Stampin’ Up So Santa Christmas Card for Freshly Made Sketches #360

Good Monday morning everyone.  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and you are enjoying this fall weather.  The leaves are all starting to change to their beautiful reds and yellows.  I love going out walking this time of year and admiring all the beautiful trees.

For todays card, I played along with the Freshly Made Sketches #360 Challenge.  Be sure to stop by the challenge blog to see all the amazing projects everyone has made and to play along.  Here is the sketch for Freshly Made Sketches.

I used the adorable So Santa stamp set for my card today.  Here is what I came up with for the sketch.  Take a look.

I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the Santa riding the scooter image, from the So Santa stamp set, in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink.  I colored him in using my Basic Black, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake,  Ivory, Real Red, Shaded Spruce and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I cut the image out using my Big Shot and the Oval from the Stitched Shaped Framelits Dies.  I edged the artwork using my Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Write Marker.

It’s very hard to see in these pictures, I embossed a panel of Cherry Cobbler cardstock using my Big Shot with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I adhered the Cherry Cobbler to a Whisper White mat using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Using my Big Shot, I cut one of the images from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies (available November 1-30, 2018), in Sparkle Glimmer Paper.  Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue I adhered it to the Cherry Cobbler panel.  I adhered the artwork over the die cut using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I adhered a panel of Shaded Spruce cardstock to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I adhered the card front to the top of the Shaded Spruce panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside Whisper White panel I stamped the Holly & Berry image, from the So Santa stamp set, across the top and colored it in using my Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I stamped the sentiment from the So Santa stamp set, in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Cherry Cobbler mat using Snail than to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail.  I adhered the double matted panel to the Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped part of the Santa riding the scooter image, from the So Santa stamp set,  on the bottom right front of the envelope and colored him in the same way I did my card.  I stamped the Holly & Berry image across the top of the envelope flap and colored them in the same as I did for my card.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card.  These Santa images are so much fun to color and the Stampin’ Blends Markers make it so easy.  Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up Spirited Snowmen Holiday Card

Good Friday morning everyone.  Hope you have had a wonderful week and maybe making some fun plans for the weekend.  If you are where the Nor’ easter is hitting, please stay safe.  I know it’s suppose to hit my area starting tonight.

For my card today I used one of my favorite stamp sets Spirited Snowmen.  Take a look.

I started with a Whisper White card front and stamped it, using Versamark Ink, with the Snowflake image from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set all over.  I sprinkled it with my White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered it to a Highland Heather mat using Snail.

I stamped the Ice Skating Snowman from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a small piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the snowman in using my Highland Heather, Mint Macaron, Smoky Slate and Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends Markers. I also used my Balmy Blue Stampin’ Write Marker.  I cut the snowman out using my Layering Ovals Framelits Dies with my Big Shot.  Using Balmy Blue Ink I sponged the edges of the oval with my Stamping Sponge.  I adhered the oval to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped the Winter Cheer sentiment from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I cut the sentiment out using my Big Shot and my Layering Ovals Framelits Dies and sponged it using my Balmy Blue Ink and Stamping Sponges.  I adhered it to the left of the snowman using a Stampin’ Dimensional and a Glue Dot.  I adhered the matted card front to another mat of Mat Macaron using Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhered it to a Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside Whisper White panel I stamped the snowflakes from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink, stamping off once, on the top half edges.  I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tidings stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink in the center of the panel.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Mint Macaron mat using Snail and adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Spirited Snowmen stamp set in Balmy Blue Ink all over the envelope flap.  I stamped the snowman on the front of the envelope and colored it in the same way I did on the card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping!

Stampin’ Up So Santa Christmas Card

Good Thursday morning everyone.  We’ve made it more than halfway through the week and hopefully making some fun plans for the weekend.

For today’s card I used the new to me So Santa Stamp Set.  I love the different Santa images.  Today I used the one on the beach.  Take a look.

I started with a Soft Sea Foam card front and ran it through my Big Shot using the Seaside Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  On a small panel of Shaded Spruce card stock I stamped the sentiment from the So Santa stamp set in Versamark Ink on the bottom right.  I sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and heat set it using my Heat Tool.  I adhered the Shaded Spruce panel to the bottom of the Soft Sea Foam card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I wrapped a piece of Shaded Spruce Metallic Ribbon around the card front and tied a bow.

