Good Saturday morning my stamping friends and welcome to the weekend. I hope you are making some fun plans. I’ll be working all day today and I have this feeling that it is going to be busy. Today is our annual Children’s Miracle Network Promotion. Customers donate $5, get a 5-gallon bucket and almost anything they can fit into that bucket they get 20% off of. Good deal and a lot of people look forward to it.

I have a CAS Christmas card today using a set from the Annual Catalog along with some Sale-a-bration DSP that is still available. Here’s my card for today.

My CAS card today features the Stampin’ Up! Trimming The Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set along with the Lights Aglow 6 X 6 Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Silver & Gold 6 X 6 Sale-a-bration Specialty Paper.

My design is from Global Design Project Sketch Challenge #354.

My colors are from Cardz 4 Galz Challenge #178 Black+White +1 Other Colour. I used Gold for my additional color.

I started by adhering a panel of the Silver & Gold DSP to a panel of Gold Foil Paper. I adhered the layered panel to a Basic White Thick card base.

On a panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the sentiment from the Trimming the Tree stamp set in Versamark Ink. I sprinkled it with my Gold Embossing Powder from my Metallic Embossing Powder. I set it using my Heat Tool.

I cut the sentiment out using the Designer Tags Dies. I cut a panel of Lights Aglow DSP using the same Designer Tags Dies. I cut the tag partially then moved the die down on the paper and cut it from the other side to make the tag longer. I threaded a piece of Gold Simply Elegant Trim through the tags and knotted them off. I adhered the tags to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Brushed Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dot to the sentiment.

On the inside, I stamped the sentiment and bow image from the Trimming the Tree stamp set in Versamark Ink on a Basic White panel. I sprinkled it with my Gold Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool. I adhered a strip of the Lights Aglow DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Basic Black mat and then to the inside of the Basic White Thick card base.

To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I adhered a strip of the Lights Aglow DSP to the envelope front and a panel to the envelope flap.
