Series Paper and a Sentiment. Of course, we’ll add embellishments and maybe ribbon or twine, but this class will primarily be using DSP. We have picked a pack of DSP with all the new 2025-2027 In-Colors and that’s what we will be focusing on. You can see the DSP starting on page 40 of the 2025-2026 Annual Catalog. The class will be held on Sunday May 18th from 1pm-5pm ET. The best part is you can earn this class absolutely FREE. You will cut all the cardstock and DSP of your choice prior to the class so you are ready to go. We will NOT be cutting up cardstock or DSP the day of the event. You will choose the color cardstock and your favorite DSP to use from what you purchase. Please remember to order early so that you receive it on time to prep for the class.

NEW Stampin’ Up! Reward Program Coming in April 15th

Stampin’ Up! will be updating their Reward Program starting April 15th. The current Stampin’ Rewards program that Stampin’ Up! has had for many years will be going away in mid-April.  You’ll soon be able to earn Stampin’ Rewards on smaller orders!  Here are the basics:

This does mean that my $10 thank you gifts will also be going away on April 13 since I used the host rewards to “purchase” those gifts for everyone.  But since you’ll be earning 10% back in rewards directly from Stampin’ Up! with every order of $20+, you’re going to be able to cash in those rewards for anything that you’d like on any order that you’d like to use them on!

You’ll no longer need to place a large order of $150+ to earn free product like you do with the current Stampin’ Rewards system. 

Starting April 15 at 8 AM MT and moving forward, you will earn 10% rewards with orders of $20+!! So if you place an order of $50, you’ll earn a $5 reward to use the next time you shop!

You can save your rewards for up to a year!  So you can spend them on a future order all at once or a little at at time. 

Additionally, the “host code” will be going away, so beginning April 15, you’ll no longer need to apply my current host code to your order.

What won’t be changing:
My Creative Stamping Designs Rewards program will not be changing.  So, no worries there!  You’ll still continue to earn reward points toward free Stampin’ Up! merchandise from me with every order of $50+!  And any points/rewards/gifts that you’ve collected from me up until this point will still be valid.  You won’t be losing out on anything that you’ve earned from me, and you’ll continue to earn points toward free merchandise with every order of $50+ just like you do now.  

What should you know now to prepare for these changes?
Here are a few things that you can do to make the transition to the new program as smooth as possible:

  • You need to have a Stampin’ Up! online store account at stampinup.com so you can earn and redeem rewards.
    • I will not be able to create and manage customer accounts.  I’ll be able to help you with ordering if you need me.  But because of stricter banking policies and data/privacy laws, you need to officially be in charge of your own customer account for earning & redeeming rewards.  So make sure you can log in at stampinup.com.
  • You will need to opt into the program to earn and redeem Stampin’ Rewards.  When you place your first order after April 15, you’ll have the option to opt into the new rewards program.  If you choose not to opt in with your first order, you’ll have the option to opt in at any point when you order after that.
  • If you don’t want a Stampin’ Up! online store account, you can still order SU products through me. You just won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards directly for your purchases.  I’ll receive the rewards and I’ll need to apply them to future orders for you.
  • If you don’t want to opt into the rewards program, you don’t have to opt in.  You can still order; you just won’t receive the Stampin’ Rewards for your purchases.

Again, these changes will begin April 15th at 8 AM Mountain Time.  I’m notifying you a little early so that you are ready for these changes.  Let me know if you have any questions.  I’m excited for you all to start earning rewards on orders of $20+ soon!

Paper Pumpkin Price Increase Starting May 11th!!

Beginning Friday, April 11, Paper Pumpkin is increasing its subscription prices in the United States and Canada to accommodate rising manufacturing costs. All new subscriptions purchased on or after April 11 will be at the new price.

Starting Tuesday, April 15, all Paper Pumpkin subscription purchases will qualify for rewards through the new Stampin’ Rewards program.

Good Tuesday morning stamping friends. I hope your week has started off well. Today’s a big day for demonstrators. We get to preorder products from the new 2025-2026 Annual Catalog along with the catalogs. If you’re a customer of mine, I’ll be sending them out just as soon as I receive them.

I played with one of my favorite Online Exclusive bundles for today’s card. I’ve used this set so much already and it’s still a fairly new one. Here’s my card for today.

I used the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusive Thankful Garden Bundle and Textured Notes Dies along with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper, Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder and Stampin’ Up! Everyday Details Cling Stamp Set for my card today.

Emboss a Gray Granite card front using the Birch Wood EF. Adhere the embossed panel to a Petal Pink card base using Liquid Glue. Cut a panel of Country Woods DSP using the Textured Notes Dies. Adhere the die cut panel to the card front using Liquid Glue.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the flower image from the Stampin’ Up! Thankful Garden Photopolymer Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Using the Thankful Garden Decorative Masks and Small Blending Brushes add Petal Pink Ink with masks #1,2 & 3. Using Decorative Masks #4 & 5 add Soft Sea Foam Ink with the Small Blending Brushes. Cut the image out using the Thankful Garden Dies. Cut a panel of Soft Sea Foam using the large leaf die from the Thankful Garden Dies. Using the Small Blending Brush, add Soft Sea Foam Ink on the leaves. Adhere the leaves and flowers to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Everyday Details stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Cut the sentiment out using the narrow die from the Textured Notes Dies. Loop a piece of White 1/4″ Ribbon and adhere it to the flower stem using a Glue Dot. Adhere the sentiment over the ribbon using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a few Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems to the card front.

On a panel of Basic White, stamp the sentiment from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. Stamp the flower image from the Thankful Garden stamp set in Petal Pink Ink, stamping off once on scrap paper, on the side of the panel. Adhere the Basic White panel to a Gray Granite mat then to the inside of the Petal Pink card base.

Decorate a Basic White Medium Envelope to finish your card. Stamp the leaf image form the Thankful Garden stamp set in Soft Sea Foam Ink on the envelope front. Adhere a panel of Country Woods DSP to the envelope flap.

Our Online Zoom Class Registration Ends Today

Tara and I are teaming up to do a Masculine Online Zoom Class on Sunday April 27th featuring the Stampin’ Up! Framed Scenes Bundle. I always seem to struggle with masculine cards, and I know a lot of others do too. We will be making 6 different cards featuring the bundle which is pictured below.
