Good Sunday morning stamping friends. I hope your weekend is going as planned. It was a little hotter here than I expected yesterday and today is going to be another warm one. I’ll be at the dog bakery all day hopefully greeting puppies and give them treats.
It’s almost apple picking season here in NJ. Nothing better than a fresh picked apple when it’s good and ripe. Because of that, I decided to pull out an older set to play with today. I used the Stampin’ Up! Apple Harvest Cling Stamp Set along with the Glorious Gingham 6 X 6 Designer Series Paper, Online Exclusives Basics 3D Embossing Folder and the Apple Blossoms Dies that are in the clearance rack for my card today.
I started by adhering a panel of Glorious Gingham DSP to a Granny Apple Green mat using Stampin’ Seal. I adhered the layered panel to a Blueberry Bushel card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. On a panel of Pecan Pie, I randomly stamped the apple branch image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Pecan Pie Ink. I embossed the panel using the Basics 3D Embossing Folder. I adhered the embossed panel to a Granny Apple Green mat then to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Glue
On a panel of Basic White, I stamped the apple branch image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I cut the image out using the Apple Blossoms Dies. I colored the image using Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered the die cut image to the embossed panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I tied a triple bow using the 2022-2024 In-Color Baker’s Twine Pack and adhered it to the top of the branch using a Glue Dot.
On a strip of Basic White, I stamped the sentiment from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink. I cut the sentiment out using the Apple Blossoms Dies. Using the Apple Blossoms Dies, I cut 3 small flowers from a panel of Basic White, 3 small flower centers from a panel of Bubble Bath and 3 leaves from a panel of Granny Apple Green. I adhered the flower centers to the flowers using a tiny amount of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I adhered the leaves to the back of the flowers using a Glue Dot. I adhered the sentiment to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the flowers to the card front using Glue Dots. I added Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels to the center of the flowers.
On the inside, I stamped the sentiment from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Blueberry Bushel Ink. I stamped the larger apple branch image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the side of the panel. I colored the image using Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a strip of Glorious Gingham DSP to the bottom of the panel. I adhered the Basic White panel to a Granny Apple Green mat then to the inside of the Blueberry Bushel card base.
To finish my card, I decorated a Basic White Medium Envelope. I stamped the apple branch image from the Apple Harvest stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the envelope front. I colored the image with Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie and Sweet Sorbet Stampin’ Blends Markers. I adhered a panel of Glorious Gingham DSP to the envelope flap.

Sales Tax Holiday Going On!!!
Thirteen states are having Back-to-School Sales Tax Holidays this year and some Stampin’ Up! items qualify for the tax break in those states!

I’m offering a Designer Series Paper share from the Stampin’ Up! September-December 2023 Mini Catalog and I’d love to have you join!! I’m placing my share order early on September 6th and I’m going to use the expedited shipping option so I should be able to have the shares cut, bundled and back out to you during the week of September 11th.
How my shares work: I order full packs of all of the Designer Series Papers listed below, I cut them into 6″ x 6″ pieces (or 6″ x 12″ pieces for double shares) and give you one panel of each design from each pack on the list. I pack up the paper in a cellophane bag with labels listing the Name, Item # and Colors in the pack and mail it back out to you just as quickly as I can! Shares give you a good working sample of all of the papers so that you can decide which ones to order in full packs!