I stamped the Santa with the Surf Board image from the So Santa stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on a piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I colored the image in using my Crumb Cake, Ivory, Pineapple Punch, Poppy Parade, Shaded Spruce and Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using my Big Shot I cut the image out using the Layering Circle Framelits Dies.  I cut a scalloped circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies in Poppy Parade cardstock.  I adhered the artwork to the scalloped circle using Snail and adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I added 3 Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the card front.  I adhered the card front to a Poppy Parade card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

On the inside Whisper White panel I stamped the sentiment from the So Santa stamp set in Poppy Parade Ink in the center. I stamped the Holly & Berries from the So Santa stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink across the top of the Whisper White panel.  I colored the Holly & Berries in using my  Poppy Parade and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Shaded Spruce mat using Snail and adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Whisper White Envelope.  I stamped the Holly & Berries image across the top front of the envelope and the top of the envelope flap in Shaded Spruce Ink.  I colored them in the same as I did for the inner liner of my card.  I stamped the Starfish image on the bottom front of the envelope and bottom of the envelope flap in Crumb Cake Ink.  I stamped the Santa with Surf Board image in Crumb Cake Ink on the front bottom left of the envelope and colored it in the same as I did on my card.

Thank you for stopping by my blog today.  I hope you liked my card and will give it a try.  I really love coloring these images in with my Stampin’ Blends Markers.  They make coloring so easy.  Happy Stamping!

I started with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the Buffalo Check in Merry Merlot Ink.  I used my Basic Black, Old Olive and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers to make the plaid.  One of our wonderful team members did a Facebook Live video explaining how to make the plaid.  You can see Mary Deatherage from Stamps-N- Lingers here explaining how to do it.

I adhered the plaid panel to an Old Olive card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines Stamp Set in Merry Merlot Ink on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.  Using my Big Shot, I cut the sentiment out with the largest Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies Oval.  Also using my Big Shot I cut out some pine boughs in Old Olive cardstock and some of the decorative pieces in a Champagne Foil Sheet and Silver Glimmer Paper from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies.  I arranged the pieces on the card front, how I thought it would look nice, using Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I adhered the Stitched oval with the sentiment over the pine boughs using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I cut 3 pine cones from the Pretty Pines Thinlits Dies in Soft Suede cardstock and the bow from the same dies in Merry Merlot cardstock.  I adhered the pine cones using Stampin’ Dimensionals.  I adhered the bow on top of the pine cones with a Glue Dot.  In the center of the bow I added 1 Clear Rhinestone Basic Jewel.

On the inside Very Vanilla panel I stamped the snowflake image from the Christmas Pines stamp set multiple times, using Smoky Slate Ink stamping off once, to cover the panel.  I stamped the sentiment from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Merry Merlot Ink in the center.  I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Merry Merlot mat using Snail.  I adhered the matted panel to the inside of the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope.  I stamped the snowflake image from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink stamping off once on the envelope front.  I stamped the Buffalo Check in Merry Merlot Ink on the envelope flap.  Thank you for stopping by my blog today, I hope you enjoyed the card and will give it a try.  Happy Stamping.

Stampin’ Up Bring On The Presents Quick & Easy Card

Good Thursday morning everyone.  Hope your week is going well as we round the corner to the weekend.  Hope you are making some fun plans for the weekend.

Today I’ve made you a quick and easy Holiday card using the Stampin’ Up Bring On The Presents Stamp Set.  Take a look.

I started with a Very Vanilla card base and adhered a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper to it using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I took a small piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and stamped the large bow from Bring On The Presents stamp set in Shaded Spruce.  I also stamped the tag from Bring On The Presents stamp set in Shaded Spruce along with the North Pole Delivery sentiment.  I colored the bow in using my Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends Markers.  Using my Big Shot, I cut the bow and tag out with the coordinating All The Presents Thinlits Dies.

Using my Big Shot I cut 2 ribbon strips from All The Presents Thinlits Dies from a small piece of Gold Foil Sheet.  I adhered the gold ribbon strips using Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a panel of Merry Merlot cardstock.

I attached a piece of Gold Metallic Thread to the tag and adhered it where the ribbon strips crossed using a Glue Dot. I attached the bow covering where the ribbon strips crossed using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the bow image from Bring On The Presents stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink, stamping it off twice to get a very light image, on a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I stamped the sentiment from the stamp set in Shaded Spruce Ink over the bow. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to a Merry Merlot mat using Snail then adhered it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card off I decorated a Medium Very Vanilla Envelope by stamping the bow image on the front right corner in Shaded Spruce Ink.  I colored it in the same as I did for the card.  I adhered a piece of Wood Textures DSP to the envelope flap.  A nice quick and easy card that you can make in any color combinations you’d like.  Thank you for stopping by my blog and I hope that you will give this card a try.  Happy Stamping!
