Good Wednesday morning my fellow stampers. Were you able to hop around yesterday for the Blog Hop? If not, be sure to go back and check out everyone’s awesome projects.
For today’s card I made a Father’s Day card with one of the retiring stamp set. Here’s my card.

I played along with the Sunday Stamps challenge #204. Here is their sketch.

I started with a panel of Whisper White cardstock and stamped the large and small hot air balloons from the Stampin’ Up Lift Me Up Stamp Set in Blushing Bride, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy and Poppy Parade Inks. I did the Masking Technique when stamping the balloons so that it looked like some were in the background.

I stamped the sentiment from the Lift Me Up stamp set below the balloons in Night of Navy Ink. I stamped a few of the clouds from the same stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink stamping off once around the balloons.
I adhered the artwork to a Silver Foil Sheet using Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then to a Night of Navy card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

On the inside I stamped the large hot air balloon from the Lift Me Up stamp set in Night of Navy Ink stamping foo multiple times until I got the light image that I wanted. I stamped the clouds from the same stamp set in Smoky Slate Ink again stamping off multiple times until I got the light shade that I wanted. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Well Said Stamp Set in Night of Navy Ink inside the hot air balloon. I adhered the Whisper White panel to a Poppy Parade mat using Snail then I adhered it to the inside of the Night of Navy card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To finish my card I stamped a Medium Whisper White Envelope. I stamped the larger hot air balloons from the Lift Me Up stamp set on the envelope front in Night of Navy and Poppy Parade Inks. I stamped the smaller hot air balloons from the same stamp set on the envelope flap in the same color inks. I used the masking technique the same as I did for the card. I stamped a few clouds from the same stamp set on the envelope front and flap in Smoky Slate Ink.
The Lift Me Up stamp set along with the matching Up & Away Thinlits will be retiring as of June 3rd. This is such a fun set, I’m sorry to see it go.
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I hope you liked my card and will give it a try. Happy Stamping.

- Order deadline to get the retiring products: June 3, 2019; 11:50 PM (MT)

Stampin’ Up! Retirement List Clarification
It looks like every single stamp set from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog is being retired and that isn’t the case, the carryover sets are being transitioned to Cling Mount.
The stamp sets offered in clear-mount or wood-mount in the 2018–2019 annual catalog that are carrying over into the 2019–2020 annual catalog will be offered in clear-mount and/or wood-mount until existing inventory has been depleted or until June 4, 2019 (whichever comes first).
If the inventory is depleted, you will be notified of the automatic switch to cling when placing an order for that stamp set. This means that you may end up purchasing select cling stamp sets (in carryover artwork) before they can be ordered from the catalog! All carryover rubber stamp sets will be available in cling medium only (with the exception of background stamps in North America) beginning June 4, 2019.
You can download copies of the full retiring lists in PDF Form here:

Product List

I also joined in with a couple challenges today. 1st is the
The next is
I started by adhering a piece of Wood Textures Designer Series Paper to a panel of Pear Pizzazz cardstock using Snail. On another smaller piece of Wood Textures DSP I stamped the little boy with the ducks from the Heartland stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink on the right side. I colored the little boy in with my Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker and my light Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends Marker. I then adhered the panel to the bottom of the Pear Pizzazz card front using Snail.
I wrapped a piece of Linen Thread around the seam twice and tied a small bow. I adhered the card front to a So Saffron card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On a small piece of Whisper White cardstock I stamped the tractor with the dog from the Heartland stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. I colored the tractor in using my Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker and my Dark Daffodil Delight Stampn’ Blends Marker. Using my Big Shot, I cut the image out with my Square Stitched Shaped Framelits Dies and I adhered it to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
On the inside I stamped the tractor image from the Heartland stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off twice, in the center of a Whisper White panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Part Of My Story Stamp Set in Pear Pizzazz Ink over the tractor. This stamp set is a Sale-A-Bration item free with a $50 order.

Here is what I came up with for the combined challenge. Sometimes we get so hung up with the new catalogs that come out that we forget about the Annual Catalog that still has some beautiful stamp sets. I thought this would make a perfect Father’s Day card. Take a look.
I started with a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the barn image from the Stampin’ Up Heartland stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. Using my Aqua Painter I water colored the sky in Balmy Blue Ink. I lightly colored the trees and bushes in with Calypso Coral and So Saffron Inks and the windmill in with Smoky Slate Ink, all using my Aqua Painter. I adhered the artwork panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail.
On a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock I stamped the little boy and the ducks from the Heartland stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. Again using my Aqua Painter, I colored the ducks in So Saffron and Calypso Coral Inks. I colored the little boy in with my Balmy Blue and Ivory Stampin’ Blends Markers and I colored the stick in with my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker. Using my Big Shot I cut the image out using my Layering Circles Framelits Dies. I edged the circle using my Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker.
On the inside I stamped the barn image from the Heartland stamp set in Early Espresso Ink, stamping off twice, in the center of a Very Vanilla panel. I stamped the sentiment from the Stampin’ Up Colorful Seasons stamp set in Early Espresso Ink. I adhered the Very Vanilla panel to an Early Espresso mat using Snail. I then adhered it to the Smoky Slate card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
